honestly kinda messed up how the infernal engines just stay as messed up entities. because they were humans at one point and you can find a note from the human that became pearl in the haunted house
Yeah, I found it pretty horrible myself, too. And Gwen just states it so calmly knowing they'll never be back to what they used to- Even the Beastiary mentions how the Engines have a glimpse of what human remain they had before.
@@dopeydandoodle and also how everyone just almost instantly moves on from gwen condemning 3 (at the minimum) poor souls to a fate worse than death, heck its not even 100% confirmed that they are dead by the end of the dlc if I recall correctly.

I think the weapon on the heads is probably the human part that of them that remained.
I personally was prepared to destroy the pier, but the plot demanded otherwise. Also new beasts. Umbrahella is broken if you know what you're doing.
