Sorry for the long post but WHO can write a short note about such a genius ?
Unknown to most the man behind the sound of an era. Bert Berns certainly an enigma who’s story is captured in the fascinating tome “Here Comes the Night” - by Joel Selvin
Not a bad interview, but we do not need questions that are longer than the answers, or the interviewer interrupting Brett just as he starts to speak sensitively about his mother - or a noisy sound logo at the end. But then, to get things done, Bert was probably equally abrasive at times - watcha gonna do? ;-)
thats what i thought ,,though he was a private man he was well known in the music Industry.. i would think they would have taken a minute to praise this genious. .R.I.P. LUV XXXX you were one in a million...xxx wish i had been smitten with you also ... ;[
