So the senior Nazi who had knowledge of and access to the forgery operation the SS ran AND who happened to be a skilled veteran pilot, disappeared at the end of the war. Furthermore, this guy made it his career to find people who definitely did not want to be found. Is it possible he learned what the best methods of hiding were during his time as head of the Gestapo?

My pet theory is that the body in the grave (as suggested by another amateur historian) is actually Hermann Fegelein's. His body was never found, but the morgue attendant apprently said it was a Gruppenfuherer's uniform with no decoration and the man was shot in the back. That would match some of the stories surrounding Fegelein's death. Then Muller, or one of his men just slipped his ID into the dead man's pocket and off he went. It wolud be interesting if they could exhume the body and do DNA testing.

The fact that numerous people were killed by the Gestapo, I would have assumed he had all of their background information and could assume many people's identities. Those who likely had few relatives or friends and who had an established paper trail could merely have fake papers made to fit him. The invading forces would have to use the German's identification documents when they took over.
I somewhat suspect the rumors were fake rumors created by the Soviets in order to cause chaos and see if the wrongful information reappears somewhere indicating they had a leak or spy somewhere. If they tell one of their operatives that this guy was working for them and Western intelligence starts trying to find out if it was true, then they know they have a problem with that operative.

Martin Bormann was the most senior Nazi to disappear after the war. He was named as Hitler’s successor in Hitler’s last will and testament. He was sentenced to death in absentia at Nuremberg. His escape was covered up with a carefully “discovered” skeleton that Martin Bormann’s own family refused to take custody of. When Adolf Eichmann was captured by Mossad, his oldest son traveled to Germany and attempted to surrender Martin Bormann’s whereabouts to those in charge of the Bormann Manhunt. They stonewalled Eichmann son and sent him back to South America. Look into the Laurence De Mello TH-cam Channel for more on the cover up. As for Gestapo Muller, he lived to be 92 years old.

  • @leticiavillafranco6347
    @leticiavillafranco6347 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

I follow a treasure hunter from Mexico that has a channel here on TH-cam using a metal detector. He had heard a legend about a Nazi soldier that had showed up after ww2 and had moved into a shack outside of town in the middle of nowhere and only come to town a couple of times a year for supplies. He went out to the site and actually found Nazi coins which confirmed that the tale was true. He's probably one of these war criminals.

Inside this box was a complete “Brown Uniform, with Nazi Arm Bands , Black Jack Boots , Banner Nazi Flag , pistol with holster, money, books , Passports and many many items. Before us kids could check his IDENTITY, my Grandmother interrupt our silence. My Grandmother was friends with this German Officer’s . Ironically he shot his wife and days later he suffered a stroke then died. I still lament with my brother over who this man was. He looked.very much like the Aryan superman with a slight German brogue! Craggy faced with sharp chiselled features and gray blue eyes with a strange cast to them. Please investigate more about Reinhard Heydrich, you will find out that (according to official history writing) he died in Hospital at 04th June 1942 because he received no Penicelline (because Germany hat no modern antibiotics productions) after the hand grenade attack carried out by british agents in Prague BUT you will find out that Germany had plenty of Penicelline taken from other countries as Poland, Czechia, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and France...all those countries had large imported stocks made in UK or under licence. Germany also manufactured synthetical antibiotics that were quite effective. I am talking about Richard Kuhn / SS controlled SCHERING Werke and the preparate 3065. All those effective drugs were available for high ranking party members and I tell you Heydrich was the 3rd powerful man after Hitler and Himmler. Couldn´t it be that Heydrichs death was a cover story and he became the "inoffical" administration brain of the SUPER HIGH TECH program. Reinhard Heyrich was an evil mastermind, hyper intelligent and ruthless. Hans Kammler certainly was NOT the highest person in the SS super weapon program (and even more important not the highest person in the SD (and I am not talking about Ernst Kaltenbrunner or Heinrich Mueller who were only "Mielkes" chasing and killing Anti-Nazi conspirators or libreating Mussolini!) Kammler not even received the highest SD rank "OBERSTGRUPPENFÜHER" even Kaltenbrunner was not SD OBERSTGRUPPENFÜHRER. But we know that there were several high ranking Scientists and Organisators in the German super weapon program carrying the title OBERSTGRUPPENFÜHRER. Hans Kammler was boss of the Jägerstab and most secret facility-construction projects BUT NOT the general Organisator of the secret SD high tech armament program (those "things" beyond ME 262, V1 and V2). (Even Speer did not know everything about the superweapons because SD did not fully trust him, instead of that SD informed Bormann very well, and Bormann (he himself was SS Obergruppenführer like Kammler!) was a close friend of the mayor of Wechmar, who was a high SD member involved in that S3 thing!) Himmler was only on paper the REICHSFÜHRER SS and Boss of the police and SD but he was more in the concetration camp "thing" and less the driving mind behind the superweapons. Himmler was not the most intelligent man at all! Just think about how it would have been if Heydrich was the true head of the deep SD state. The SD was a (much feared!) state in the state of the SS and the SS was a state in the state (Reich) itself. Could it be that Heydrich was the hidden superbrain behind the Superweapons program, maybe his office was located at Riese, according to witnesses (a Reichspost engineer from the Ardenne team who helped with the installation of a second betatron there) we know that the SS and SD in Riese had completely different badges on their uniforms not the "normal SS or SD" signs. So what kind of organisation was that and who was responsible for the Riese "thing" ?

HoP videos take well over 10 hours to research because I use multiple books (and actually read them all). It is why the series has lasted for over 6 months and I have actually been working on it since June 2019 (!).
These videos are a bit easier. I usually read 2-3 chapters of books on the relevant subject and then spend another few hours writing the script. Recording & editing takes around 8 hours per video. In short: it's far from cost-efficient but I really enjoy this as a hobby and potentially something bigger in the future.

If it was on the level, whu did they dispose of the bones? The report mentions the bones were encased in a red clay that apparently is found nowhere in Germany but is common in certain parts of Argentina. One of the suspicious things is the Germans after analyzing the bones didn't save them or bury them, they dumped them at sea...why? On the show Hunting for Hitler they couldn't understand why unless they had something they wanted to cover up. Among other things, bone analysis could tell them how long the bones had been buried, if he had died in Berlin in 1945 they would show different decay then if had died decades later in Argentina.

I enjoy your video's, you speak very clearly with a voice suited to narration.
I understand we'll never know for sure how many missing Nazi's suicided, escaped or defected. You explain well the possibility/probability of different options that may of occurred. Reading the comments below your video's, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of arm chair experts (mainly American) that rubbish you or your channel. Keep up the great work, I feel better educated after watching your vid's. 👍

I would think that Muller had gotten rid of his unifrom, and like many others, perhaps changed into some KZ/prisoner outfit ? Anyways, if Stalins secret police could make good use of Muller early-post-war they surely would ! but as soon as muller was of no value, I would think they felt no remorse to just knock him off, and in some unmarked grave ! so many unmarked graves allready

In the 1970s the Soviet TV produced a miniseries called Seventeen Moments of Spring on the exploits of a fictional deep-cover Soviet agent Otto von Stirlitz, a direct subordinate of Mueller's. Despite being supposedly an evil Nazi, Mueller was given a rather sympathetic portrayal, played as an intelligent and likeable person by the famous actor Leonid Bronevoy... His constant mind games and piqueing with Stirlitz entered the Russian vernacular and both became sort of folk heroes. Given that the series was sanctioned at the highest level and reportedly well liked by the KGB head Andropov, it wouldn't be too implausible to suggest that a) Mueller did feed some intel to the Soviets during the war and was the real Stirlitz b) Soviets did evacuate and hide him after the war c) because some aspects of that cooperation weren't perfect (Mueller was after all a Nazi) publicly recognizing him and making him a hero wasn't acceptable, but the Soviets found a way to slightly repair his image at least unofficially. Anyway, just a wild theory )))

      Decoration.
      1. something used for decorating; adornment; embellishment:
The gymnasium was adorned with posters and crepe-paper decorations for the dance.
      the act of decorating.
      interior decoration.

A technical point. Muller didn’t join the SS, after the Nazi Regime took power ALL members of the Police automatically became part of the SS. The Gestapo were “simply” the domestic counter intelligence arm of the Police, like the Special Branch of the Metropolitan Police in England or the “Red Squads” of various police forces in the US.

I'm not so sure about him being all that competent and smart, I've heard Müler was just good at strictly following commands from above and being a sucker to higher ranks. If it wasn't for Nazis, who valued loyalty over competence, he likely would remain just some minor bureaucrat.

They didn't. The only thing that spared them for even that long was - neither UK, nor USA had large land army to begin with, and those troops that finally got organised were not in continental Europe anyway, while Soviets needed time and resources (weapons, fuel, raw materials, time for training and production) to come back to senses after the catastrophic defeat in mid 1941.

A very good video piece on Heinrich Muller..a very dedicated member of Himmlers police force and Gestapo...they say he wasn't really that political but that he loved his Job..a person you did not want on your ass because he didn't stop until he had you and he was indifferent to murder and torture which in turn came with the job as being head of the feared Gestapo...I think in my opinion he survived the war and faded into obscurity..perhaps even doing police work for a south American dictator....you referred to his Iron Cross as a decoration ..it was a medal that he earned..not a nic nak that you put on someone's end table..good video..thanks!!!

    • @charleswilcher6158

@Butcher Bird to be honest ...I just thought in my opinion that by calling it a decoration ..he was trivialising the Iron Cross...I'm sure it meant alot to Muller..something he was proud of...it was never about what it was called ..medal or decoration...both work ...it's just the way he went about saying it...he could of said it in a way that made the Iron Cross sound like a substantial .... decoration lol...it's just myself and the way I perceive it...it's my problem not his...and I never said you were mean... pointing out my grammar on my post is a bit anal...I mean I can point out umpteen mistakes other people make....but I generally get what they are trying to say..and let it slide...unless your a English professor ...then I might kinda under stand...I mean you said no problem... implying that there was one..it was just my opinion..but thanks for explaining the shooting ghost thing...I am if u must know..German..,..so I pardon you..have a good night
