We do speak like it, the culture has died out due to mass population and immigration sad but true, what you are hearing is cockney dialect, it happens to all dialects it changes and grows it moves with the time, it’s a hall marker of a generation. My family still speak cockney and I am lucky too, although people only know my accent and dialect from films and such.
She comes across so lovely here! Pity there’s not many people going to be around like her when this generation is grown up. The art of respect, kindness and charm will have long gone. Also, very lovely to see her being so supportive there for gay people at a time when it wasn’t discussed much on TV.
God bless you Dame Barbra .....loved watching in the carry on films.and eastenders. ..you will sadly be missed ....sleep well 💔....my heart goes to Scott and famiky,friends....akso not forgetting Ross Kemp and Steve Mc fadden her on screen sons xxx
I had to remind myself that Kenneth Williams’ death was still fairly recent (6 years before) when this interview was filmed. Fascinating to watch. Bless Barbara.
I can hear Bab’s /Peggy shouting to God “ Get Out Of My Heaven!!!!” 😂💯💎💯💎❤️ “Carry On “:Angel , we love you so much , and we’re all crying darling . Life won’t be the same without you Dame Barbara . Today, Friday 11 TH December 2020 , the world lost a true legend . Here’s my dedication to you sweetheart 🌹❤️🙏🏻💯⭐️👍 Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light, Watered and fed by the morning dew, Shedding it's sweetness day and night. As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall Through which there shone a beam of light. Onward it crept with added strength With never a thought of fear or pride, It followed the light through the crevice's length And unfolded itself on the other side. The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before, And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing it's fragrance more and more. Shall claim of death cause us to grieve And make our courage faint and fall? Nay! Let us faith and hope receive-- The rose still grows beyond the wall, Scattering fragrance far and wide Just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forever-more. Dedicated to Dame Barbara Windsor, DBE , born Barbara Ann Deeks; 6 August 1937 - 10 December 2020 May She Rest In Peace Eternal 🙏🏻❤️👍
I may have... though that may be a bit late for me, as I gave up in about 2004 (or so it seems). Maybe I'll find some - about 100 things to upload soon ;)
So gracious, charming and witty. We’re so lucky to have her
I wish people still spoke like this. The internet leaves no room for people to develop such a lovely, interesting way of speaking any more

I think 1994 was the year when Barbara Windsor started playing Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders.
no, much later... 2014... was a great actress
@@Progressive.Films. no she started in the mid 90's

I've never seen Judy looking so fresh faced before!😮😃🤣
Oh Barbara you were so beautiful, you’re in a better place now. Rest in eternal peace.
6 months before her EE debut
Great interview! I think it was This Morning in 1993 actually not 94 as it says.
That's when the tour was, yes... Rather bizarre I'd dated the file '94... Odd ;)
Looked so young
R.I.p peg

Thank you for all of these interviews, fantastic channel! Have you got any Paul O'Grady Show interviews?
I may have... though that may be a bit late for me, as I gave up in about 2004 (or so it seems). Maybe I'll find some - about 100 things to upload soon ;)
Ha, no worries will look forward to the rest of your uploads. Really loved the Victoria Wood interview(s)
I'm glad, and the definitely more VW to come :)
Oh very glad to hear it, will look forward to them! Any Corrie related interviews?
No Corrie that I remember - though your channel looks interesting :)
Babs was very close friends with the Kray Twins, Ronnie Knight was on the Twins firm
Yep.
Ronnie Knight wasn't on the Twins firm at all.
Ronnie Knight wouldn't entertain the krays
I think you've got the broadcast date wrong. She started playing Peggy in 1991
They all look young here. Not surprised, it's 25/6 years ago.
Babs actually hasn’t aged too badly! She looked fantastic at her final public appearances.
the playwright “who is now dead”.
Did I hear this wrong?! How could Judy stamp such a blasé phrase on it?!
Obvious one of those interviews when certain subjects were banned from being mentioned?
The playwright is dead. Just incase you missed it. Thanks Judy
Haaahahahahhahahaahahha.
Babs was fit
Richard should of shoplifted some earlobes
Is babs a jewess
