Guys, MT4 and Trading View both have community created indicators for round number levels or grid levels.
Bear in mind that the size of a "whole number" only matters relative to the typical size of price range per timeframe. i.e. 10-pip round numbers won't appear to matter on a D1 EURUSD chart, where 25-pip levels will.
10-pip levels will really stand out on the M5 chart, and 1 pip or 2.5 pip (25 point) levels will show up on M1 or tick charts.
Levels can be hard or soft -- hard meaning a wick high or low tags the level or very nearly, and is rejected; soft meaning price on that timeframe wicks through but one or more candle closes respect the level.
This does not mean any single level is magically 100% reliable. Remember that every SR level is going to break eventually.
Anyone who says this is not respected and is for the dumb money (another comment on here) has not spent enough time specializing in watching an individual instrument on the tick chart -- or the D1 chart for that matter. The behavior can be observed everywhere, on every scale, due to price behavior self-similarity. Whether you can design a trading method with positive edge around this behavior will depend on a lot of things in your personal trading method and design.

Daily reset is the standard level to watch when Vwap gaps. Very effective on Btc/Usd as well as indices for me.

VWAP will always be the same in all time frames. Check it out on your charts. 1,5,10,30 minute, 1 hour, 4 hour all have the same price on the VWAP.

Hi Mr Mark , what about breaking daily Exponential moving average, especially on stock, when it has the lowest price in 52 weeks with GAP up with Cup and handle pattern, I notice high spike on two stock the past month ,US stock ( SES ,BIMI 20/10/2019 ) i think
also I asked before about (Halted , Circuit breaker ) US stock for moving up too fast, how we can trade it
thank you very much, I learned a lot from your channel

USDJPY GMT+2 server time 02:10 sub-pip accurate reversal off 109.20. 03:00 Tokyo open level break, retest, and confirmation continuation below 109.15, then 5 minutes later a larger-scale retest and reversal at the same 109.15. All visible on M1 chart. Also, all evening thus far today USDJPY made a higher timeframe soft test of 109.25. H1 candle wicked through .25 twice but couldn't sustain the level, and fell 15 pips just prior to Tokyo open -- which is 50% above H1 longterm ATR. It's a pretty decent opening move for USDJPY at this time. The drop drilled 109.105 exactly on my broker, meaning someone had a large order to front-run the buys at 109.10, by .5 pip. On tick charts, you can see a first spike that precisely tags .105, then a small retrace and the last attempt to push down only managed to not quite retest .105. This entire action took 3 minutes, and then it ran back up to the aforementioned 109.15 precisely.

On crude I do like to draw solid lines at .00 .20 .40 .60.80 and dotted lines at .10 .30 .50 .70 . Nice confluence to trade solid lines to dotted lines

In general, .20, .25, .30; .70, .75, .80 also tends to be an aggregate zone, b/c of the interest in 00, 25, 50, 75 levels. I've only observed this in stocks and forex, can't say on crude.

I have a few hundred trades at 10 and 100 levels (plus mandatory price action analysis) that say otherwise, but just b/c round numbers work brilliantly for me at the tick and M1 timeframes doesn't mean they work for you in your method. Hope your approach works well for you. I'm quite happy with my 2.5 pip SLs and trade performance at round numbers.
