This game is just an excellent game, especially at 2 players. Control becomes more challenging at higher player counts, but yes, this is a fast, fun game.
Nice video Jamey, Consipracy seems like a fun game, I should try it sometime! Oceans has a simpler version of the card draw, here when choosing Deep cards (very powerful, but usually niche traits for your species) you can either pick a card from the faceup market or draw three cards, pick one and add the other two to the market. Drawing more cards is often great, but gives agonizing decisions (do you pick the card that suits you best or one your opponent absolutely cannot have). Great game!
Discovered this on BGA as well and really like it. I tend to really go for keys, love getting locations. The mechanism reminds me of the Euphoria artifacts where two of the same or 3 of any is what you are aiming for.
I was a big fan of the regular Abyss, but Conspiracy basically replaced it for me and my gaming groups. Also hunted down a purple copy of the game, since it's clearly the most superior one ;)
I love this game, it is my most played game of 2020! An excellent, easy point salad game full of interesting choices. Really looking forward to seeing what they will do with the upcoming expansion. I can't imagine what they will ad, but possibly more cards in the deck with abilities and enough of them to make the game playable with five, even though it's a real table hog for its size already!

It's mini Abyss for those that hate maths. Though BGA does the maths for us which is nice.
