This song has so much meaning for me.
I met my second husband D when I was 29. We had both been so broken, me surviving an abusive relationship of 10 years, loosing my daughter to cancer when she was six, him with a horrible childhood, alchol and drug abuse. This song became our mantra, it made us so grateful and aware of what we found in each other. It was the song our first dance when we got married, it was our expression to each other and the basis of our life. When my husband was dying on that last fateful day, everyone that loved him was in the room all had their hands on my love while I held him in my arms as he left this world. To this day it is still my mantra. I have been blessed to have found new love, something that I thought would never happen again. When times get tough I say what is the worst thing that can happen? We loose our house so what, its jus a house as long as we are together we are fine. There is life and love on the otherside.
This is my hope for you Mr Depp, you have a good soul remember we all get broken in this life, we dont stay that way, we survive. Can't wait to see what you do next, music, art, cinema you are a born entertainer and now you are free.

My Ex has Tourrettes Syndrome and whenever the ticks got out of control and affected his acting and lines. Johnny was the first to assist in calming his anxiety down and the Tourrettes so he could continue filming. Gave him great support and advice. Such a loving soul. ❤ I got to hear first hand.. how he was as a person. Forever greatful for all he did for my Ex. Good souls they both are.

I must say a real endeavor between two friends that just knocks everyone out of breath watching the art and respect that they put into the song for each other.
I’m obsessed with his version of this song . When he gets that growl in his voice toward the end I melt . My husband and I love him so very much . He’s made us laugh us for years , he’s entertained us and touched our hearts . We never doubted him and will always support him in any and all of his endeavors. We’re so sad for all he’s been through and wish him peace light going forth.

I love the raw sound of Johnny on this song. I think it is great ! It conveys someone deep inside with love groaning that we can relate to. Not all singers could pull this off.
He's a real tortured soul and I think he's cool cause he's to trying to handle it the best he can and that's not easy at all with all the pressure. Singing and sharing his emotions helps him. I hope he'll be fine and well surrounded by people who take care of him(his children more than ever of course!).
