- #shorts I'd always wanted a #Spidey suit and with a $30 suit off Amazon and around $20 in supplies I made it come to life! Hat tip to@hfklsd whose videos and techniques really inspired me #spiderman #costumemaking #spidermancosplay #cosplaytutorial #marvel

It look so much better even with a few other touches

3.8k with only 3 comments let me fix that
@@TheGhostDuck. Can we not...
I just picture Peter doing this in his room late at night
Definitely what he would do
Omg ikr
This and building his ucs lego death star 😂
Definitely
Same 😂
early and this is so cool you can tell the difference even if it's little chnages
Thank you! Sometimes on simple costumes little changes make a big difference! 😊
@michaelterrell8191 ok i'm
not the only person who does this if others do it i can
@michaelterrell8191 never said i copy
people besides if you were early by a couple minutes youd probs say smth besides not even the point of the comment the point is abt the costume and the subtle changes
@@jenmarkham Miles Morales please
The webbing especially is so subtle but absolutely transformed the suit. Amazing!
Thank you!
A lot of the time it's the subtle things that make a big difference. This looks awesome ❤️
Thank you so much! ❤️🙏
Oh I definitely should try this! I have such a hard time with the mask!
“I like to make clothes”
“Oh you mean like prom dresses?”
“…you could wear it to prom…”
Lol!!!! Would be so comfy at prom!
@@regulus7181this is a good joke
@Regulus HAHAHAHA
@Regulus drive safe, the dance is “far from home”
Any woman who would wear that to prom instead of a dress is not the type of woman you would want to take to prom. That is the type of woman you want to spend the rest of your life with.
everyone: it looks so good!
my broke ahh: so i could save $50…
I was thinking the same. I was over here like it looks almost exactly identical
No, you could save $17 without the upgrades because you need $33 for the spidey suit…
Wow such small changes make a huge difference
its the tiny details that make a work of art go from good to amazing
i love ur costumes
Thank you!
Everything looks so good!! The mask neck probably could have been tucked into the suits neckline and it would have been a bit more seamless
It looks cool on cam but I think with 3d stuff it probably look even better in person
You look like a super cool middle school teacher. The ones no one deserves but we all need.
Well now that is a very kind compliment, thank you!!
Since every spiderman created exists in the spider verse, technically she is spiderman in another universe wearing that costume
Please PLEASE don't heat foam over an open flame without proper ventilation and a respirator
Looks so much better with little details keep up the work
Came for the cool spider man outfit, stayed because of the Bills hat HEYY EYYY EYYY EYYY
It looks incredible! Your eye for detail is absolutely brilliant 👏
You’re so kind thank you 🙏❤️
Wow except for the sewing portion this is a really good DIY. This is a great way to still make a cosplay outfit on a budget.
Additional depth to anything will look good. This made the suit so cool! It really is the smallest details that give the big picture it's look. Great job!
The costume looks great, as does she.
That’s so cool!
In another world where Aunt May is the friendly neighborhood spiderman
Little changes but it looks better and fits so beautifully!
Even just making it more fitted gave it a whole new look
I agree! Thank you!
She is absolutely gorgeous....wow
"A subtle upgrade"?!
That's incredible!!! 👏 👏
Have you ever done/Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how you take in the sides of the mask? I've got Ghost Spider and Spiderpunk on my list of next cosplays but I'm so scared of buying a mask and having it go awfully haha
Turn it inside out and pin it accordingly, either carefully take it off and sew it or take a sharpie and trace the edges from both sides before taking the pins out, taking the mask off and pin again according to the sharpie markings before sewing it.
Makes me think how did all the spider-personals made their suits.
I feel like these differences are more obvious irl because in video I didn’t know there were differences until you pointed them out. But I can see how the shoes and sewing adjustments would add comfort and the raised dimensions would add visual texture.
I didn't even see the change in the beginning.
I agree it's subtle, but sometimes on the simplest costumes the little things make the biggest difference 😊
Looks great! 👍🏻
Thank you!
Really appreciate the metallic dimension to the web lines. It reminds me of all the cool suits they used in the movies! Now all that's needed is actual, durable looking fabric as a base, and it's gold!
You are an example of hard work
Is it just me? I don’t think it looks much different for all that work, especially in the dark.😊
Was going to say the same thing… and she spent so much time adjusting the suit.
When she says "just over $50" it switched from the before to the after shot. I can see a pretty big difference right away, especially with the fit.
Spider logo looked worse 😂
the rest was okay
That is called video you cant see subtle changes well on this so called video technology
This is way better! Small changes my but it makes all the difference!
Thank you! ❤️💙
"subtle change" it looks so much better, welldone 👍
This looks like the type of upgrade that is even more impressive when you see it in person. The raised lines!
Spiderman costumes look so much better on girls.
It looks great! I do the same thing with lots of my costumes. Sometimes u just can’t afford raw materials.
Thanks! And sometimes modifying something is not only cheaper but more satisfying. I love making certain costumes but there are others I know I would get no joy out of creating 😊
@@jenmarkham exactly! Cosplay doesn’t have to be monetary always.
Aunt May in the next Spider-Man trilogy:
Would
I love the proud posing at the end 😂♥️
In the most polite way possible, you seem to be from the more adult crowd, not old but more adult, and you being able to pull off these amazing Cosplays of yours is lovely. Keep up the amazing work
I saw literally no difference. But at least she had fun doing it and I guess that’s the whole point!
Yes!! That’s exactly the point! 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
Even the small touches like that can help make your cosplay more to your personal liking. I really think it turned out amazing
Thank you so much!!
Cannot believe how productive people are. My anxiety could never:(
God I hate that women can’t post cosplay on the internet without getting comments on their bodies.
When your allergic to latex: 👁️👄👁️
Awesome upgrades already, something I've seen make a huge difference for stuff like this is a little extra dye. Make the reds redder and the blues bluer and a mass produced costume can really pop.
The water shoes to reenforce the feet was such a great idea!
I love the fact you pinned a Spider-Man suit to a board like you would a preserved spider lol
Aunt May looks amazing.
The puff paint trick looks really good
Even if you can't see the dimension from afar the texture difference with how the light hits is so worth it
This came out looking awesome.
The last comments are so right about how subtle a change it is but, wow does that really pop in comparison!!
It really does make a huge difference!
Woah that’s so dope it almost looks just like the tobey suit
I have the same one! This will help me make it look so much better!!!
It’s incredible how much better it looks
It looks so much better now great job!!
A little love and effort into something can make a world of difference!
That extra bit of detail makes it really unique and cool
You can absolutely tell the difference, it looks amazing! ❤
She has got the figure to set off that suit! Freaking awesome !
It looks better than before.
It's all in the details and I love it
it's not a subtle update, it looks sooo much better than the original!
Very talented on a budget , awesome
some shading and that mask shell and my dude you have a proposal grade costume
I never really thought of it this way !
appreciate the DIY
Thanks! I need to print a face shell just haven’t gotten around to it 😊
The commitment 🤌
That shoe thing is a really good idea
Awesome!! Love the design ❤️
Looks amazing! It'd even look good just leaving the lines black.
Very nice i love it 🙃
Thank you! 😊
Dust mask as a substitute, never thought of that. Nice job!
GO BILLS!❤️💙🤍
Its so much better, the details are everything!
Sometimes the subtle touches are the best ones, looks awesome
Thank you so much! 🙏❤️
Looks much better!! 🎉
You are way more patient and artsy-craftsy than I am. It's great that you have a hobby that you love so much. It really shows in your work
Legitimately Aunt May from the newer spider man movies 😂
Peter Parker when his suit tears and he knows there’s cheap knockoffs on Amazon:
You now look like aunt may with it onn😂
Making the spider shiny would improve it even more IMO. You cam get metallic black paint, but even a simple satin or gloss varnish would do the trick, I think.
that's a good custom diy idea
It looks so much better even with a few other touches
Thanks so much! 🙏❤️
You are so good at this
It’s the little things that make the difference 🙌🏽
If you’re not paying in money, you’re paying in time.
I love the Spiderman/girl costumes bc anyone can wear them w/o great if being judged
seems like a project that look better in person
That’s cool
Thanks!
Her voice makes it sound like a news program
It's a noticeable upgrade, for sure!!
Why does it remind me the way of how the costumekid made his Spider-Man costume
kudos !
I I actually watched the entire video even though I dislike everything having to do with comic books
Thank you! ❤️💙
that one sexy spider lady really made a masterwork of art but miss gloves make them less loose redo the gloves and add under lay of velcro to make them less loose
You look so much like my aunty, it made me cry. She was beautiful. I really miss her ❤
