At 3:59, can someone tell me why 7 is the minimum value instead of 2?
The minimum or maximum value of a quadratic function is always the Y-coordinate of the vertex, not the X-coordinate. In this example, the vertex is (2, 7), so the minimum value is 7. The X-coordinate (2) tells us where this minimum occurs, but the actual minimum value is the Y-coordinate, which is 7.
