Hope this tragic loss of lives prompts other parents to become more proactive in their college/university student’s living spaces. This residence needed a camera, additional outdoor lighting, and basic security measures.
I’ve been thinking the same. Did you see that the fraternity allegedly had no security cams?

Narrowing down the other aspects, i.e. the location of the house, the people who lived there, visitors, etc. What a shame. Respect! Edit; I agree the offender did not anticipate Ethan being in the house. This evil individual only expected the girls that lived there to be in the house.

There is a video from the "Celebration of Life" event. It shows the stage where the dad was on the left, mother in the middle, Kaylee's old boyfriend on the right. When it was over the boyfriend hugged the mom and glared hard at the dad. When the dad finally looked at him, the boyfriend kept giving an evil look at the dad. The dad walked away and the mom walked with the boyfriend. Ex
Oh wow .. not my interpretation at all. Mom hugged BF Dad looked at interaction BF looked up caught his eye Dad did not smile tuned away. The Das expression was more unfriendly then the BFS expression which was what I thought to be perplexed like he was seeking a warm interaction with The Dad and did not receive it. I did not interpret this as a glare at all??
Besides all of the rumours swirling around and finger pointing, the other day I stopped to get gas. I noticed a display case by the counter, so I walked over and immediately noticed one of these knives for sale for $25. You can just about buy them anywhere.Thank you for the interesting information. Guys, that cinderblock set-up is right next to a grill and a bag of charcoal. The residents could have been using it as a spot to place cooked food in a pan or something.
My first assessment too (though I did’t comment on it). Perhaps it doubled as a place to set the charcoal bag to raise it off the wet, icy or snowy ground.

It would be interesting to know why the light wasn’t functioning. That is, was it a benign reason for it not to be working … or had someone in a premeditated way caused it not to be working in order to commit this crime on a future date. Does anyone know why the light wasn’t working?
The offender could have walked there and walked back to his apt or car.
Notice the houses on the other side of the crime scene. They have windows with unobstructed views of the kitchen windows, sliding door, and 3rd floor windows.
A big but is , that it was pitch black and at 3am on a cold night those residents would be asleep .
Finally, I've found some Real people who know what they are talking about. This is real .

The perpetrator had to know how he'd get in. I wonder if he may have been at the house before anyone arrived home, found an open sliding door, and unlatched the window from the inside, then returned when he was confident everyone was asleep. How bold he was to enter a home with 6 occupants. This is why I think there were two actors.
Getting out without leaving a bloody messy trail would have been the hard part. I think he may have showered and changed there after the murders. Check the drain.
Maybe the offender knocked the light out, so he could sit undetected and watch them.

I believe Law enforcement is watching someone VERY closely. Otherwise they would have given some info to public. Sketch. Home camera images from surrounding homes. They are not asking for public help, this tells me they have someone in mind.

@@trextrextrex Their age has them conditioned to think in terms of the way they drive at this point in their life. It has nothing to do with what a fit, excited young man is capable of when he has a goal. Young man could have come in from literally any direction on foot and not by car.

Agree, I sense Ethan came out, likely benignly to go to the bathroom or kitchen, and confronted the suspect, and Xana heard something and was killed in the bedroom. Collateral damage. 😔
Thoughts: I'd love to hear what you think: 1. Seems like there would have to be 2 offenders since both rooms had 2 people to subdue and kill - even if they were asleep. One would have to wake even if the other was killed quickly. Very strong and able offender. It would wear a person out for sure to just stab ONE person that many times.
2. How could someone get out without leaving a blood trail? There was even blood dripping outside the house at Xana's room.
Planned ahead wearing head to toe coverings which were put in a bag before leaving , taken and burnt .

At this point Im at a loss. In the beginning i had an idea but now with some other things I have seen that are not ridiculous accusations but have been put out there for the world to see some disturbing stuff and they have names and faces and are close to this case. I don't know what the police know or don't know. Today I don't have much of clue whatsoever who did this thing or why. I felt more sure in the beginning about possible persons. Not now. I hope the authorities know plenty just keeping quiet. That's for the best as we have seen things and information can get unmanageable real fast. That could end in justice denied.

It was you guys who were originally looking at that window with the grill beside it, I remember. It's not directly on the patio by the slider, it's more farther off. People who know that house have said it is the bedroom of the former roommate that moved out & it could be the entry way how they got in, maybe they unlocked it previously. It is on the 2nd floor. That room is also right under Maddie's room, where the girls were found on the 3rd floor. Believe there is a cabinet inside that room that has blood coming down onto it from above. They probably used that room for other reasons b/c it was an empty room so there could have been plenty of stuff inside there. Also, if you notice your footage coming up beside the house from the back- that is also the 1st window closest to the wooded area to get into.
I first didn't believe it when you said that, but now I am wondering if you could be right about that- the backyard paved sliders had lights strung up they had lit up each night. Was it lit up that night, not sure- but it is darker by this window you guys originally said could be the entry point. Who knows for positive, but good call & observation way before anyone was thought this.
Kaylee was only there now to pack up her things to leave. She was graduating from the school this week, so packing up all her things would have been important to her- heard she was only here for just few days to get her stuff. This is why I personally believe she slept in Maddie's room- because boxes might have been everywhere & all over her bed that night. They went out on a Sunday night. Could have been the last time she was gonna be able to go out with her best friend to celebrate her achievement of graduation.
Then this would be a neighbor or someone familiar with the house. Maybe someone that use to live or spent a great time in the house.
So just started watching but the back of the house interests me where it's dark. I wonder if sub was on foot? The cinderblock wasent needed but makes it easier maybe to sneak in? Also, something about the dog bothers me. Is it possible he knew the dog and put it in Kaylees room??

Where is the cctv footage from the bar that night? Why haven't they shown that asking if anyone can identify someone or at least someone that was there at the same time as the girls were?
If they had cctv the police have it but would not release that information to the public. They are in the middle of an investigation.
This is a great visual Chris. Thank you. I can see how Jack S would see and hunt them from his apartment there. He would be expected in the area not seen as a stranger creeping around. Perfect hunting ground. Wow. He could lay coyotes on the steps of nearby Greek houses, threaten people with his knife from his bike, skin the neighbors dog etc all while walking and biking quietly. It would make him feel powerful instead of inept as he fantasized about control over his victims. Saturday night when K returned for the weekend and they shunned him at the corner bar and later the grub truck, he put his fantasy into action and snuck right back up the street quickly in the dark to his apartment IMHO only 😢

Also, YES, the crime scene was expanded. I was watching the D.C. homicide detective who works with Fox News and he was talking on Fox News from the crime scene right outside on that road you were walking on on the back side of the house and he put the local cops on blast (I thought Uh Oh, they won't want to share things with him if he's embarrassing them) and he said the cops didn't seem to appear to have searched (looked closely) through the back area of the house on the side because he said the leaves weren't brushed through very much (although the Fox News host said, well maybe those leaves fell after the fact) but he was really blasting the cops and then within 30 minutes of him saying this live on TV the cops expanded the scene and that same D.C. homicide guy put them on blast again and said that 30 minutes after he said this stuff they expanded the scene and Fox literally showed them adding more tape, but I think it was in that back parking lot you walked in. Did they expand in other places, maybe. This was like the first week of the investigation.
Since Showalter is the latest suspect, I wonder when he met Kaylee and Maddy. Also if there are any pics (frat in nature) of Showalter somewhat lurking in the background. I say this from a friends experience who had a guy that became very angered because she wouldn't give him the time of day. He was so scary that we were all thinking that he was either going to hurt her or kill her. She inadvertently posted her whereabouts on social media. So he conveniently showed up everywhere.. We shut down all social media and she moved to another place that only few knew of. There are signs there, if you know what to look for. Maybe these Universities should have safety classes for young women. Anything would help.

It’s JS food truck guy . He is currently in Africa. His parents are well-known doctors who do a lot of work in other countries. The target was Kaylee and Madison. The only reason Ethan was killed is because he woke up and heard something going on so he got stabbed outside his bedroom door, and xana fought for her dear life to the bitter end. . Kaylee body was stabbed the most ….. I don’t know why the police don’t just wrap this up. They know who did it…

How can he leave the area if detectives are investigating a multi homicide ? Plus why would he make it so obvious living nextdoor, it's like "hello I did it now prove I did it". Guys got an alibi, and apparently detectives have proof of that alibi.
@@kencraig7308 also if he’s living next door then why is he not there? Why has he not come out and say hey I didn’t do it let me explain. in fact, nobody’s heard from him at all. And just because your parents give you an alibi doesn’t mean you have an alibi. Family does a lot of work in Kenya that they have a child that is adopted from there. They are in Africa.
@@ellaastroid3590 well for one he doesn't have to talk to anyone if his alibi checked out, and two I'm sure they have his DNA and prints, if he wasn't a match than he's not a suspect, understand what you're pointing at but wouldn't he have his passport revoked if he WAS a suspect ?
you would expect if they used that brick the bag of charcoal and what looks to be a water dish would be knocked over at 3am. I'm curious to know if the guy and girl that where found on 2nd floor brought someone else into the home that may have used the second room on that floor. The perp also had to know all 4 of them but didn't know the other 2 where on the first level. I also find it interesting that a dog was found in a room that was not apart of the crime. So the perp also had to know what rooms they all were in. very strange.
What about the Moscow incidents with a guy trying to get into a women's car, Her doors were locked. Other shenanigans in the area?
“If” it’s true that the guy at the food truck drove 5hours to his parents cabin and now is out if the country, his vehicle should be checked out.
and the cabin and garbage for evidence..or evidenced along the way.
On FB it’s said he gave dna, and furnished gas recipes for his trip that night? Not verified just posted on a FB post I saw

We also need to consider the weather from the time they were killed and the time the 911 call went out and the le showed up. If it were snowing oprints could have been covered up by snow.
A person could park right in that parking lot behind/by the hill with trees and brush. That parking lots apartments are situated in a way were tenants dont have windows faces the house. At 3 am no one is going to see someone slip out of a vehicle and walk that short distance into the wood area behind/on the side of the house. It is also to far away to be heard walking around/thru to a entrance. He could easily hop up on that 3rd balcony/sit in the corner under the girls window and with the trees and brush/hill behind him not be seen waiting. I think he planned on killing every one in the house going from the 3rd floor then down to second but he woke up the female sleeping next to the male(? the male was spending the night) she tried to get away but he caught her and killed her. This noise spooked him so he didnt get the chance to go to the bottom floor and kill the other 2 people and walk right out that front door along the front and right back up to his vehicle. He would of had to back track thru the house if he went in any other entry other then the 3rd(bottom to top his only out would be jumping down off the 3rd floor). He didnt want to take the risk of being caught so he left out the couples sliding door and right up thru the woods and drove off. Thats my thoughts anyway.
Couldn’t of driven off. Had to have walked out..meaning it’s someone who lives close, LE already said the a sense of cars driving in that are on biz cameras is telling
@@bohoxplorer840 You are correct I forgot about cameras around the area, but then again the police cant tell the public everything they have so you never know, But again -yes you are correct cameras would be a problem.
To me, no one should be 'cleared' until there is no match of their DNA to the crime scene.

Just my thought and it may sound crazy but would it be possible that he/she hit the wrong house? I saw while the camera was filming going down the road, there was another house straight ahead that looked very similar to the one that the teens were in. 2 minutes into this video.
Perp could have befriended girls as well. Came to a party or two. Approached each girl in a way to gain favor but then felt rejected by them. Bothered by their interest in other guys.

I’d like to know what you guys think about Jack “John” (I forgot the spelling of his last name). His alibi is weak, he said he left right after the girls left to drive 5 hours to his parent’s cabin. He also has a picture of when he shot an elk and field-dressed it. The amount of blood and guts in that picture is horrific, also there were two hunting-style knives in that picture. Kaylee is seen pointing at this guy and saying FU to him at that grub truck. Now, this guy (hoodie guy) is in Africa.
They should be able to verify his alibi, I would guess

We have no idea if any part of that is actually true. As far as leaving that night and leaving the country. From what I've been able to find, people are now saying it was part of a "psychic's" reading. I really hope that crap didn't blow up and go viral based on rumors and speculation.
