This show has made Kanan one of my favorite SW characters. His growth throughout the series from an insecure former Padawan to an accomplished Jedi Knight who sacrificed himself for his family is beautiful. And Freddie Prince Jr’s voice acting really was perfect for the character!
I agree I think Kanan is probably one of the more relatable Jedi given he never officially finished his Jedi training and he’s taken on an apprentice and deals with understandable insecurities with it.
I agree with you 💯!!! Kanan is an incredible and well-developed character with so much to teach the characters as well as the audience. He is my favorite.
I agree. Kanan and Ezra basically show us what anakin could of been if the jedi order let their members form attachments and a strong family bond. It didn't make them turn to the dark side like the order always believed. But a new way and reasons to keep going. Kanan at first tried to hold on to the old ways. But I really believe when Ezra spoke to him about how he made him a better person not just a warrior. That was Kanan's turning point in the series and knew that their paths were different than the old ways of the order.
Im always amazed at how much love this people put on those characters. For me this is the thing that made this show and the clone wars more star wars even than the movies. The pasion that is put on this is rarely seen in most star wars things
This video made me look at Rebels in a new way. When I watched it first, I often discounted the main cast in favor of the EU characters like Ashoka and Thrawn. Now I can see their struggles in a new light, and it’s making me appreciate this show so much more.
I really hope at the next Celebration we get the announcement of a Disney+ animated series following the story of Ahsoka and Sabine exploring wild space to find Ezra
Well they're still just rumors but here ya go! Hoping it's all true! comicyears.com/tv-shows/rumour-disney-developing-an-ahsoka-tano-live-action-series-after-the-mandalorian-appearance/
Ahsoka should be in the next season (or season 3) of The Mandalorian and some people are speculating that Sabine might show up too. It'd make sense with the final scene of the season finale.
@@alexh4319 I respectfully disagree. You had great moments in Season 1 of clone wars: Rookies, Malevolence arc, Lair of Grievous, Jedi Crash arc, and The Ryloth arc. Rebels didn't really get good until Ashoka showed up
@@GoldeneyeDoubleO7 I don't understand people's love for Ahsoka. The Ghost crew are amazing, full of personalty, full of charm and it's great fun watching them. Ahsoka meanwhile is bland with no personality. I don't get why she's so popular.
The Ahsoka show is like throwing all of our favorite charectors in a room and giving Dave Filoni a gun. Has he made a show without a devistating loss? Not that I can think of.
4:05- so, NOT like Rey. I don't care what the haters say, this is why I really like Ezra's story! The odd thing is that the haters hate on Rey for getting power too fast and hate on Ezra for having to work through too much (including but not limited to being a kid when he started the journey).
The last 3 episodes were just the test that Ezra had to face and finally realise the strength of a character he needs to build to save his home and his family. Sabine would have been much more worthy than bo katan as weilder of dark saber.
Bo: Terrorist. Enemy of the Republic. Responsible for innocent deaths. Maul: Hey Bo: Ahsoka, I don't like him. Ahsoka: Me neither, let's fuck him up. Done. Okay, planet's yours. Bo: Thanks Bo: Having some trouble. Sabine: My family can help you out with that. Done. Oh, planet's yours. Bo: Thanks Bo: Hey uh, getting tired of this. Despite the fact that you want to make us go extinct, I'm trusting you and we're laying down our arms. Moff Gideon: Lol, you thought wrong dude. *Bombs planet* Bo: That hurt my feelings, but I'll try getting my sword back. Din: Yeah not so much. A heads up probably would've helped. Sup? Bo: Well, everyone left me because I lost a sword, and I'm alone and depressed. I gave up. Din: Whatever, here save my ass for a second. Bo: Okay, sword's mine. Din: All right, now shut the fuck up, let's get our friends together and take back the planet. Bo: I'll make it up to you guys now, I promise. Armorer: You are undeserving, inadequate, and the one time you went soft, you did so at the worst possible time leading to our near obliteration. So... you are a worthy leader.
As much as I love Dave, a lot of people didn’t know that George Lucas basically took over The Clone Wars during season one. From that point on he was the deciding factor on everything. “Let’s have an episode for the backstory of Domino Squad”, “Let’s put Chewbacca in this episode”, “Lets bring Maul back”. That was all George. I always felt like something I’m Rebels was off. There was something massive was missing and I never thought that Rebels worked. Maybe it was because George was gone I dunno I just didn’t like Rebels while I loved Clone Wars.
MrCoolSmooothvie I disagree! The best Clone Wars arc by far was The Siege Of Mandalore. Directed & written by Mr Filoni. It was so good that it rivals Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope.
It's sad because you can imagine what Rebels could have been, and there were a lot of good ideas, but in the end its a subpar forgettable show that feels like it's made for kids which is odd considering it deals with terorism and civil war meaning it should be more mature. . But alas, it's not.

And he got off to a good start considering the moment I saw him I pegged him as the new canon incarnation of Kyle Katarn.

Ahsoka show basically Sabine and Ahsoka adventures and I totally can't wait. What a time to be alive.

That last sketch you can totally see Filoni’s avatar style is still with him
Hell yeah.

Everyone hated Ashoka at first as well. And Anikin
I really hope at the next Celebration we get the announcement of a Disney+ animated series following the story of Ahsoka and Sabine exploring wild space to find Ezra
Starkiller100 hopefully it has better animation
So have you heard the rumors yet?
Lauren Hazlett Please share!

This makes me so unbelievably excited for the Ahsoka series :)
Sam Witwer using Darth Maul to make Ezra become Starkiller is pretty funny.
Its really cool how so many characters are designed to look after their voice actors
Man, now I wanna go back and watch this
This show was and is so beautiful!
While Rebels was never really reached the levels of Clone Wars, it's still a good show.
I actually think that it is strong where clone wars is weak and vice versa. They complement each other perfectly.
I thought Rebels had a much stronger beginning than Clone Wars(which had a pretty rocky start).
@@alexh4319 I respectfully disagree. You had great moments in Season 1 of clone wars: Rookies, Malevolence arc, Lair of Grievous, Jedi Crash arc, and The Ryloth arc. Rebels didn't really get good until Ashoka showed up
I think while clone wars had rare bad episodes (like with jar jar) it was mostly great while rebels were mostly bad with some rare good episodes

can't wait for the continuation of the story with Sabine and Ahsoka!
And ezra
18:18 "and use the weapon for good"
*gives it to bo katan*
That ending scene with Sabine, Ahsoka and the painting was perfect.
I cried when Kanan died. I loved rebels, one of the best animated tv shows of all time
😂🤦♂️
Jye Taylor go on
Captain Braviary Rebels was mediocre at best. “One if the best animated shows of all time” how old are you?
Jye Taylor 9
Captain Braviary never mind it all makes sense now
The Ahsoka show is like throwing all of our favorite charectors in a room and giving Dave Filoni a gun. Has he made a show without a devistating loss? Not that I can think of.
i was today years old when i found out that kanan and hera weren't already married
Man I cant wait for the Ahsoka-Sabine show. I'm looking so so forward to it. (If there even will be one 😭 I hope so)
6:02- 6:10 Kanan loves Ezra!! I’VE GOT BUTTERFLIES I LOVE THESE TWO TOGETHER!!!
Thank you for posting this!
"Jacen Syndulla
is nod the the EU fans that liked Jacen Solo" Dang....not what I wanted, but I guess it's something
you can watch all the seasons on kisscartoon...
Dave Filoni you are awesome!
Thanks for video Anderson
20:49 “Cause that’s what FRIENDS do...”
Yeah...sure...whatever you say...😏
I find that interesting. Okay Dave, Okay

9:12, haha look at Ezra's face 😂

❤
what episode was that line of hera and kanan's about who chose who as their partner?
If this wasn’t limited by the fact that it was a kids show, it could have been much better
i like this show, don't get me wrong it's no clone wars, but i like it, but i will never like zeb tbh.
philip a dog I think he is good
karrabast
FIRST THERE SHOULB BE AN AHSOKA STORY, THEN THE FINDING EZRA STROY. LIKE THEY SHOULD PUT IT ON DISNEY XD & DISNEY+
Am I the only one who's sad they never vent for the ezra and sabine love story?
i love Dave but does he have to be a penguins fan
I hated Ezra the whole series. He never became a great character like Ahsoka did in Clone Wars.
maybe you saw yourself reflected on him
I disagree. I grew to like him by season 3 and 4

I like the show, but I still think Rukh is the most disapointing character brought in the show.
Rebels is probably very good but the thing that makes me not watch is the art style.
It’s not trust me, there are some good episodes and I enjoyed them but as a whole the shows pointless
@Kevin Bjork yeah true, it should have had the clone wars art style and had stories that didn't involve the empire
It's sad because you can imagine what Rebels could have been, and there were a lot of good ideas, but in the end its a subpar forgettable show that feels like it's made for kids which is odd considering it deals with terorism and civil war meaning it should be more mature. . But alas, it's not.
Idk man... it was pretty memorable for me
I felt the ending was beautifully perfect
Agreed rebels is my favorite cartoon and i love the characters.
i hate all these characters 😭
