Amazing how current these questions still are. I love watching these & you're right about the binge watching, the more I watch the more enthused I feel about getting out there. Thank you 🥰
Just came across your channel yesterday. It's very helpful. Thanks for sharing. I'm flying to Australia in Nov 2022 and buying my first caravan. It's an unfinished bare, bones van that we will finish ourselves. It's got no water, no cooking, no rego, no bathroom, no power, not even a bed. lol. it's going to be an adventure for sure. Look forward to watching more of your valuable videos to help you learn from your last 12 months. :)
Thanks guys very informative, we have just returned home to Grafton after four months on the road traveling around Australia and plan to go again next year, thank you P.S our Windsor is 19 years old but we love it.
Huge amount of respect for you guys. We’ve watched a whole lot of your videos and are inspired by the three of you. As fellow Gold Coasters, we will be out there in about 12 months having taken the plunge and ordered our van. BTW, just upgraded to TH-cam premium so we can watch you uninterrupted.
G’day Sean! That’s super exciting and time will absolutely fly by and you’ll be rolling down the road in no time - are you traveling with kids? Enjoy every minute of the lead up 👍😎 Cheers, Paul
@@TheFeelGoodFamily Thanks for the reply Paul. Our kids are now old enough to take good care of themselves and have work and study commitments so they won't be joining us. We used to do a lot of boating which they did enjoy but we reckon it's our time now :-)
I lost my husband 9 years ago to cancer and life is too short, he was only 56 so go do your travelling live life to the fullest. My new partner and I travel and have done for a few years now but I would love to live on the road full time and he's a bit of a home bod but that's all good too. Love following you and you have the most gorgeous son and a very clever one too.
Hi Sue, We’re sorry to hear about your loss and you are so right, life is far too short 💙 thank you for your beautiful message and support and we hope you can get out traveling more and more over time 😊Paul,Katie,Jasper
Life is way too short and goes so fast. We holidayed and toured Europe in our caravan during our summer breaks for 15 years when our 4 children were young (all adults now). We’re so glad we did it now at least in some form. They’ve all grown up with a love of travelling. I really found your answers to the questions interesting and love all your videos, Jasper 💙, your professionalism, your honesty, your lifestyle, your amazing camera work and editing. I’ll keep watching as long as you keep travelling. 😀🇬🇧👏🏻☀️😎 xxx
I love the way you both present your channel, you both have broadcasting qualities, so doing this the way you do is perfectly different for your niche. Keep the awesome content comming 🦋
Simply love your channel. You do a brilliant job. Hitting the road, travelling around our wonderful country has changed drastically over the decades. This improvements in vehicles, vans and technology has changed the face of doing what you are doing considerable. When we did it, our only option was to work our way around the country. The attractions you are seeing, simply didn't exist in our days on the road.
I love hearing the reasons why you are doing this!! You won't have one regret and will treasure the time you have as a family. And Jasper was well worth the wait as hard as it must have been waiting such a long time for a baby- you certainly got a beautiful blessing. Very happy for you!
Hey guys I’m a new follower and I totally get your reasons for traveling, We tried 11 years for our son and he is now 7 and we would love to travel Australia.
Hi Chrystal, so good to have you here with us! Wow, 11 years of trying is incredible and what a wonderful result for you to finally get your beautiful boy!! Honestly it’s the best decision we ever made, to pack up and travel together! It’s so much more than the traveling too, the best part is the time together and sharing the experiences! If it’s your dream, hold on to it and make it happen 👏😊
I came across this channel a few month's ago and went back to the first episode and watched them all. This was maybe your most informative one. Well for me. I am planning 2 years ahead for retirement in 5 years. Purchase a vehicle and van in 2 years and do some small trips to work it all out. Then retire and do a lap or two. I will catch up to your latest episode in a month or so 😀
Agree Barefoot investor changes your life- we have used it for a couple of years now am a year off retirement and have lived debt free life for a few years now. Great gift to give to young people as well.
We married late and were lucky enough to have our beautiful daughter when we were both 40. Our daughter is now nearly 23 and we have enjoyed every minute. Keeps you young and hungry for life. Enjoy guys.
Cool video. Good tips especially the financial stuff from Scott pape. Hopefully, you guys do the cosmos center. It's great to hear your back story. Hopefully one day we can catch up and let the kids play and yes the Mavic air 2 is awesome.. I love mine.
Thank you Jason! It would be great to see you guys on the road - we are hoping to revisit Charleville and a few other places that we drove through early in next year (after wet season) 😊
Just recently subscribed and enjoying the series , it may have be raised before interested to know your annual fuel bill versus Km travelled ? Kind Regards
Great episode, thanks for sharing. Welcome to the Windsor family. We are heading out to Longreach this week in our Windsor 196RD. We might cross paths.
Great informative video guys. I appreciate you sharing your journey and learning's from travelling but also personal journey to get to this point. We took 3 months off and travelled WA ( from Vic, BC) with a camper trailer, a 18month old and beagle.. We planned to the lap about "now" (but cannot leave a 5k radius let alone the state) and bought a caravan etc for it. At this point we are living our trip through several youtube families and taking notes on places to go. Keep the video's coming and hopefully soon we may pass you in our travels and say hello.
Hi - here is a link to the Qld Transport regarding your question that will answer this and other questions around safe towing - www.qld.gov.au/transport/vehicle-safety/towing/towing-vehicles-and-trailers
Magic presentation team. I wish we were 30 years younger. But we're doing as much travel in our caravan here in NZ. Love following your adventures. Stay safe & keep up the good work.
Well done guys, fantastic Q&A . The editing shows , happy travels it’s giving us hope that one day we will get back on the road , feels like the Truman show down here in Vic . 😁👍
Awesome Guys! I've followed your journey from the beginning.. My husband and I did a similar thing approx 8 years ago when we purchased a large truck which we converted into a musical instrument showroom and repair station. We had the best time in that truck. Life is too short..
@@TheFeelGoodFamily Unfortunately not at the moment guys, we thought about converting the truck into a motorhome but just would have been too costly. We built a showroom and repair workshop from home. Never say never though!
Love the work you do hope to see you on the road one day as my wife and I are almost ready to go just need the covid problem to be soughed out as need to stop buying gadgets for the caravan and start using it no good in the garage. Im hoping to do a drone fishing Australia you tube Chanel when we go hope it will keep people amused. All of your tips are great and you both look very happy nice to see people enjoying life
Hey Matthew! Yes haha stop buying gadgets 🤣👍 love the drone fishing idea and I’d be keen to try that and see how you actually do it too!! Look forward to seeing you guys on the road somewhere 😊 cheers, Paul, Katie & Jasper
Hi Richard, we had an opportunity to swap into Apollo’s new Windsor family van and we jumped at the chance to try their new rig! Loving it so far and great to be traveling in outback Qld!
Great question. We feel very fortunate!! Especially being in a state that is promoting people to support domestic tourism and regions within qld. This is only one of the many struggling industries that have been affected so we are grateful to be a part of the regrowth. We are taking all the required precautions and following the covid guidelines to keep ourselves and those we visit safe. All the best wherever you are and we hope you are safe and well too 😊
The Feel Good Family we have a caravan, we’ve been thinking about upgrading but just been unsure if it’s worth the money right now. We also live in QLD 🙂
Greetings from NZ.Have been watching from first episode.Do you need to be weight conscious of the loading of the van and Ute when you are travelling on the road .🇳🇿🤳🏻❤️
Recently subscribed to your blog and throughly enjoying the series, just a quick question which may have been answered previously ? Can you tell me the cost of your Annual fuel bill versus Km traveled Kind Regards Andrew
Hi Andrew, great question and can you leave it with me.... covid kinda stuffed the travel a little for about 4 months of stationary but I’ll try and work out an average 😊👍
The Feel Good Family thank you appreciate your reply and look forward to your response , it will give me some idea of the annual budget as we are planning to do a similar adventure in the not to distance future Kind Regards Andrew
