I’ve loved Soundgarden and Temple Of The Dog for several decades. Sadly, Audioslave never quite did it for me. It’s only recently I’ve gotten into Chris’ solo stuff. I’m 52 now and I thought I was long past hero worship, but I have to say that I am not past it where Chris is concerned. The fact that he is gone has haunted me since I got the news so many years ago. I would have loved to know him and had a conversation with him. Not enough guys are so thoughtful and genuinely expressive as Chris was.
Me neither, when talking about the band Audioslave.
Chris Cornell is something different in every interview.
He was so damn hot!!!! What a pitty he wont give us more of his spectacular voice.
Damn, give this guy a simple question and he'll give you a beautifully complicated and thoughtful and thought provoking and wonderful answer....what an intelligent man this beautiful human was...
I wish I could have gotten the chance to see him live. I loved Soundgarden, Audioslave was my generation and I absolutely LOVED Audioslave.
He was best friends with my favorite front man Chester...you know this guy had to be a kind guy, care about and doing something about child trafficking and what was going on in the environment...I total opposite to most of the Front men in huge ass bands.
Oh man and that face....❤ piercing beautiful eyes probably the prettiest eyes I've ever seen on anyone. What are they blue? Green?? FUCKIN GORGEOUS?!?! Is gorgeous a color?!?

Having a mind like that is a double edged sword. You see life in the most glorious way possible. But at the same time, you see all the bullshit, fake shit, and people believing in what they're fed by stupid people up high that it makes you sad, angry, and depressed because no matter how much good you try to introduce you can't help everyone see life in clarity. I feel for this man. I understand this man. And I love this man.
@@Winsociety Yes, you’re right on with your comment. Was listening to these interviews, understanding and resonating with every bit of what he was saying, realizing we think very similarly. I even thought to myself, that right there is what took him out. I totally get it and know how his mind could take him to that place. It’s rough.
I'm still more than 90% sure Kurt was murdered, but right on man.
His music, raw talent, was unprecedented. It seemed so many of these Interviewers would ask Chris questions that they couldn't even begin to connect or understand the intellectual answers he gave that were so deep. Most didn't listen and still don't. He spoke of so much but it was like nobody listened😔 He was wise, real, and is missed 💕

He has not had to see what this world has come to. He didn't have to witness Trump in office or Covid and how humans have behaved around it. He shared himself and his feelings with us. Chris Cornell had a great sense of humor, he look like a great father and a devoted husband. I never had the experience to see him live. When he stepped out on stage with Linkin Park to singing Crawling is amazing. His voice was a gift from the Gods and Chris gave it his all. He never took his voice for granted instead Chris pushed his vocals to the limit. I remember TOTD Hunger Strike and then when I saw the video, I was like “Who is the wild guy?” Putting a face to the voice on the CD was like, WOW! When he did the theme to Casino Royal, I remember thinking, I know that voice I need that song. It was so crazy, I would rewind the movie just to hear the song over and over again. Then the Rock & Roll Hall a fame inducted Heart and when Chris Cornell came out as presenter I was like YESsssss!!! To hear he took his own life was shocking and sad. I feel for his children so young and his wife must know she was envy being married to one of the sexiest man alive and in rock and roll. It must be hard to loose your husband that way. I listen to Chris Cornell always and sing karaoke to his song, very therapeutic. Great comp of interviews. Wisdom. I hope he has found peace, RIP Chris Cornell...

I loved this interview just so happened he put Prince in the spotlight as one of the best ... in so many words, at the very END of this video- so cool! I'm a huge Prince fan so this was endearing. I know Chris felt it hard when Prince died. He honored Prince acoustically and it was very emotive. Sad both have left this earth ...

I love Soundgarden and audioslave. I sang like a stone to my kids when I'd rock them as babies. Kind of a strange lullaby lol but it was the only song that would pop in my head that i knew all the words to.
I found audioslave as a 13 year old girl. I think it was the first high qual band I found and loved on my own and opened the doorway for me into this world.

Audioslave's debut album was the first CD i ever bought. They inspired me to pick up the guitar and to explore rock. He died on my birthday. Ugh it still hurts me so much.

In every interview Chris blows away the control and makes the interviewers realize how foolish their pre scripted questions really are. In the purest sense his genius and talent outshine any pre conceived notions of what they presumed he was like. The anecdote about his 5th birthday and man landing on the moon is funny and cleverly explained in such simplicity. Brilliant command of the new normal. Very Marshall Mcclewand and Noam Chomsky i.e.checkmate being his modus operandi.
A humane human & a great musician. He is missed by many.💗

I really like Chris Cornell. Soundgarden and Audioslave are two bands I really like. Knowing that Chris is gone still hurts. Same with Chester Bennington. Two artists I can think of immediately that I don't want to be gone.

I couldn't stand Soundgarden in the 90's, but my friends worshipped them. I did eventually love Fell on Black Days, but most of his stuff too heavy and dark for me. But after his suicide I've been intrigued with Chris, respect his music more, see its truth. I guess I'm fascinated by someone SO adored by so many, and who also seems so brilliantly grounded in spiritual truth could commit suicide. Of all the young rock star death, HIS baffles me the most. ?????? such a true soul....WTF?
