one of my favorite aspects about this is, that lindsay "wild card" jones points out that the wendigos can mimic other peoples voices and it goes completely unnoticed... i remember the hate geoff got in the comments to the original video xD
bluementoepf I can understand the hate Geoff got, I certainly feel that a lot about him and his choices. But this is Geoff we’re talking about, he’s going to screw up in every way imaginable. We should really be used to it by now.
The trapdoor trap is kinda clever because it happens just after you see Jess is alive HOWEVER the fact that it looks like something is violently slamming itself against it should give some kind of clue that its not friendly, especially since the voice stopped. If it was Jess she would still be calling for help and would use Ashley's name if she recognised her voice

@@Terf1988 Gasp! My Supernatural knowledge comes in handy! Of course it's a show so some of this may just be from the show but it's basically like this:
Wendigo's can't change form while skinwalkers can. When a skinwalker assumes someone's form they also have their voice. A Wendigo can also mimic someone's voice if they have heard it. A Wendigo is formed when someone eats human flesh, I believe in a specific type of area but I'm not sure. A skinwalker is created through intercourse with a human. The human has no knowledge that they slept with a skinwalker. Later the skinwalker comes back and kills the human, taking the child with them. That may be more than you wanted to know but I was really excited that my Supernatural knowledge came in handy.

Geoff's killing intent is my favorite meme in all of Achievement Hunter.
Spoilers (if you don't know the lore) but standing still was the right choice.... as the creature was blind. Standing still in its path though? C'mon Geoff! You killed Mike!

The funny apart is Geoff getting scared at the jump scares and getting chase. It so funny
The only thing is that Geoff didn’t kill mike, he just ended his escape early

I remember everyone legit got upset that Geoff “messes up” Ryan’s gameplay, but AH didn’t care. In fact, they found it quite funny. Some people take video games a bit too seriously to the point of being unable to enjoy other people’s decisions and outcomes.
Personally I prefer when they do milultipart letswatches and whoever's playing stays the same cause then they knows the controls and the way they get through it and tell the story will be the same.
For this series geoff taking over playing directly kills like half the characters and guarantees them the bad ending. Vs layers of fear with Geoff playing from the start, he knew controls and all decisions that let to that ending were his and the story feels more cohesive.
These characters are sadly safer with Geoff than they are with Papa Booce. 😂

The only reason this wasn't the funniest thing ever when it originally came out was the total investment they'd had in the game thus far

I remember being super annoyed when this happened. But that's it's 4 years later... Nah, I'm still super salty.
I still after like 3 years don't understand why soooo many people got so super angry about Geoff killing Mike. I remember how bizarre it was to see the anger about Geoff killing him spread to the comment sections of other videos. It was unreal.
It's probably because all he had to do was pick a direction. I feel if he would have killed Mike by accidentally making the wrong decision that would have been fine but he just kept shaking the controller and did nothing. Still funny though.
no no I feel like the majority of the hate came from the fact that Ryan played the whole series besides that one like 5 minute part in part 1. And then Geoff stepped in and he Geoffed it hard.
i don't get it either. tbfh, achievement hunter would be so boring if they were better at games.
there's also the fact geoff killed ashley and chris in very stupid horror movie fashion i mean one of the major things about horror films don't go off on your own and if you hear something screaming don't go towards it because that's basically saying please kill me scary monster

this is where i fell off this lets watch. i know geoff so scared he makes bad choices if funny but not here. the point of the game was to keep them alive and to screw up like he does just felt wrong. i know they arent scripted but this felt like they were trying to inject something into this lets watch so they put in the person they know would screw up badly. the only way it would be worse is if they told him to kill a few.
