There is nothing special about a gildan shirt or hoodie. A gildan t shirt is like 7 bucks and the hoodie is like 15-20. A better hanes, basically but still trash. The reason is expensive is due to the print. For instance, my like of pablo shirt is gildan, and looks straight ass. It was 75 bucks because it says Kanye on it lol

A lot of companies have a similar business model. Chanel is a very well known brand worth billions, however, the clothes which are worth thousand and thousands only make up a tiny percentage of the companies source of income. They actually make up large amounts of money from their perfume range due to the prestige associated with the expensive clothesyet moderate expense perfume. Basically, if people associate something with a certain rarity/prestige, something being the brand not the object, they are more likely to spend more money than its actually worth.
Yo they only say sold out cause they open up stock on their release and take all orders until a certain time and everything becomes sold out after that cut off time.
