When an enthusiastic person gives a tour, the subject matter doesn't have to be interesting, it's still going to be a good tour. When the subject matter is interesting and you get an enthusiastic guide, it's amazing. I am amazed. Thank you so much for this video.
Now that was an example of how it's done, you did a brill job of finding him, and then using your own knowledge to ask the question he no doubt never gets asked, and the general crew members would have difficulty answering.
This tour was great. And your tour guide, what a nice down to earth gentleman. He was happy and proud to explain all the details he helped make possible on motor yatch Bold. Great work.
Nothing better than hearing two enthusiastic experts having a chat. What a great host. A week of big swells in the Indian Ocean would have been hell. One of your best videos. Many thanks.
Probably one of the coolest yacht videos I have seen to date. The technical aspect of yachts is so fascinating and rarely gets talked about. Really stellar content.
What an interesting tour by a gentleman who loves what he does and is willing to share his expertise. A very people oriented person makes all the difference compared to the first guy who took you on a marathon run through the ship.
As an AV Consultant - I loved this! Yay - we get to see equipment racks. I don't do boats and homes, but much of the backbone stuff is the same. Very interesting .Thank you!!
That was a refreshingly, breathtaking tour! That gentleman wasn't simply enthusiastic about his topic, you can tell he is passionate about it! I really enjoyed listening to him talk about the technical aspects and how some things are better than others (especially the windows on the bridge).
I cannot thank you enough for all of your videos, especially this one. I have always wanted to know about the technical aspects of the entertainment and networking of these types of crafts and you just gave me the closest glimpse I'll probably ever see! Thank you for sharing your experiences!
It's great having these explanatory videos which appeal to everyone without them being too complex to understand. This is very important, especially as many viewers may never have set foot on a boat such as this. It's also good to see such genuine enthusiasm when you 'quiz' people about their specific task or role on the vessel. May we have more informative and enjoyable videos like this from eSysman please ! 🤗 xxx
So finally a proper tour :-) good on you. 15000 !!!! I thought i was OTT on my 12 meter boat with 4000 watts :-) Love to see the real tech stuff for a change. Being a nautical engineer before going into banking (don't ask) :-) This AV guy was extremely knowledgable and helpful, great he gave you so much time and good for all of us less fortunate souls that did not make it to MYS this year.
The intricacy of these boats simply astounds me to this day. This is a proper tour and hank you for showing us how much actual work goes into these amazing boats! Love the work your doing keep it up
eSy, I must’ve watched this video 50+ times; its one of my favorites...This IT guy was so informative and easy going; you seemed to be able to “pull info” out of him...great job.
Excellent, excellent, excellent.... that was a great video. Thank you so much and for the guy who gave you the private tour of the behind the scene electronics.
Excellent content and the aspect of this video I like the most is the excitement of the tech who built it all. As an engineer I know the excitement of having the opportunity to show what you at least designed, and possibly even built. So his enthusiasm is fully understood by me. It's so great to see skilled people doing what they love to do. The 9-screen video wall is spectacular and every detail of what all he built is incredibly impressive. Your presentation of it all is very informative and even comprehensive. I very much like how you just let him go with the explanation of it all and your questions and comments show how much you know and understand about it. I'm impressed. I know that I say this repeatedly, but I enjoy every one of your videos. Cheers.
Greetings from Colorado! I agree. Your best video yet. I'm guessing you are both very good at your jobs. THANK you for taking a second tour. The contrast between the 2 videos is massive.
Holy Moly the Tech/Av Dude was awesome! What a system! Those commercial big screen systems were right out of football stadiums! Adds a new meaning to movie night on the high seas! Where was the pop corn maker? The interior of the War Ship was first class! Great tour take two! Awesome eSysman!!!!
This vid is really informative and approaches things from such a different perspective. Have to love the marble - a unique boat indeed, not to everyone’s liking but unique just the same.
Loved the AV and the Electronics on board,. Incredible done and well thought out. You could have done the 3rd video of just the bridge, their so many different electronics tools the captain has to learn. Wow. The AV tech truly loved what he does and is very good at it... Thanks again for all your hard work...
That guy is an AV enthusiast through and through. No one likes talking about AV or HI-FI equipment more than a true enthusiast. People "into" HI-FI and AV would recognise a fellow enthusiast straight away and could happily talk all day about such things. The boat would almost become secondary. He also pointed out the pitfalls of some systems (pop-up tv etc.) which only a true expert would know about or even advise against having on-board. A very 'technical' behind the scenes tour and well done for it. More interesting than a "here's the VIP bedroom" type of tour I think but then, I am a HI-FI and AV enthusiast myself, so I'm biased. Some very clever idea's and well done on the video tour. Thankyou.
Outstanding review of AV equipment on a vessel that size! Never made a comment but I had to comment that you did a great job considering you had lots of gawkers everywhere on the ship which must have been difficult to get around. He really knew his stuff and you were very kind to interject comments which were helpful for the unknowing technical person. Keep up the great work.... enjoy your videos immensely!
What a nice gentleman! Well spoken, enthusiastic, proud for his excellent work! One of the best tours I've watched. So welcoming. Thank you so much for this video.
The #2 Tour of the S/Y Bold is/was just terrific and extremely informative. Loved the 9 55” TV’s without borders!! The fellow that took you on the tour was very personable, but, you too, held up your end too! Giving him just enough knowledge of your own, to let him know you knew something about what he was discussing; even if you had no idea...great job!!!
Amazing video and tour. And yes, this is night and day from the previous one. You raised a good point that some folks only care for the marble on the walls and floor. This video showed the heart and soul of the vessel. This video made me a subscriber. Well done, both of you!
That was an awesome tour! I think what helped was the fact you knew about the different systems. Pretty amazing in terms of the different setups. Thanks for sharing.
Thoroughly enjoyable and really fascinating. I can see video after video of expensive decore and teak decks but this content is refreshingly unique. Thank you!
Thanks for doing this video - this was extremely interesting, and very informative. It is also an often overlooked subject. Incidentally, having worked the water somewhat, I can also add, that the real significance of the forward facing bridge glass, is that it totally eliminates glare from the water, which will very regularly outright blind the pilot on vessels with forward, downward sloping glass. The bridge on this vessel is indeed, noticably very well desigend, and I totally agree with you about the subject of having individual controls for everything. The "glass bridge" systems, are in my opinion, not at all what they are made out to be, as in any urgent situation, individual controls are far faster and easier to find, than a single access system, which has to be switched for everything. Great tour -thanks again ! Geoff Rohde
Very awesome. Even as cool as the interior is, it was even cooler and more awesome to here so much about the tech used on board. Especially when the guy giving the tour is the one who built the systems and is actually excited about it and excited to share it. Awesome video as usual thanks for all the hard work getting this for us.
We use Raspberry pi's with ham radio, pretty handy little units! Simple enough a lot of ham/amateur radio operators build their own. Awesome to see them used on a vessel like this.
WOW thank you so much for that tour! For me that was the best video ever tho i like all your videos. It was very interesting to me as I own an AV integration company in Florida for homes and I really appreciate you and the installer showing us the back end of the system. I have always wanted to see what they use on the yachts. Its hard to find videos that highlight that part of the yacht. Thanks again!
This setup is not a usual type of setup, this was very streamlined compared to every other yacht I've seen. Most systems use Crestron at it's core. And the rooms have a lot of equipment in them. Here mostly centrally hosted and sent over IP and HDMI.
Your guide did a superb job of the A/V install, and using RPis too! That's fantastic. Seems to be HDMI over IP? Typically needs compressed, but you can have the systems that use CAT5/6 but uncompressed, just can't put it through routers. Difference is better quality because you haven't gone through the compression again. Some people still prefer to convert to YUV and use analog routing and duplication because you don't have the problems with HDMI compatibility then. Interesting sticking with DECT, and I did wonder how RF signals fair within a boat given the metal construction. Would be a nightmare with resonances and hot / cold spots for the WiFi signals never mind shadowing from those metal structures (where they weren't just acting like a Faraday cage!). Laptops and other larger devices tend to have antenna diversity to help solve this, but harder when you have just something the size of a phone.
So much better you really got lucky finding this guy and really knew his tech. Very interesting as probably everyone else has said. Lol Thanks for sharing. 😉👍👍
Best video ever, anywhere - because it's a) a unique topic and b) a very engaging and qualified expert. There's a c) as well, for which you get the credit - bringing him to us. Can't thank you enough, especially because 1 1/2 years later, the technology may have changed, but the uniqueness hasn't. I'd still hire the same expert, given the chance (and the wealth to be able to use it). Thanks again.
We were talking about a accident on motorboat and yachts A post on Facebook and I recommended your channel to everybody it was about the boat that lost computer and hit the dock keep up the good work I really enjoy your blog
What a difference a tour makes. That would be the A/V Engineer to do your home theatre. And thanks again for the hot blonde stew alerts at 3:20 and again 11:45. Magnificent !!!!!
Contact details for the Company (and great tour guide) that installed the AV system is as follows:

That was such a good video
Where is part?
Looks like you had fun with the "engineering Porn".....very informative too !!
That guy deserves a letter mate.
How much better was this guy. He was actually enthusiastic about his work and welcoming to guests.
He seems like a nice warm fella.
It doesn't hurt that the guest seemed just as interested about his work as he is.
Yacht nerds nerding out
2nd guy was a very good host. He takes pride in his work and he shows it !
All technical people stand with both feet on the ground in this case on the water, and they communicate comprehensive proudly , without..well done.
When an enthusiastic person gives a tour, the subject matter doesn't have to be interesting, it's still going to be a good tour. When the subject matter is interesting and you get an enthusiastic guide, it's amazing. I am amazed. Thank you so much for this video.
Definitely 2nd guy i want to listen to everything he was a great guide.
terrific observation
Now that was an example of how it's done, you did a brill job of finding him, and then using your own knowledge to ask the question he no doubt never gets asked, and the general crew members would have difficulty answering.
that first guy who basically ruined the tour is probably a broker who will neither buy or sell anything for these people and simply wasted their time.
This tour was great. And your tour guide, what a nice down to earth gentleman. He was happy and proud to explain all the details he helped make possible on motor yatch Bold. Great work.
Very good tour by the builder. This German i guess is enthousiastic about the equipment and explaines very clearly all aspects. Super.
He is definitely German. I know because I am too.
Great comeback interview. His enthusiasm and pride showed through. I love the behind the scenes stuff much more than the tour of marble....
What an interesting tour by a gentleman who loves what he does and is willing to share his expertise. A very people oriented person makes all the difference compared to the first guy who took you on a marathon run through the ship.
It was interesting to see how this engineer was very much about using commercially available technology for simplicities sake.
Now this is a boat tour you don't often get to see; the tech audio and visual aspects. The gentleman certainly know his stuff. Thanx eSysman!
As an AV Consultant - I loved this! Yay - we get to see equipment racks. I don't do boats and homes, but much of the backbone stuff is the same. Very interesting .Thank you!!
I love the hand-swipe to open the master cabin.
That was a refreshingly, breathtaking tour! That gentleman wasn't simply enthusiastic about his topic, you can tell he is passionate about it! I really enjoyed listening to him talk about the technical aspects and how some things are better than others (especially the windows on the bridge).
Really good video, people who are passionate about what they do !!! 👍
I cannot thank you enough for all of your videos, especially this one. I have always wanted to know about the technical aspects of the entertainment and networking of these types of crafts and you just gave me the closest glimpse I'll probably ever see! Thank you for sharing your experiences!
Now, *that* , was an awesome tour! That is a side of yachts rarely seen.
It's great having these explanatory videos which appeal to everyone without them being too complex to understand. This AV guy was extremely knowledgable and helpful, great he gave you so much time and good for all of us less fortunate souls that did not make it to MYS this year.
He said 50,000 watts.
3x6000 and 1x20,000 (38,000) plus two more 6000 watt amps not shown. That's 50,000 watts. That ain't no joke.
The intricacy of these boats simply astounds me to this day. This is a proper tour and hank you for showing us how much actual work goes into these amazing boats! Love the work your doing keep it up
Informative and enthusiastic tour. Well done and thank you.
Now this fellow was a professional and with a great attitude! He certainly would be a candidate for my crew. Wonderful tour! Thanks!
eSy, I must’ve watched this video 50+ times; its one of my favorites...This IT guy was so informative and easy going; you seemed to be able to “pull info” out of him...great job.
That was an AWESOME video. So much better than that last guy. I hope you can get more like this in the future !!
One of the best tours ever! It really shows the in and out of the yacht and potential for guest entertainment systems.
Excellent, excellent, excellent.... that was a great video. Thank you so much and for the guy who gave you the private tour of the behind the scene electronics.
Best TV and Tech system yet...
Best tour yet...

As many have already said, what a great chap to give you a tour of the yacht in such detail and to reveal all he knew about it to you :)
I love that guy. He was ace. And congrats on the vid. Great to see the technical stuff explained

How did you pull off such an amazing tour? This was gold I want to live on Bold.
Oh Yeah❤️💗1️⃣‼️💲
What a nice gentleman! Well spoken, enthusiastic, proud for his excellent work! One of the best tours I've watched. So welcoming.
Thank you so much for this video.
Now this is the guy i want handling my yacht av needs
He had me at Raspberry pi
As a computer engineer
I cannot live without those lil things
This is definitely one of the best videos, I love to see the inner workings on these vessels! Thank you for making it possible for us to see!
Content is brilliant thank you
The #2 Tour of the S/Y Bold is/was just terrific and extremely informative. Loved the 9 55” TV’s without borders!!

You always luck out and get a great guy that gives you a great tour! Thanks for sharing!
You got the right guy to give you an actual great tour...
An amazingly gracious and generous tour guide.
What a great tour and a great guy. Nice job.
Best video of Monaco 2019 yet! Well done and thank you for sharing parts of the yachts we never get to see normally
This is the coolest yacht I've seen.
Fascinating. Much better than the rushed tour in the first video.
Amazing video and tour. And yes, this is night and day from the previous one. You raised a good point that some folks only care for the marble on the walls and floor. This video showed the heart and soul of the vessel.

That was an awesome tour! I think what helped was the fact you knew about the different systems. Pretty amazing in terms of the different setups. Thanks for sharing.
The number of power amp and total out put is enough to do an outdoor rock concert.
He knows a lot, what a tour, what a super yacht ! thanks !
Please do more this kind of tour. Its entertaining, educating and breathtaking to see yacht that great.
Thoroughly enjoyable and really fascinating. I can see video after video of expensive decore and teak decks but this content is refreshingly unique. Thank you!
Can’t even imagine dealing with everything that goes on with a boat that big, absolutely amazing 😳
This is a detailed tour. 👍🇨🇦
Thank you, Sir! Very in-depth and detailed. Something that is often overlooked by others.
Much better video. This guy was awesome! I'm glad he was there to give you a real tour. You do great videos!
Fantastic video idea. Do more like these if possible.
That ship is outstandingly beautifully designed.
Thanks for doing this video - this was extremely interesting, and very informative. It is also an often overlooked subject. This was the most informative video of IT on a Super Yacht ever... Well done..
Wow, this guy knows his stuff :-)
Thanks for going back for a re tour, your knowledge on videos is fantastic and I love the longer vids, much better than TV
Very awesome. Even as cool as the interior is, it was even cooler and more awesome to here so much about the tech used on board. Especially when the guy giving the tour is the one who built the systems and is actually excited about it and excited to share it. Awesome video as usual thanks for all the hard work getting this for us.
Brilliant tour, MORE please....nice to see how things work and are planned out. It's a good looking boat.👍

And enormous of gadgetry.
Well done 👍👍👍
I love this kinda yachts, bold statement
Loved that! And what a top bloke! Much more interesting than that last fella!
Great video. Nice to listen to the both of you. Much fun

Very smart setup with the tvs and the local channels. Slight;y dated, but very interesting.
So much better you really got lucky finding this guy and really knew his tech. Very interesting as probably everyone else has said. Lol
Thanks for sharing. 😉👍👍
Love how he went into the audio and video stuff which is my thing for sure!
I like that he is using DVB-T to carry all the camera, charts, etc too all the TV's a very neat solution.
Best video ever, anywhere - because it's a) a unique topic and b) a very engaging and qualified expert. There's a c) as well, for which you get the credit - bringing him to us. If I ever worked on a ship. This would be my specialty. Great video.
I'm impressed by tour. I never expected to see inside electronic cabinets like that.
I am surprised at some of the workmanship however. Thanks!!!
Excellent tour, well worth finding.
So ,here we see again the quality of e Sysman..... to come some were.
Well done with AV tour of Bold. TVs that don't disappear... they turn into picture frames. Keep the good work up.
Excellent video. Great to get such a detailed glimpse inside such a unique yacht.
Wow! Great video! Great tour guide! Very interesting. 👍👍

Very well designed, Bold screams Australian quality, practically and safety.
you're right he did seem like a great guy 👍🏼 loved the tour of this very futuristic ship 👏🏻👏🏻
Plain and simply - excellent.
This was a great video, he really knows his stuff and was friendly and Informative.
You where really in your element with this tour.
An awesome video mate, well done and thank you.
You went from one extreme to the other.
It seems the other guy was rushed by the guest.
Yes he was. He was talking to the other guest, I was quiet just trying to film.
Yep, keep pushing and you'll soon be brokering yacht sales and management for Burgess, all over the world.
You're doing good!
Good job!
