I don't remember fox killing Wanda and technically they were both allowed use hints why quicksilver shows up in both i had thought it was too cut confusion and show some stakes/ danger but with the addition of his treatment of the flash i just think there is more to it now
Marvel was forced to kill quicksilver because fox had the rights, that’s also why I think in the age of ultron film they never call pietro by his superhero name (quicksilver) they just call him fast or speedster because marvel didn’t own the rights.
I'm sure there was a bunch of licensing rights issues that went along with Quicksilver, there might be more to it. I don't think it's impossible for Whedon to not like speedster characters. Many writers hate them cause they're notoriously hard to write for. Wouldn't be surprised if his mindset was to kill this one and treat that one like a joke

He had more than 10 min of screen time for sure, and the movie isn’t mainly about his character, but as the league together. Superman was resurrected, fought the league, found out his life, his meaning again, the reason he was brought back, and the redemption of his character arc to becoming the classic Superman. He then comes to help the league and defeat Steppenwolf. You can’t say he hardly said or didn’t do anything. Superman himself in the black suit was already cool and badass, him fighting Steppenwolf, etc.

It just had MAJOR problems like not giving the BOP more screen time, the physicality of the BOP (I love them as actresses, but their fight scenes were ok at best), not fully developing the BOP, Black Mask (he’s literally just the joker from SS, but worse), I HATED VICTOR, and Cassandra wasn’t fully developed (she was somewhat of a fun character).The amazing parts for me was with Harley by herself (and with Cassandra sometimes). I know it’s a movie about her, but Margot Robbie’s performance was beautiful. She’s literally Harley irl. And no offense to the other cast. They tried their best. It was mostly just the script.

Huntress Cry for Blood is my definitive Huntress book that really explains the character. Renee Montoya was badly cast, and Black Canary was boring and didn’t feel like the character herself. The villains were terrible renditions, especially Zsasz, and the man-bashing was unnecessary, it gives the impression that women can’t be uplifted without putting down men, which is not true at all.
Honestly, between Ray Fisher’s incredible performance and the fact that he has one of the most heartfelt and captivating arcs in the entire DCEU Cyborg is probably my favorite

A great character arc going from cold hearted cynic to faithful man seeking redemption, great backstory told practically entirely through visual storytelling in BVS, a great theme used in BVS and not in the Snyder cut for some reason, and by far the best action scene in the entire DCEU. Best DCEU hero and one of the best incarnations of the best superhero of all time! 2. Superman/Cyborg: I couldn't decide which one I liked more, so I just made it a tie. Superman is one of the most human characters of the entire DCEU, has one of the best themes, has some of the best action scenes, and is basically the heart and soul of every Zack Snyder entry in the DCEU. Cyborg basically cements himself as one of the best characters in the entire franchise with a great backstory, awesome powers that are completely visualized, and an amazing character arc that makes him the heart and soul of the movie (THANK YOU SNYDER CUT). My only real problem with the both of them is that, sometimes, the brooding can be overdone. 3. Shazam: A complete and utter delight from start to finish, extremely funny and heartwarming, may not be the most deep character, but that was never the point of Shazam. The point was to have fun and entertain and that's exactly what he did. 4. Wonder Woman: Has one of/if not the DCEU's best themes, played by a great actress, and has some of the best action scenes. 5. Huntress: A funny, badass character with an interesting backstory, I just wish that there was more time dedicated to her. (What can I say? I'm a MEW fan.) 6. Flash: Such a compelling backstory and a a character used to the max in the Snyder cut, I just think that the comedy used with him is very hit and miss. Still, love him. 7. Aquaman: A decent character with some good moments of humor and action here and there, just nothing that deep. 8. Black Canary: Some good stunts and a decent arc, but nothing really that memorable about her. 9. Rennee Montoya: I found it funny how she was basically the punching bag for all of Harley Quinn's antics until the end of the movie where she joins the team, but an interesting character, she is not. 10. Interesting list, I wouldn't really know how to order the top. I like Batman as a character, but Affleck's version is different from what we're used to that I don't know if I'd be ranking him high because of my love for Batman, or my love of the character. Still really like his Batman though.

Awwwm Huntress was my favourite Bird of Prey, partly because of her adorable awkwardness and how unconvincing she is as a badass killer. It's funny and the scene of her practicing one-liners in the mirror was just too cute.

I liked huntress more then the other two birds of prey
Margot Robbie and Ewan Mcgregor were good in Birds of Prey, everyone else was really bad. Wonder Woman 1984 was miles below its predecessor. The only consistent, amazing series in the franchise is MoS, BvS UE, and ZSJL. #restorethesnyderverse

I would have absolutely 0 problem with any of his characterization if they just called him Wally West instead. He was too dorky for Barry and it came across as weird.

Awwwm Huntress was my favourite Bird of Prey, partly because of her adorable awkwardness and how unconvincing she is as a badass killer. It's funny and the scene of her practicing one-liners in the mirror was just too cute.
