It is wonderful that you have a spot that you can call your own. Looks lovely and tranquill. More progress each day. Well done. Roll on tomorrow cannot wait..
Cows can be aggressive when a dog is with us. I was fastening my auntie`s hens up one evening with the sheepdog, when her two cows started attacking. I was so scared I nearly got into the hen hut. They turned all of a sudden.
You are so brave going up to the cows like that! I love them but I’d be too afraid without a fence between us lol! Hopefully electrician gets you all sorted fast!
My Dad would scream at the cows. They would just look at him and continue to eat the grass . We'd send him back to his tractor while my Mom, teenaged sisters, brother and I would just walk behind the slowly, and they would move where we headed them. We carried sticks, but that was only to detour any of them from wanting to break our lines and head back the way they had come from. We didn't hit them only wave the sticks or our arms in the air if needed which usely not necessary.
Cows that are treated well as those cows certainly have been treated with kindness. The Cows were looking at you as a leader and were a little confused at what you were wanting them to do. The whole thing was really sweet.
@@nancymiller7294 You must be a cow whisperer Nancy. 😊 They are well looked after and very content. I didn’t really feel threatened, but it was a bit of fun in the end. 🙌🐄🙌❤️
Ha ha they do always shout on the phone😂 also they also seem to ruin something else when working on a task. I dont trust cows, I like them but they can be unpredictable, Noel seems to have control, must be the shouty voice.
Oh don't cows terrify me, I love them but from a distance 😂. I see Roy is ok roaming free now that's a relief I bet he's living his best life bless him 😊
Carry a stick when moving the cows, it acts as an extension of your arm & makes you bigger / more dominant when you use a confident voice. Most cows are used to sticks and recognise it means you are boss. I’m still scared of them when I have my dog with me though
driving up to the cows & tooting your horn would've been quicker, but that was fun love your little tranquil area; shame the chimneys have to go, you're not going to have an open fire or wood heater? would to know what's behind the modern section, am hoping it'll be something you can use thanx for sharing
We really do want to have a small wood burner and I already have my mind on which wall I want it to go on. This will be a happy compromise. Tbh we need the wall space and the huge inglenook is redundant. We’ll still make it a cosy room for winter evenings. 🙌🏡🔥
"I'll bring some rope...then I can have them hanging out the back." Hmmmm, sounds like Noel's mimicking a Hitchcock murder to me! Who peeved him off, haha? Roy running like the wind in the field. You sounded too sweet, like you were inviting the cows to tea - Noel handled it with force, he's in charge. I say Sid's a fast driver, haha. When you and Noel were placing the roof tile corrugated pieces in the trailer, with the speed on fast mode it looked so much like old 35 mm films from the early '60's, haha. Was that your intention?
7 acres but the rest is personal information that I’m uncomfortable sharing in public. Let’s just say we bought at the right time in 2021. Prices have risen considerably since then, possibly due to the Vacant Property Grant becoming available.
@@heatherarthur6232 Haha - thankfully I don’t take it too seriously… and neither do the cows 🐮 Thanks for watching Hesrher and for taking the time and trouble to leave a comment 🙌👍❤️❤️❤️

So funny watching you walk behind Noel at a safe distance from the cows .
Dont approach them when they have their young with them.
@@denisepeters8551 That’s good to know. She wasn’t having any of it! 🤣

Roy seems much more settled and aware of the territorial boundaries. His response to recall much improved, which is reassuring:
@@TheHiddenHouseIreland that's great so you can relax about him now 😊

I thought you were in the buff when you were summoning Edmund lol might be why the cows turned up instead get them to do the electric.
Haha, I’m not quite there yet, although it would be a good way to have a shower at the next downpour. 🙌🤣
