    Even though i dont own a harley, i would love to. Gotta love rockford fosgate. Your guys make such good products that it's insane. It all started with dual t012 subwoofers that i have in my bmw e90, now im upgrading my door speakers from the factory 4 inch to rockford fosgate t2 5.25 component speakers and paring all 4 speakers with a t-600 amp. Even though your products are a bit expensive the overall quality justifys it alot. Everyone says go JL audio i ALWAYS SAY go rockford fosgate, in my opinion better pricing and better quality by far 👌. Ty for the great products i will ONLY BUY ROCKFORD when it comes to car audio 😀. Ill be first in line if you guys ever make double din stereos 😅

      @darkxd8366 Thanks for being a Rockford Fosgate fanatic! Rest assured, your investing in products designed and engineered by our team right here in Tempe, Arizona. I can just imagine those dual T0 12" subwoofers along with T2652-S components running off a T600-4 amplifier will sound amazing in your e90!

    @rockfordfosgste good to hear. Question. Why does my system seem to “stutter” at times? Like when I’m listening to music at various volumes, sometimes it seems to cut out and back in. This cut out is quick. Like the whole event takes less than a quarter of a second from start to finish. It repeats this issue randomly. I have stage 2 front speakers and the 500 watt amp. Properly installed and all software updated.

    Thanks for the video, just installed the 500 watt amp and stage II speakers on my 24 RG on 06/01, I keep hearing people talk about updating the amp, so since this is truly a plug and play system, do I need to perform a software update to the amp, and if so, how?

      Great! Glad the tutorial helped! There was a firmware update released several months ago that included a tuning update. Your dealer can do this update next time your motorcycle is in for servicing, so it won’t hurt anything to run it with the current firmware. -Eric

      Yes, with the 500W amplifier update, we suggest upgrading to Stage I or Stage II speakers. There are so many scenarios possible, we created separate amp & speaker installation videos. You can find the Road Glide Speaker upgrade video here: th-cam.com/video/bcaEZBIcI_o/w-d-xo.html
      You can also find the saddlebag speaker upgrade to Stage III here: th-cam.com/video/hmGL8QlJnyw/w-d-xo.html

    Volunteer audio stated on their latest video 03/292024 that the factory RF amps in the 2024 HD bike put out less than 9 w rms🤔

      This is a logical fallacy of misinformation where parts of the “test” are conveniently left out, so viewers can draw only one conclusion. The fact is Rockford Fosgate has been producing high-performance amplifiers for over 44 years, and thousands of fanatics are first-hand testimonials of their true power. Ironically, we’re in the middle of producing a follow-up to a Dynamic Power episode we released last year, so we’ll update it to include this amplifier. Stay tuned for the truth.

      @@cajuningram7272 The new air defectors on both fairings are low and can be disproportionate to some rider heights, causing a lot of airflow straight into riders faces and ears. This will be an issue with your rider height no matter how loud your audio system is. We do recommend upgraded visors for riders that are affected by this airflow. We are also releasing a new over-the-air tune update to help mitigate this issue.

      I'm sorry you're having this issue. Are you referring to the factory equipped silver amplifier or this upgraded black amp as shown in this video? If it's the silver amplifier, there are updates for SKYLINE OS that should fix this. If it's the black amplifier, there is an additional EQ update (unrelated to the amp turning off randomly). You can have your H-D dealership do them for you since you likely just purchased your motorcycle.

    Does this amp need to be flashed?

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Technically no, however there currently is a firmware update on the DSP that dealers are performing on the amp which some are calling a “flash”. This is a periodic update just like the firmware in your truck’s computer to improve performance as we gather more rider data.

    is this really needed for a simple stage 1 fairing speaker upgrade?

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, the stock speakers only use a 200W amplifier. When using the higher output Stage I or Stage II speakers, we highly recommend using the larger 500W amplifier. Otherwise you're not going to be blown away with the power and sound quality upgrade because the 500W amplifier has a built-in DSP setting for the Stage I and Stage II tweeter offset. [Edited factory installed amp is 200W and not 250W. Apologize for the typo.]

      @jiriza84641 agreed!!! No way that amp is putting out 250 watts. If so it would have no issue at all powering two stock 5.25" speakers. My old bike had 2 6x9 Rockford speakers in the saddlebags on a small 250 watt amp. I could hear it half way up the block crystal clear. Harley and Rockford should be ashamed for this money grab.

      @@bshawttheoriginal5858 I misspoke above, the factory equipped amp is 200W (50W x 4) and not 250W (edited above). The amplifier referenced in the video is the upgraded 500W model (125 x 4). For any speaker upgrade, we recommend upgrading to the 500W "Primary Amplifier".

    Goto Volunteer Audio on this dyno on the RF amp output - 9 watts RMS....even the Stage I is not good....maybe HD should go with another company or Rockford should make taller windshields so everyone can hear their amps/speakers.
