Believe it or not, most popular singers actually use some sort of vocal tuning when producing the vocals, even the slightest mistake (usually vibrato, loudness and timings) that usually can't be heard are tuned to perfection so that when it comes to mastering/mixing the track, it won't sound bad.
You'll know the difference of "auto tune" and manual vocal tuning since when you use an auto tune plugin it'll literally tune your vocals to the key you assign perfectly depending on the speed you assign (faster=more robotic, slower=more natural) on the other hand when manually vocal tuning a voice, you'll have more control, meaning you will be able to adjust the vibrato of your voice and it's loudness (this is what producers usually do to popular singers) and it will not sound robotic (unless you want to).
As for the singer in the video, I believe he recorded his vocals on an isolated/damp area where noise is less abundant and turned up his mic/mixer's compressor to around 45%-60% to reduce clipping and the loudness will be more constant (to make it seem that he has perfect loudness control, which is acceptable).
