ULTIMATE UH-144 Falcon MEGA Halo MOC

- The Falcon is such an interesting vehicle that I felt that I just had to do it justice in block form. It has definitely taken a few attempts to get to this point, but carefully considering and then iterating on each design has turned out amazing results! It has to be one of my favourite Mocs that I've made to date, even if there are a few more improvements to be made. What do you think? Would you like to see something closer to this in a set?

Bro it took me a solid 5 seconds to realize this wasn’t a model, it was a MOC. Looks absolutely top tier, my guy. Keep it up!

I see the falcon as a Huey due to the similar passenger capacity and the hornet as the little bird, it makes the most sense to me.
You nailed it. Going further I'd say The Falcon would probably fill the same role as the UH-1Y Venom. Small unit insertion with loiter ability to provide CAS.
That's exactly how Bungie envisioned it. The Hornet was used just like that even in the comics.
This thing is gorgeous! I always thought the mega falcon was really good, but this… this is just… wow! The seats and guns, the smoothness, and just overall polish is amazing! Beautiful moc and keep up the outstanding work! If you are going to make another vehicle, I would recommend the spectre or prowler, the mega ones are decent but I think you could make something that hits it out of the ballpark!
Thanks man! I've already got a few more made up so will showcase them first. Prowler is one i'm definitely interested in, halo 3 stuff is criminally under represented IMO. I might do the Spectre eventually, but there's other MOC's I'd rather do with that colour first ;)
I believe in-story the Falcon does actually fly like an Osprey, but it was kept in helicopter mode in gameplay due to engine and map size constraints.

Dude, I’ll say the one thing that I don’t think you mentioned was that sleek design for the console in the cockpit my goodness you did so well with that. I don’t know how you even get these many pieces to build such gorgeous Mocs but like they’re just so good.

Yes! I'll definitely get there sometime! What colour would do it in? I'm thinking the OG pink/purple to represent a more Halo 3 colour tbh.

One thing I appreciate about this moc you've made is the swap of the side machine guns to the M247 Heavy machine guns. MEGA's versions for this set are still quite cool, but they are quite big, and the barrels are not the right design. It's really no big deal, but it's cool that you noticed! :D
I recently got back into halo and these mocs make me want to start making halo vehicles like this. Keep up the good work can't wait to see the next vehicle in the USS collection.

Everytime I look at the thumbnail it takes me 7 seconds to realize it's a Mega build and not a 3d model...
I havent been a big lego/mega block person since i was a kid. but this is awesome, wont watch much tbh but had to subcribe because this is just sick. the use of arma also was pretty sick

I'd love to see a scorpion next, I'm currently sitting here with the scorpion clash set on my desk looking at how i can rebuild it and change some small details on it to look more like the halo 3 scorpion

Nice job! I can't wait to see your Falcon Sweep and the comparisons to this one. Like many I wasn't able to get a Falcon Sweep at retail, but I did get one from a reseller for $120. Yes I know, I just helped a scalper...but i'm just really biased and a huge fan of Halo and Noble Team in particular that I bought it out of FOMO tbh. It took them a year and a half to finally restock but it again sold out within minutes. And in my defense, before the restock they were reselling for as high as $700! So i'll take it for $120 for sure as it includes all of Noble Team which I didn't have! Anyways, great build and keep up the great work!

1:12 I think its closer to a little bird, a tiny aircraft that can only carry like 4 people, in game the falcon carries like 4 spartans in the back max
This is awesome btw um just curious mega never made a longsword could you if not a shortsword because thise are really cool ships and they dont get the attention they deserve
i love the falcon sweep, but having it in hand, it's just too big, and i think that's because of the specialty pieces. the wings feel a touch too big because the propellers can't be closer together, and the nose feels too long because like you said, the cockpit piece is oversized. even the tail looks extended compared to the in game model.
your moc captures the feel of the actual falcon really well!
Quick question on the landing skids. Are the black tubings used the rubber ones just cut down? I couldn’t figure out those odd angles and it’s all I could think of
No actually, where I got them from is the Mega Cybertruck. They use one for the steering wheel but most sets come with a spare as well. Not sure if they've turned up anywere else as they're nice to have...
Oh man this makes me want to get back into building again. It’s been a while but this is so exciting. On a second note, what’s the best way to obtain lots of bricks to build with. Does Mega have a system where you can bulk order pieces?
I'd think ebay or any place where people sell their stuff they don't want anymore, but thats where I would go to buy bulk parts.

ahh yes the worst helicopter design ever.
3 passengers, 2 door gunners and 1 pilot...100% crap.
the OG concept for the falcon was way better than this, cuz it had space for 1 pilot, 2 gunners and 6 passengers, and it was a jet powered tilt thruster design, Oh and it had doors..
the littlebird irl is half the size of this thing and can carry 4 dismounts and only needs 1 and can even have a 5th passenger/copilot pilot.
