I just got a job as a safety coordinator. I will be working with a safety technician and safety manager. I only have my OSHA 30. In the future plan on getting more certifications. Excited to start. Its an entry level manager position. It was a pay cut but found myself soulless at my current job. Ready for a breath of fresh air. Thanks for your videos.

I’m in the same boat! Finished my apprenticeship and work is slow with my local and I’ve been laid off for quite some time. I’m back to work and my soul is gone, and I’m looking for a career I can use my previous experience with 👍

Is there something that a degree in EHS can do that a degree in OSH cant do?

It honestly gets easier the more you do it, you'll soon find yourself not giving it a second thought

@@SafetySpiel my plan is to getting as many certifications I can till the first of the year and see if I can get a job somewhere. Next course is environmental health and safety. I’ve been in and out of plants since the mid 90s but I want to try a career in safety or environmental. I just found your channel about a week or so ago and look forward to catching up on some videos. Any suggestions would be awesome

I was in the safety field back home in the UK, now starting over in Australia!
Keep the videos coming because its great knowing I'm going through situations youve been in and talk about in your videos. Cant wait to starting dealing with those that "just want to see the world burn" lol

Gregorj thank you so much for the comment! Just remember that even though you are watching my videos, there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of other Safety Professionals around the world who seemingly deal with the same things that I have dealt with, and continue to deal with. So you and I are not alone. Good luck with everything brother! Look up Georgina Poole on LinkedIn - she is a H&S Professional in Australia as well! Would be a good addition to your network if you haven't connected with her yet! Shoot me a connection as well, just search for Terry Lee Stiles Gregory

Thanks Saeed! Just remember as I said in the video, some of these could vary greatly depending on the company. This was just a basic idea of each of the titles. I'm glad you were able to get some use out of it though!
