    People wonder why we have not found intelligent life? Look at how detrimental the Universe is for life like conditions.
    Then look at the insane distances to travel to other stars.
    Then look at the one fact nobody is talking about. Like one scientist said, “at some point a highly advanced civilization would turn inward.” Why would they need to keep exploring the Universe when they can create anything they want themselves?

  • @stevescott5390
    @stevescott5390 หลายเดือนก่อน +17

    First of all, we don't know what's the largest star (Sun) in the universe because we can only see so far because the light hasn't traveled to our Earth yet from wherever that object is at in the universe. The title should say the observable universe because we have no idea what's past that part. It's the largest star that we know of but I highly doubt it's the largest in the universe...

    Does no one else think it’s weird that we basically created these so called “laws” about what we think we understand and then basically go around saying “nope that can’t be possible because a law we created having basically understanding so little about the vast universe says so” I mean some laws are obvious like we know the gravity on earth etc etc, but what makes us think we can apply the same logic we use for our little corner of the universe to the rest. I love science I just always found that funny wondering if anyone else did too.

    • @FREEofVEGETABLES
      @FREEofVEGETABLES หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Even the law of universal gravitation is technically incorrect beyond it being an effective approximation of relativity in less exotic scenarios. Describing gravity as a force is generally at odds with our current precise understanding of gravity. So you could argue that the law of gravitation is more so a useful tool for us rather than a true statement of the state of the universe. It’s just something that is emergent from our observations. At least without getting too philosophical about it.
      Once something contradicts a scientific law, generally that means there’s something wrong with the observation or something wrong about the law. Particularly with astrophysics, things do be breaking hypothetical rules all the time. We just don’t have a good grasp on what’s actually going on in space

    the hollywood sign thing is silly, the earth and a basketball are both spherical.
    rhe hollywood sign is... related to a sphere in no way, shape or form.
    why even use that? next time find something ball shaped when you're comparing ball shaped objects.
    it didn't work visually either with the circle of the sun next to a giant rectangular sign.
    how about go with earth as a golf ball and the sun as a basketball.
    or a pea and a peach... anything but the damn hollywood sign. really?
    again, make it make sense.

      @@nataliealice05 during my DMT trip there was a different kind of seeing. I flew out of my body and felt the entire universe in a way that i could see feel smell it all at once but it was so different than reality. There is a sort of floating feeling that u get during a dream, but more basic. I first saw bright straight yellowish white light going into it and then i was in a black open universe where i was able to see through feeling and hear through smell. Imagine being conscious after life and then falling into the sun or even leaving the earth forever stuck in the void of darkness. Both scenarios scare me.
