I worked in bird rescue so it gets me even more, but when a person is confronted with the fact that the animals need to be given to a rescue and that person says how much they cost that is a direct proof animals need to be taken away right that moment. For those people animals are just a thing with a price tag, nothing more. He will never improve their care and he does not care about them to begin with, to him those animals are not alive.
I always feel bad for the low rankin ones, they have to wait for food n treats. By the time the higher ones gets done gorgin there's hardly if anything left for them. It's almost like bein n school, if your family had money you were popular. If they didn't have money you were considered a nobody
I love this show but I’m going to be honest. No wild animal should be a pet. However, not one animal activist will be satisfied with the living conditions. Doesn’t matter if the have an entire home to themselves and is living in perfect conditions. They will find a loophole to remove said animal and put it in a sanctuary somewhere. If it’s done right, especially with TH-cam and Instagram at your disposal, it can be a very lucrative career. Funny how it’s always white American women. I know Alison says she’s British but she’s from California 🙄 and still keeps her accent. She just says vitamin wrong. 🤣
Humans, people who are so selfish and greedy hurt my heart. The suffering they can inflict on animals is staggering. We see the tiniest drop in the ocean here. They are truly the lucky few that get a chance to have their suffering ended here at Monkey World. What a gift of life and love they are given here by this generous, amazing and loving staff. Thank you for sharing and making the world aware.

Please don't engage with YT content that uses infant primates for views.
Dressing them in clothing and forcing them to interact with dogs, cats chickens etc.
These infants are stolen from their mothers and sold...only to live short lives away from their own kind.
Even if these videos are voted DOWN it still pushes them UP in the algorithm.
So please ignore this type of animal exploitation?
I'm not referring to rescue channels that raise money on YT...Some are better than others in that genre.
I'm referring to channels that buy or steal infants from the wild.

People who keep any animal living in such nasty, unhealthy conditions and the animals are in such shape as these three are, or were, should be fined and have to do some jail time. There is absolutely no excuse except laziness for keeping them like that. This should be classified as animal abuse, animal cruelty and animal neglect. Regardless if the animals are wild or domesticated. Such a shame, this made me cry.
I've been binge watching every season and may have watched a few twice in the past few days. Lol I'm seriously invested now and the animal rescuer in me wants to go there and spend my life helping these amazing humans ❤️🙏💕

The amount of restraint that women had while talking to the neglected owner was amazing!!
It was the right thing to do as the goal was to save the animals. The owner you could tell suffers from an illness & meant no harm. Hope he gets the help he needs.

This show is wanderfull and teachs that wild animals are not
for inside homes.
Even individuals that do an exceptional job caring for exotic animals like monkeys, I have a difficult time seeing how it’s justified to keep an exotic animal as a pet when it is capable of being in a natural environment. There are cases when animals are kept with rehab or rescue facilities due to physical conditions that would endanger them to be released. The work this group does to give the animals a life as close to their natural habitats is fantastic.
IF THEY ARE DISGUSTED ON HOW THE ANIMALS ARE LIVING I SURE HOPE THEY GOT CHILD SERVICES INVOLVED FOR THE CHILDREN LIVING THERE. SADLY WHO KNOWS WHEN AND IF THEIR DIAPERS GET CHANGED. 😡

These animals need to be confiscated immediately. I notice the Bearded Dragon had a stuck shed on him, as well....which can be dangerous if not dealt with. And that raccoon just broke my heart. Its not fair to them. The guy said he paid all this money for the animals, but he's not treating them like they are worth that money. I am glad Alison and Jeremy at least saved the Marmosets and the Raccoon. They were definitely the worst...especially poor Clydie. Starved, a broken jaw, a broken tail AND pregnant. I can't imagine how they suffered.
I'm sorry but if you want to own ANY pets, there should be basic licensing involved and proof that you have the means and facilities to properly care for them. There needs to be an emotional assessment involved as some individuals are barely capable to look after themselves or their own children. I don't care if it's just a dog, cat or canary. Owning animals is a privilege not a right. It must never extend to primates.
Anybody else notice Alison's clothing completely changed from her getting ready to go on an emergency rescue to Liverpool & then when she is outside the apartments explaining how bad this neighborhood for the rescue is? Gotta Love deceptive editing. 🤣🤣
Anyone notice how they switch Gordon and Twan around? I've been binge watching this and specifically remember them saying Gordon's eye was hurt by Twan, because he was starting to mature and Twan was getting aggressive because of it. Gordon is the one without the lazy left eye. Twan is the one with the big cheeks.
Safety and welfare of the kids? The kids probably terrorize the poor little marmosets. 😮😢
It's so amazing that these people are so dedicated. I am so impressed by all they do. I can see that these primates are living their best lives due to the experience and wonderful love ❤️ these people have towards them. I truly wish we human would stop destroying their habitats. They were here 1st, and we should respect them more. When are we going to realize this!
This breaks my heart. These people claim to love their monkeys but let them live in filth and don't take proper care of them. When are they going to make it illegal to own monkeys in the UK??

I feel like I am part of the family already.
It's hard to understand when you say you don't have room for a couple more tiny little monkeys. You seem to have such a big place.
Because they don’t have room or staff. These animals need so much individualized care. They are all mostly social creatures, so you can’t just stick a brand new primate into an established group and expect it to be welcomed immediately without violence. Many of these species have very strict dominance and social hierarchies. To make it even harder, many of these rescues are coming from the pet trade and laboratory research, so they have no idea how to be a marmoset, monkey, ape, lemur, etc. They don’t know the language. I think caring for 240 primates as well as they do is a remarkable achievement, but that doesn’t mean they’ve got the funds or space to expand. Just think about how expensive it is to feed everyone, give them proper vet care, maintain all those enclosures, staff to clean and observe, it’s staggering.
Truly devastating how people mistreat animals (and other humans). Children were in that mess as well with feces and trash all around them, just deplorable. The saving grace is that these two marmosets and the racoon have been removed from that intolerable setting. Thank you Monkey World.

I will admit to being very critical towards Allison b/c she has the mind-set that monkeys can’t be pets, & she is wrong in my opinion- being Asian I have seen countless numbers of monkeys raised successfully from newborn baby monkey to death from natural causes, so I know it can be done. However, I will give her credit today for being a wonderful advocate for animals. To my surprise Chino just look out for the primates that were being miss treated, she also made away for the other animals that were being abused and neglected to get freedom from their prison there with that jerk who doesn’t even clean those poor animals’ cages. It was a wonderful success to watch. Thank u Allison!
