- Late May, early June is prime time for the Scandinavian fly fisherman. That's when the big mayfly Ephemera danica hatches (Green Drake). And they really trigger the fish. Filmed mainly in the Norrby Stream: www.norrbystrommen.se/

Been following this channel for a while, love ever bit of it. Now planning a trip to Selbu, to fish the River Nea, what is your opinion on this river for fly fishing?
Thanks Michal. Appreciate it :) I haven't been fishing in that region at all so I can't say much about it really. It looks nice and there are some big fish in the river. I would actually try to find some advice from the locals, especially when it comes to the insects in the area. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hope you get a good trip. Cheers

Long time since I viewed your videos and can still say you have the best out there.
If you could I would appreciate knowing if you use Vosseler fly reels when dry fly fishing ,and if so which is your preferred model ? Would it be a 3/4 weight ?

Thanks Paul. Glad you enjoy the videos :) I certainly use Vosseler reels for dry fly fishing, 3/4 weight as you suggest. I like the Passion reel. So far I've used the aluminium model but this year we will try the carbon model. Stay tuned for that. I also use the Tryst reel for dry fly fishing. Cheers

That's an old Swedish reel from a brand called Strömsländan. Cheers
