Chevy S10 Cameo Tailgate Trim, how hard is it to install?

- Struggling with this stupid trim! I'm pretty sure the bend was the issue. But it could be me! lol A Cameo just isn't a Cameo without the trim!

Can confirm that if the tailgate and the trim piece are true to each other. On a Roll Pan truck, method 1 would have worked. The bumper I imagine given the clearance would be impossible. But Kudos!! Thought you had it until you made it disappear. Way to not let it get taped in the end. Excellent video and shows the struggles of real work and not the "its done magically edit.
My hands keeps skipping into the backside of the bumper... had quite a few bruises. Lol
My trim piece fell off a couple weeks ago when I tossed something in the bed, glad I was parked at home! There was only a couple good clips on the left side, no idea how it was hanging on🤯 I found some similar clips at a hot rod shop but deff gonna grab these parts and redo it right. Thanks!!!

I did my buddies trim by removing tailgate taping edges and sliding the trim on from the side. U can see clips as u go in.. it was no where near that tight..lol

I like nice paint, I just don't want every truck I have to be the same. If that makes sense. The GT was alot of fun until I spent way too much on paint! Lol
@@HardCoreGarage Yep. There comes a point with every project that if it gets any nicer, then you don’t wanna drive it as much. There’s a fine line between a beautiful truck and one that you don’t wanna drive very often. 👍🏻
