    This was so relaxing, like painting with Bob Ross. Also made me aware of some things I never thought of like bringing up the darks for distant parts to make it realistic. I'll have to try that on my next edit.

    I was just looking at one of my recent photos which is bright in the foreground and dark in the background and couldn't come up with a good answer for how to fix it. I'll try again now that I've seen these tips.

      @@WilliamPatinoPhotographylooking at that photo again, the tonal difference between foreground and background is too high to fix. More importantly, it's a bad composition. The foreground does not connect with the background at all despite thinking it would be brilliant when itook the photo. Oh well, that happens sometimes but I have you video saved in my photo tips playlist and look guest's to using it. Thanks for the great tips.

    Thanks it's a good video! When you brighten up dark parts, don't you also get problems with noise? I often come across this problem, denoise may help a bit of course, just depends on how much you brighten up

    • @WilliamPatinoPhotography
      @WilliamPatinoPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks. Depends on the camera, iso and amount of shadow recovery you do. Definitely older camera models will struggle more, but anything made in the last 5 years will generally have a good enough dynamic range to reveal the details with minimal noise. That’s also why you want to come in with a file not too underexposed. Cheers :)
