I really wish Mike would let Chester do more with his voice. The end of Robot Boy was a good example. Chester never did stuff like that with LP before.
I love how Dean stated....he didn't have to do this man, I am GRATEFULL!.......says it all, Chester is a great fit for these guys, his enthusiasm is off the wall and Dean is right, he didn't have to do this at all! L.P. sells out shows all day long and Chester is already a very busy man. so as another S.T.P. fan, I also want to thank Chester for giving us all the experience of a new S.T.P. and for also giving the surviving members another shot at their dreams they had snatched from them by a nasty drug habbit, that got ahold of their fallen comrade. I respect Scott, ive been addicted to some nasty stuff before, its sooo hard to shake, even more so when your already feeling down. but the best thing for him is to just let it go and find his inner peace to finally get the help he needs. who knows? I see an epic S.T.P. reunion tour......with L.P and S.T.P rockin out together! and separately of course; so for all the haters...ease up a lilbit man, this is a GOOD thing.
Who knew it was just a long lasting manic high and Chester was always so busy he knew and said so himself in one of his last Linkin Park interviews that he kept himself busy and out there until he broke his foot or something and it forced him to slow down and brought out that bad, polar opposite depression he feared the hell of and ran from knowing it was a bad neighborhood in his head when he got that way. Would lead back to his substance abuse. But it took him down. He knew it and was scared of how he got in that frame of mind for a reason. I just wish he found Jesus to hang onto and ride those waves of discomfort with, got properly medicated so he didn't feel so alone he killed himself. RIP both Chester and Scott.
@@lauramalizia9636 Chester did 'find Jesus', he was a devout Christian and prayed every day; he was also medicated for his depression, however he quit his meds a few months before his death. In addition, he also was open about his struggles, took care of himself, was in therapy, did sports... he did everything mentally ill people are told to do so they'd get better. But, the sad truth is that sometimes that's not enough. You can try your best and still fall prey to depression, it's a horrible disease that can take down even the strongest of people.
Chester thinks you legendary, he means it. 10 years later, you just say the word and he’s there day 1. Even if he has to juggle a million things at once to do it. He can take it.
@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid Mike is underrated, but he doesn't act like he feels that at all and I think it had all to do with Chester really being there for him for more than 17 years. And people in the music industry DO feel very hurt when they don't feel appreciated, like for example Birdman in this interview: th-cam.com/video/4jLT7GQYNhI/w-d-xo.html
Listening to this is sureal i guess we know how he feels about them having to replace scott , so now LP has to move on he would be ok with them moving on. Where did this Chêster go , we will always miss you and hỏnor your memory .
those linkin park guys have way too many side projects... mikes' got fort minor and now chesters' the new singer of this band... how will LP go on.. not that I'm complaining because i like thins and fort minor better than LP
Oh fuckin please. I don’t advocate substance use, but Scott netted this band about half its fortune. Rob DeLeo basically did the other. One thing Scott did that Chester nor Jeff nor the DeLeos or Eric know how to do is selling the songs. You can’t teach stage presence, charisma. I understand he struggled with addiction-I as well. But when you’re involved with something bigger than yourself, you gotta keep moving until you crash. This is the vice in which Scott found himself. He was the 20/20 for a band that really had no visibility without him. And that’s how it goes.
I Think Chester Should Take On More STP Roles An Make LP A Once In A While Thing Cause Damn Has Anyone Heard The New LP Album Its HORRIBLE An I Like Him With STP
He doesn't care about the lyrics when listening. There's a reason Linkin park is big. Read the lyrics for any song of theirs. He's very narcissistic when writing lyrics
As A Young Kid When Core An Purple Came Out I Didn't Know All The Lyrics It Was The Sound Or Riff That Would Make Me Listen To A Song An Then I'd Start To Get The Lyrics Down
this dont work this isnt stp they shouldve changed the name and started a whole new project and left stp in the past. foo fighters dont play nirvana songs. you cant change the singer it just dont work. ever.
Chester was extremly creative , a real artist ! And best rocksinger in the world, and so funny, compassionate and humble
I love Chesters smile, voice and personality . You never been forgotten
Thanks for the kind words, Tune Monster! STP with Chester is a unique experience.
i love Chester Bennington's enthusiasm,_thanks for showing the whole interview. seems like they found a good match, that's really cool.
I really wish Mike would let Chester do more with his voice. The end of Robot Boy was a good example. Chester never did stuff like that with LP before.
This is a gem of an interview.
Appreciate the thoughts, which is why we released the WHOLE interview this time.
They seem to be very close... I can feel all the respect they have for each other... It's great !
And they seem so comfortable together, I could watch these guys forever!
6:56 miss that chaz, Where'd you go I miss you so seems like it's been forever that you've been gone please comeback home

Who knew what the future held for both Scott and Chester ☹ I hope there was an epic STP reunion in heaven ❤

@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid suicide is a demon. Not a mental illness.
@@lauramalizia9636 mental illness leads to suicide though
Artisan News is a great interviewer, this was all meat, zero fluff.
Vocals aside, The Brothers are a riff machine. Chester is doin great. The Ep is Great!

21:33 - 22:04 I know I’m being unprofessional, but I’d risk it all for Chester.
Chester Bennington ♾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It sucks to know that Scott, Chris and Chester are all dead.. what the fuck it feels so unreal

Jersey!!!
un, this worked out.....?
Dean seems a bit strung out in this interview. Is it just me?
Either that or tired.
you guys been showin clips from this interview for months now. enough. stop dragging it out. stp is a club band at most now... big deal

Tell that to AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, VH & Deep Purple.
all those bands suck too
digitaldave70
AC/DC is the only band that made it work.
yes
I guess we are wondering the same about the futur of Linkin Park ...☹
A lot of lizard in that guy
no Chester... you are not.
