Bob screwing around to mess with Mark and accidentally calling the dogs to kill him and Wade is the most karmically satisfying things in the universe right now.
Whoa, this episode was a masterpiece of horror, actually. So cinematic. Start the scene with the death of the previous crew and reincarnation into the current one. Immediately upon entering the facility, *three* coilheaded creatures slowly surround them, cutting off all the exits, and the captain has to watch all of them to keep the other worker safe as he salvages more loot. Giant blob slowly enters the scene, forcing them to run and just barely make it. They got a decent haul, and its getting dark, and they're all set to leave, when the watchman on the ship decides to play with the radio as a joke and alerts the dinodog monsters. The captain doesn't hear anything from his crew on the radio, so he slowly sneaks over, avoiding enemies, but all he finds is carnage, his men slaughtered, blood everywhere. As he is desperately trying to get the ship out of this horrible place, his hand slips off the bloody lever and the creature that killed his friends attacks him from behind and he joins his crew in the afterlife. Mission failed.
With one edit: Actually make the dog chase Mark into the ship, instead of just phasing through it and killing him while clipped through the ship. Or maybe not that sounds kinda funny
@@cherriberri8373i think this would be more dramatic, given the situation mark was in. he goes back to get the last piece of loot, sees a dog rush to the ship and hides. when he looks, not only is the dog nowhere to be found but the ship is completely silent except for static on the bob and wades radios edit: a new clip has been added from bobs pov where one of the three dogs actually gets into the ship
The ending was amazing, Mark noticing that the dog was suddenly out of sight near the entrance repeatedly saying "what?". He notices that therewas just silence with no one else on the radio. Then the pieces fit together and he realizes everyone is dead and he has to flip the switch to get everything they got. All this happens while theres complete silence and suddenly he makes the decision the drop the metal which breaks the silence which is just my favorite part of the video. That metal noise followed by the dog growling and intense music coming on was just straight out of a horror movie. Even while Mark was running into the ship you could see everyone was dead. Amazing content
For me I didn’t even piece together that the boys in the ship were dead, I thought that maybe they went radio silent to help Mark avoid detection. So when Mark sprinted in and I saw their bloodied corpses, that shook me halfway to my core and then Mark got eaten. A horror piece couldn’t be written better than the last 30 seconds of this
Closing the door wouldn't have mattered. It clipped through the ship to kill him in the first place. Also, Bob and Wade had the door shut when they were killed before Mark got there. If this game had even a semblance of actual collision, they would have been fine.

The minutes leading up to 28:00 are so fucking tense. You could not WRITE better shit. The coil heads slowly adding up and closing in while Wade realizes your exits are cut off, then the blob slowly coming into view, culminating in you JUST barely getting out. That was a masterpiece, and leads directly into a different terrifying situation
Mark truly took the captain character type in that moment and that was the most I've seen the walkies used effectively Mark with the literal ten second count

Nah, the most bed-wetting thing was when Mark was heading back and the two were joking about the giant being a thing to watch out for until it did become a real threat when he was at the ship. And they were just joking about it until it became a real thing.

Nah the best play would have been to sit on the catwalk until the ship automatically left. Between not knowing exactly where the dogs are or what the dogs were doing and the encumbrance of the large axle, trying to sneak _into_ the ship was not a good idea.
@@Hevensdragon I agree the catwalk spells doom, but another play Mark could've used is getting on top of the ship, blind dogs can't get you there and when the ship starts leaving you can drop down and get in without them being able to kill you. The scrap gets left behind either way because it was heavy and makes you unable to climb stairs easily. It's also unfortunate Mark didn't know to close the door before leaving, he could've saved the run, that really sucks.
That was more likely the ghost girl/girl in red. If you get “most paranoid employee” a lot (which mark does) she may start to haunt that player and only that player can hear her laugh and say Hi. She rarely appears though since most players end up dying before she shows up (and only the player she haunts can see her).
Truly delighted when you can see the guys be so quick and methodicaly efficient in how they work through situations. The GTFO series also had those moments and loved them, so glad seeing them here too.

Mark just an FYI, dont make ANY sound near the dogs, whispering still counts as a mic trigger, forest guardians (giants) and dogs also spawn after 4:00 pm so you probably should immediately leave the ship as soon as you arrive and leave once it turns 4:00
Leaving as soon as it gets late afternoon is only ideal for brand new players who don't know how to deal with outdoor threats. It's a horrible waste of time though, so they're better off learning how to avoid dogs and giants. It's generally worth it as long as 1 person stays in the ship when it gets late so you don't lose your loot if it doesn't go well.

Dang, how far they came... In ep1, Mark came up with the company song, Bob often joined in enthusiastically, & Wade (the most experienced) was the first to stop singing it (eventually singing it again out of grief that one time). Now, Wade is dancing & rapping a rebooted version of the company anthem while Bob & especially Mark aren't having it. That is crazy character development right there. Also, that ending was straight out of a horror movie. Good job editors with setting the scene.

Mark just an FYI, dont make ANY sound near the dogs, whispering still counts as a mic trigger, forest guardians (giants) and dogs also spawn after 4:00 pm so you probably should immediately leave the ship as soon as you arrive and leave once it turns 4:00
Leaving as soon as it gets late afternoon is only ideal for brand new players who don't know how to deal with outdoor threats. It's a horrible waste of time though, so they're better off learning how to avoid dogs and giants. It's generally worth it as long as 1 person stays in the ship when it gets late so you don't lose your loot if it doesn't go well.

In ep1, Mark came up with the company song, Bob often joined in enthusiastically, & Wade (the most experienced) was the first to stop singing it (eventually singing it again out of grief that one time).
Now, Wade is dancing & rapping a rebooted version of the company anthem while Bob & especially Mark aren't having it. That is crazy character development right there.
Also, that ending was straight out of a horror movie. Good job editors with setting the scene.

It is indeed a bracken sound, it's EXTREMELY rare, I've never heard it myself in game, but have heard it in many many video clips.
I was hoping Mark mentioned that noise to Wade. Not going to lie that sound literally had me starting to tense up cause not knowing what to expect after hearing it.
I love how the "We Love the Company" song never got any more refined, there was a first draft and they stuck to it

9:42 This whole section gave me so much anxiety. Wade and Bob simply vanished and Mark had to get in, alone with no lights. And then there was that laughter that I never heard before in the game and i was just " Wtf is that nononono!!"
And worse the laugh is from the Bracken when you dont see him. So he WAS there just watching, which terrifies me so much
