@@thewinddb True, but as much as I hate being that guy, I'd still hope to see a little more technicality in a course than an oval. @@izzdin6228 The Charlotte Roval is a snooze fest to me. Admittedly... I dont like any road courses, but a flat road course slows down the action even more. My preference would be a road course with elevation changes and some banking... over a flat course.

I’ve noticed that Watkins Glen has been proficient with the race time length the last few years. 2 1/2 hours is perfect. Also great driving overall with everyone on the grid in the first stage. Wasn’t a full rain race and there were still incidents, but great car control for a lot of drivers not use to wet conditions
Genuinely happy to see Nascar start a race at this level with a wet status. If you're going to prove a point about the usability of a new platform, that's a great way to do it! Yes, they had the ability in the past but chose not to for, err, reasons. (Now that I think about it, I believe I've seen more truck races in the wet than Cup cars.) He got “Chastain’ed”, unfortunately😅 It was great to see Kimi actually enjoying himself out of F1, comes to show how much he was done with it. Heck, the Iceman smiled on the post crash interview, just for that this is the best race of the season for me😂
And yeah, Kimi was doing remarkably well. Every lap I’d check how he was doing until he was taken out. My inner F1 fan was enjoying watching him race outside the series I’ve been following since I was a toddler and I was kind of gutted that he retired from the race, but I enjoyed the race a lot nonetheless. These past couple of years NASCAR has grown on me
What a wild beginning of the race, too cool seeing them race on a wet track. Is it just me or does the fords not look like the street version? The grill area seem too big then the stock form. The chevys and Toyotas looks like they should. I really wish dodge would come back to nascar!!! The chargers would look sick.

Cautious seem to take twice as long. You look in the finish line/pit road stands and looked like there are barely more fans out there than are at my local dirt track. I understand there are more stands around the track but they dont look crowded or full at all. The only thing good about road races is more teams get on different pit strategies which I like... but still not worth watching in person or live. Although this move was intentional, I think that what happened in Auto Club was an honest mistake. However, the Next Gen car has been stated all over to have been designed to be able to drive road courses just as well as it can drive ovals.
