I am a Nikon user too, with a D500, D750, D810 & Z5.the D500 like your D7500 is a crop sensor(APSC) camera 1.5 crop to that of a full frame camera (35mm) yours i a good camera. i learned on the predecessor, the D7200 I have a 1 year old lens you can have if you like. I no longer use it. essentially new. a afs- 17-50 f2.8. a wide angle. Enjoying your content

Liverpool is great the Isle of Man ferry sails from there,I think you’d like it there. The thing with cameras is,some of my best photos were taken with rubbish cameras,it’s all about finding the shot and composition.Good to see you again.Regards Dave

But then we mainly only saw your knees as you pushed those lock gates open and closed. 😂 I am pleased that you have settled into life on land and you are entering college soon. A word about camera settings: Yes, it is cool that a DSLR has thousands of settings, but over 80% of your photos will be in normal conditions. Keep the settings for low light, or fast moving or anything tricky. Other than that: Trust the automatic setting. As long as you shoot in raw and have Photoshop Lightroom, this is where the heavy lifting of your work is

WOW 16 and off to collage! That's pretty awesome, here most students don't graduate high school until they are 18. You started out years ago as a competent photodog with great composition skills and you improved over the years so I think you will do really well with photography classes
