I have one these which sat in a drawer for years. It leaked Co2 through the barrel as soon as a bulb was fitted but I always felt that one day I would find a seal kit for it to restore it. Then, to the rescue comes Henry Ford Airguns. I bought the seal kit included a new valve stem and away she went. It holds gas forever and rarely jams. A truly special pistol from an era when Crosman made superb airguns. The likes of which we'll never see again. I read somewhere that Crosman have lost the ability to remake the 600. Thanks for a great presentation. I have subscribed. Best wishes from England.
@@darrencady4261 Yes my pistol leaked also, but I dumped tons of Crosman pelgun oil into it and the pistol eventually became air tight. As far as remaking this pistol, I believe it is absolutely possible. Yes airguns from this era were great. Most rifles came with wooden sticks instead of plastic. Thank you very much for watching and subscribing.
@ I like it and have found no flaws on my rifle. They were a little pricey and I think most buyers might have expected more for it being a 100 year anniversary edition.
Hey Jace, I cleaned up one of those for a friend many years ago, never actually tested it though. I had never seen one before and you're right, it was a very cool design, innovative for it's day. Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year! Mike.
Okay Jay so here's the deal crossman hired a guy to engineer that pistol he was a sewing machine engineer and he took so many years to perfect it that by the time they got to market the market had moved to cheaper guns and they lost the money on it
Heck yeah I love that gun I've bid on a few of them on eBay I'm definitely going to get one I actually want to copy the action in 30 caliber @@JaceBell

@@darrencady4261 Also, thanks for the kind words.
That is a nice pistol.
Yes it is!
Thanks very much.
It is the best thing they ever made it is one of the best pellet gun designs I've ever seen and I personally would love to replicate it in 30 caliber
@@apexairsolutions Yeah man. Make it 30 cal and hpa. That would be sweet. Thanks for watching.
their marketing in the past few years have been bewildering to say the least.
Thanks for watching.
I picked up the pumper, BB rifle and the ten tins of the .177 pellets last year.🤠🇺🇸
The 100th anniversary rifle? How do you like it? I hear some complaints about the build quality.

@@HobbiesHobo Hey there Mike! Nice to hear from you again. The 600 pistol is pretty slick. Happy Holidays to you also. Thanks for watching.
Now can any one manufacture this type of pistols
I am sure it could be done. The closest modern version I can think of in a pcp format is the Huben GK1.
Gotta be due to the weight of the pistol.
@@johnnybbgunner2136 It is not heavy in my opinion.

Aw man, I can't wait to see that!!
We went from schnabel forearms to full plastics 😢😂
Variety is the spice of life.
@JaceBell Old spice used to smell better 🤔😂
Yes it did
Actually the only plastic in this video is on the grips of the pistol. Everything else is aluminum, steel, brass, or wood (on the rifle).
@JaceBell I was talking about the nicely shaped Woodstock at the beginning Vs what they offer nowdays haha
