3 Things. 1. The work space you just used was amazing (including the sheet). 2. The Attire you wore for this video was classy, elegant, and flashy lol. 3. Nice Bike!
wow sounds brill tom and i have been wondering for ages and its not bugging me why is it on your forkes you have two diffrenet shapes on top of them is there a reason for that bro
nice work tom looks mad now. how long did it actually take to change it? im definatly gettin me one of them, all u need now is to remove the tow bar thats got ur indicators on it from the back of the bike. nice work
totally unrelated but do you still have that plastic plate holder on your bike as in the video? why not remove it? looks so much better in my opinion, my dealer changed mine all with the wiring fairly cheaply
You past the run in yet mate? I watched your test ride of the R6 and the CBR1000. You given it to the zx6r hard yet? as hard as you did to the r6? I'm super keen on this bike as my next bike! I just want to see a video of it in stock form going hard.
I'm on the fence about which I should purchase, the Two Brothers exhaust or the M4. Seems that most prefer the M4 so far. Picked up my new K&N Air Filter and now looking at which exhaust would be the best.
Did u do the power commander v also with the exhaust upgrade? Cuz I bought a 2012 r6 blue, had it for 2months now! Since then I did a taylormade full exhaust and the power commander V and the gold ASV SHORT levers,,and I'm waiting on the schools damper (gold) and driven handlebars (gold) and driven handle bars (gold) I'm glad u finally picked a bike I saw allot of ur videos,,and I'm still upset u didn't get the r6 at the test ride lol
Hi Tom, I know this Video is old, however I got my Kawasaki 2013 ZX6-R in October and am just about to Put an M4 on mine, thanks for all your videos!!!
Tom that's the same exact set up I have! Same bike color and all. How many miles do you have? I know its your daily so I expect some miles haha. Mines just over 11k. Buying a gopro hero 3 black in November so hopefully Ill get some videos out then. To all of you who say he's just some rich punk I bet you he loves riding just about as much me. I spend all of my money on my bike. Getting vinyl wrapped in flat black with some reflective black soon with a brown sasquatch silhouette on the side. WA
Showa Seperate Function Big Piston Forks - a mouthful to be sure! Seperate adjustment on each fork top, so they look different. Handy though, you dont need to go to the bottom of the fork to adjust compression rebound etc.
this is how an exhaust sound clip should be. quality video and sound. not that flimsy flipcameraphone shit that looks like it's been filmed with a potato. great work, Tom. Sounds amazing btw
Hey i saw you removed your cat, was it easy?? In another video the guy had to remove his rear tire to get the it off. But in yours, you just took it off with no troubles....
Hey Tom Any info you can give on future 636 owners that will attempt to take the exhaust chamber off without taking off the rear wheel?. Which way to wiggle, stuff like that ?
How did you get the FI light to go off after installing a new exhaust? What did you do with the wires from the other exhaust? Does the bike need a re-jet now? Thanks a bunch !
Tom, please reply. I have a '14, and I just ordered my M4GP Slip, and what did you have to do exactly to get the the prechamber box off without removing the rear wheel? Did you wiggle it out or something?
I am looking for my first upgrade from a 250 having being riding big dirt bikes for a while i don't think its going to be an issue the only issue i have is choosing a 600 that i like. There are so many on the market and they all perform money is not an issue. Any thoughts?
hey, it this exhaust a slip on?? once i install it..do i have to spend more money on things like Power commander etc?? i m new to motorcycles.. thnks!!
in the age of technology, it becomes so easy to anything to your bike. looking probably at youtube to figure out how to change his exhaust. its fabulous!
he has the best moto channel on youtube. when he make a review he ride the bikes fast in the canyons. he do not ride the bike on straight lines running slow on the streets and make review. he ride the bikes amigo on racetracks and in canyons. oh and yeah amigo monster give him free t shirts caps and sweatshirts.
how much power has the bike lost from the M4 exhaust compared to original ? The loss of back pressure will have to be adjusted, and the bikes onboard ECU cannot do that, powercommander with a run in is need, i guess you didnt do that ?
Hi Tom, Im getting this for my 636 too. I got a couple of questions... is there too much difference between the original exhaust? Did you tried no-muffler? (I mean, direct sound with the catalizer), Backfire? What you mean with "stage 2 silencer"? Im worried about the sound, I tried my bike without muffler (only catalizer) and its TOO DAMN LOUD... big headache now :( Thanks!
Being 6'3" its a frigging nightmare trying to fit on sports bikes, but still managed to fold myself on when I was younger. But too much pain now means sadly I'm having to switch to sports tourers but just isn't as much fun.
+Quinstilius Anyui Removing the cat is optional. It's the difference between a slip on and a full exhaust kit. You see, a slip on is simply removing the preexisting exhaust manifold and slipping on a new one. Full exhaust systems require the entire cat to be removed and having a direct system. The cat sucks power from the bike and removing it will generally give a better performance. Gives more air flow which generally needs a new map to allow correct air/fuel mixture.
Mr Matt finch. I always use a laptop to watch videos of the maintenance of vehicles when I am doing something I have not done. It ensures I am doing the most efficient job I can do. Instead of saying I need to take off this and this and this you may be able to detach a hidden piece that takes away 50% of the work. I wouldn't blame him for doing such. it is the same reason techs use service manuals. Whether they have done that task or not if it is on a different vehicle they may overlook things.
2021 anyone? Watching your older vids again Tom. 😄
I love how he did all his work on the bike while having his shirt still tucked in.
This is definitely a better love story than Twilight
Looking like The Transporter fixing and riding your bike with a suit on. LOL
Classy bad ass
doing this stuff in a suit -> like a boss!
Best mechanic outfit I’ve seen. Exhaust sounds beautiful.
stock exhaust isn't that bad , but m4 is a monster
3 Things. 1. The work space you just used was amazing (including the sheet). 2. The Attire you wore for this video was classy, elegant, and flashy lol. 3. Nice Bike!
I think the stock exhaust sounds perfectly fine. But the M4 GP just makes it even better.
But why change it in a pink dress shirt, black dress pants and black dress shoes?
Why not?
Sounds much better! Great mod.
Best exhaust comparison video I have seen yet
wow sounds brill tom and i have been wondering for ages and its not bugging me why is it on your forkes you have two diffrenet shapes on top of them is there a reason for that bro
nice work tom looks mad now. how long did it actually take to change it? im definatly gettin me one of them, all u need now is to remove the tow bar thats got ur indicators on it from the back of the bike. nice work
What is your height tom?
What happened to the wires connected to the stock exhaust? I never even saw them when you removed it, nor did I see you remove them.
totally unrelated but do you still have that plastic plate holder on your bike as in the video? why not remove it? looks so much better in my opinion, my dealer changed mine all with the wiring fairly cheaply
What did you do about the servo and the two cables?? I didn't see you take the seat or any plastics off. Sounds amazing though
I pushed down on the chamber very hard, and it just slipped out, it was very hard to get off without removing the back wheel
How did you do this without taking the seat and side panels off like in some instructional videos out there?
You past the run in yet mate? I watched your test ride of the R6 and the CBR1000. You given it to the zx6r hard yet? as hard as you did to the r6? I'm super keen on this bike as my next bike! I just want to see a video of it in stock form going hard.
That sounds sick! I just spent $800 on my 636. This exhaust, Yoshi fender eliminator kit, Radiator guard and a brake sock!
Nice mate, neat video. Are you engaging the front brake the whole time? Interesting right hand habit you've developed.
is this a slip on or the full system? how was the installation procedure? how long did it take?
Just the fact that you wear almost a suit, and working on the bike, already made me like the vid.
Sounds awesome, looks cool. Awesome Tom;)
I wear a tuxedo with top hat and tails when working on my bike, but I see you take a more casual approach.
Was the M4 gp exhaust stage 1 or stage 2 silencer?
hey Tom, is the passenger liking the m4 GP exhaust looks like it is too small shooting right on the passenger foot peg ?
I'm on the fence about which I should purchase, the Two Brothers exhaust or the M4. Seems that most prefer the M4 so far. Picked up my new K&N Air Filter and now looking at which exhaust would be the best.
You used drift hd camera ? .. because of you now I bought M4 exhaust, thanks.. it seems easy instalation and sound was great..
nice i have the white one ;) quick question is this the one with stage 2 silencer?
How hard was taking off the pre chamber? i know some people remove the tire, i know it's a tight fit.
You can get it off without removing the wheel, just hit it down until it comes off
Hey Tom, what industry to you work in?
Did u do the power commander v also with the exhaust upgrade? Cuz I bought a 2012 r6 blue, had it for 2months now! Since then I did a taylormade full exhaust and the power commander V and the gold ASV SHORT levers,,and I'm waiting on the schools damper (gold) and driven handlebars (gold) and driven handle bars (gold) I'm glad u finally picked a bike I saw allot of ur videos,,and I'm still upset u didn't get the r6 at the test ride lol
Wait you installed the exhaust without removing the rider seat? What did you do with the servo cables on the stock exhaust??
Did you ever get fined for it being loud? thinking about buying one myself. Also would you say the throttle was snappier?
Hi Tom,
I know this Video is old, however I got my Kawasaki 2013 ZX6-R in October and am just about to Put an M4 on mine, thanks for all your videos!!!

sounds good mate..i have the jardingp on my gixxer 750..where in oz you're at?
OK so when you bought the exhaust did you have to RE-tune or buy a power colander?
this is how an exhaust sound clip should be. quality video and sound. not that flimsy flipcameraphone shit that looks like it's been filmed with a potato. great work, Tom. Sounds amazing btw

sounds good with the new exhaust, what about a taylor made?
how long have you been riding and did you go to a mechanic school to learn how to work on your bike.
Tom, please reply. I have a '14, and I just ordered my M4GP Slip, and what did you have to do exactly to get the the prechamber box off without removing the rear wheel? Did you wiggle it out or something?
Man where is this city? It's so big and clean.
I am looking for my first upgrade from a 250 having being riding big dirt bikes for a while i don't think its going to be an issue the only issue i have is choosing a 600 that i like. There are so many on the market and they all perform money is not an issue. Any thoughts?
How did u get the big exhaust box off without taking the rear tire off? (Saw another video where he had to remove rear tire
I noticed the slim lanes on the road.. Have you guys got motorcycle lanes in MEL?
Hi Tom, that exhaust has any type of db killer?? it comes with teh exhaust or is an accesory part?? thanks.
Where did you order your M4 from. I'm looking to get one for my sv650
hey,
it this exhaust a slip on??
once i install it..do i have to spend more money on things like Power commander etc??
i m new to motorcycles..
thnks!!
How did you get the converter off without removing the tire???
in the age of technology, it becomes so easy to anything to your bike. looking probably at youtube to figure out how to change his exhaust. its fabulous!
sick exhaust. what camera are you using to record this?
what did bu do with the cables that go to the servo? did u completely remove them?
How tall are you?
I am 6'6 (197 cm) and i'm thinking of buying a zx6r, but i'm afraid it will look stupid and be uncomfortable...
just some dumb logic, but if you remove the stock exhaust unit and replace it by a lighter one, wouldnt it affect the overall balance of the bike???
Hey, is it recommended to remapp the bike when you use a m4 exhaust ? PC5 etc. sry my englisch im from germany.
Did you mean the tram lines? No motorbike lanes around here!
How do you compare your zx636 to the r6 ? I'm considering one of the two
Hey tom where did you buy this exhaust and will it fit on my 2014 ZX6R 636?
Did you use a pcv? Or did you just put the slip on?
he has the best moto channel on youtube. when he make a review he ride the bikes fast in the canyons. he do not ride the bike on straight lines running slow on the streets and make review. he ride the bikes amigo on racetracks and in canyons. oh and yeah amigo monster give him free t shirts caps and sweatshirts.
Just wondering how you got your hands on the m4 gp exhaust in australia as i cant seem to find one to buy :/ same bike just 2014 model. thanks :)
Did you just do an exhaust in slacks & a button up shirt?... classy. Nice.
would you guys say that it gets hot for your passenger with that
Did you get a steering damper yet?
So you didn't have to remove the rear tire?
How long is your pants inseam? Wondering if I can flat foot this bike. I have a 32'' inseam.
Changing an exhaust with them clothes on, classy as fuck!
My friend wants To get this bike and he is a beginner would that be a good idea?
hey, iam thinking of getting a bike kinda like yours, are they easy to ride?
Looks great! I love how the black blends into the bike.
how much power has the bike lost from the M4 exhaust compared to original ? The loss of back pressure will have to be adjusted, and the bikes onboard ECU cannot do that, powercommander with a run in is need, i guess you didnt do that ?
what about the vibrations (drone) kicking at 8000 rpm? Hindrance or not?
Did your f1 light come after you took the cables off
how did you install those pipes without taking the seat off?
Agreed. ,most stock exhausts are just fine. I have had aftermarket before and never will do it again. Hate the extra noise after a while.
Sounds sooooo much better than the original exhaust! Looving it
That is one slick looking Ninja. The exhaust is like music lol.
Did you install quickshifter ?
no vibrations, its fine with the stage 2 silencer
dude you are keeping the bike SPOTLESS!!!!! awesome. and the camera is also super nice
do you always where suit pants when working on your bike?
very nice! I love how you work on your bike while still in business attire
Being 6'3" its a frigging nightmare trying to fit on sports bikes, but still managed to fold myself on when I was younger.
But too much pain now means sadly I'm having to switch to sports tourers but just isn't as much fun.
***** If you start having back problems you'll understand why the head down arse up riding position is not good.
***** I guess we're at different stages of bodies failing on us because I feel more fatal than fetal.
How much does this exhaust cost? How does it compare to two brothers?
Quinstilius Anyui I bought mine for about $220 American and it was for an r6. Beautiful slip on and great price!
theeHooligan do you have to remove the cat? In Malaysia, two brothers cost rm2k. Thats a lot.
Gives more air flow which generally needs a new map to allow correct air/fuel mixture.
i would like to see him making a review on crashing a zx6r.
do you have the baffle in and do you have a power commander
nice vid what u r camera ?
sick transformation , sounds so much better with that M4
Tom you should put some green rimtape it would look so dope
Do you need a power commander?
he is the first guy i have ever seen changing the exhaust in a shirt :) LOVE IT ^^
how tall are you ? nice bike man
