I love the grom footage. Keep it up.
Love seeing a video about a tune. You should tune more of your vehicles!!
I have practically the same intake/ECU/exhaust upgrade plan for my Grom as well, glad to see what you felt about your experience. Maybe a tooth down on the front sprocket for about $30 can make a difference to your acceleration without affecting top speed? I believe I read somewhere the stocking gearing on the 2022+ are good for 79 MPH.
I have just an exhaust on my ‘23 grom and down hill on the highway i hit 78, then i started getting spooked hahah
Ahh that sound! 😎That’s one of the easiest ECU installs I’ve ever seen.
As a seasoned middle aged motorcyclist, someone not afraid of horsepower, I'm glad the Grom exists, it serves a very logical and meaningful place in motorcycling, and I hope it continues well into the future. I hope Honda improves it and refines it and makes it a mature machine.
Did you do the time and mileage for the flash to allow the update first?
While it can take anywhere from 10-100 miles to fully settle in, 90% of the change is made in the first five minutes riding it. So by the time he got to where he was filming, most of the changes would have already been made.
I have a 2024 and comfortably do 65? I reach anywhere from 70-73 mph if I’m reaching for it.
I have a 2023 grom with just an exhaust, i hit 60+ regularly.. i think the tune just helps you reach higher speeds maybe a little quicker?
I weigh roughly 160lbs, so I’m not that heavy either i guess which helps
Awesome
Get the cam it’s worth it
You are shifting too early into 4th and 5th that’s why isn’t going any higher
So, no. No it isn’t.
If you find a dealer with a Suzuki DR-Z400sm I’d like to hear your thoughts. It’s a bike I’ve always been interested in and have friends that tell me that it was the most fun they had on a bike. Another that seems interesting is the Honda crf300L. I’m looking forward to more bike content.
