I kinda love the fact that when Crystal tried to kill Buster, he took it serious. It was not just for the joke, they where in danger. The movie didn't shrub it off, it was a real threat till the end.
Exactly what I was thinking! It wasn't just 'he tried to kill me but i survived, back to the plot!'. There was real fear and shock in Buster's voice/behavior after the event. Sing 2 got super dark super fast what with the abusive villain and realistic reactions to it, and I love thatm
nobody points out how at the end, when he's leaning and staring at the stage, that's how he watches at the beginning of the 1st movie and i think its extremely cute
Imagine a Sing franchise short film called, “Missing in Action” shown in the DVD release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 in 2026 based on the SpongeBob SquarePants episode, “Gone” where Buster Moon wakes up in his apartment one summer day in a happy mood and rides his bicycle over to Moon Theater to assemble the Moon Theater Family so that they can plan what their next big musical play should be. But once Buster arrives at Moon Theater, he discovers to his surprise and shock that none of its members have shown up, Buster Moon soon learns to his own shock and horror that everyone who lives in Catalonia and Redshore City including his own friends and all the other protagonists for the Sing franchise are gone! And that the cities themselves are deserted!
This causes a terrified Buster to run into the middle of Redshore City and shout, “Where did everybody go!” which echoes. th-cam.com/video/cry7cJbzB5A/w-d-xo.html Distraught over all his friends and family being gone, Buster tries to resume things in Redshore City and Catalonia and do everyone’s jobs and hobbies in their absences for several weeks but finds it extremely difficult to do all those different things at once causing Buster to finally go psycho until Mrs. Crawley and Eddie suddenly show up in a car in Catalonia with Buster being relieved that they had come back and questioned them on their absences and where everyone else went and Eddie tells Buster that is a surprise and he blindfolds Buster and he and Mrs. Crawley bring him onto the car and drive him to Los Angeles and to a fast-food restaurant called, “Flamingo Burger Joint” with its lights turned off and Eddie and Mrs. Crawley brings Buster Moon into the restaurant and removes the blindfold and turns on the lights and everyone including all of Catalonia and Redshore City’s residents and all the other protagonists in the Sing franchise jump out of hiding and shout, “Surprise!” surprising Buster and his friends with a surprise party they were planning for him! The party was not a surprise birthday party for Buster, because Buster’s birthday isn’t until next month, it was instead an appreciation day party, (So that was where everyone in Calatonia and Redshore City disappeared too during the last few weeks, they were not abandoning Buster they were just planning a surprise Buster Moon appreciation day party for him.) Buster Moon appreciation day to praise and thank and appreciate Buster for being such a great friend to all the other protagonists from the Sing franchise and act grateful towards Buster for turning nobodies into somebodies and for all the great things they have done for them in their lives:

I have no idea why his character is just so endearing. A lot of people hate these types of movies because there's no real reason they NEED to be animals and it's "just another jukebox movie", but something about Moon (and all the character, tbh) are just really wholesome and endearing. They don't feel 1 dimensional or flat even though they kind of are just all stereotypes. These movies just have that spark that makes it all work, I dunno.
A combination of charismatic performance from the actor and all-in dedication from the animators. Like, literally - they didn’t NEED to put this much effort into the first movie, they definitely didn’t need to care this much for the SEQUEL, but they DID, and because they did, we appreciate it that much more.
Family - His mother died when he was just a baby, he doesn’t even know how it feels like to have a mom. That’s why he had stronger and deeper connection for his father - Ms. Crawly is an old friend of Buster’s father. She was already around the Moon family when Buster was just a kid, so Buster developed a kind of grandchild - grandmother relationship with her. Since she was there from the beginning, he can’t imagine his life without her. - His father died soon after he bought the theatre for Buster (Buster was 36 then). He didn’t even have a chance to show his first performance on that stage. Buster kind of believes that his father died because he exhausted himself in work for him. So with this guilt in his heart, he’s willing to do anything to make something great on that stage that people would love, so his father’s sacrifice wouldn’t go to waste.
The fact that he has to make everyone comfortable while doing the show is so HEARTWARMING💞 like that time when Meena is nervous, he changed the song so she would be comfortable with the song, and the way he asked to Rosita (don't know if i spelled her name right) "you didn't tell me you're afraid of hights?" Like bjdkndosndj😭💖✋ he's such a true leader💖
Suki is honestly such a homie for (although it seems mean at first) not wanting Buster and the other Moon Theatre actors to go to Redshore City and going to Crystal, because she knows how horrible Crystal is, helping Buster get away from Crystal and telling him to leave town, helping Buster during the entirety of the show, having Crystal arrested, and then telling them about the other theatre that wanted to put on "Out Of This World". She's honestly SUCH a homie.
I like how Buster Moon and Suki Lane sorta had a difficult relationship at first caused by Suki’s haughty and pessmistic and cynical nature which prevented her from connecting with anyone which Buster disapproved of due to his optimistic and humble nature but slowly developed into a friendship as the story progressed and as Suki resolves her character flaws the two become friends and might become a romantic couple and get married and have kids to raise (If Suki returns in Sing 3, she might not.) just like Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in the Zooptoia franchise and Poppy and Branch in the Trolls franchise plus Ember and Wade’s in Elemental (2023). (Buster and Suki’s relationship is also similar to Fix It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun’s in the Wreck-It-Ralph franchise like how Nick and Judy’s relationship is similar to Flynn and Rapunzel’s in Tangled (2010))
Ok I just thought of this random theory and I thought I’d say it.. *what if Suki actually enjoyed the show very much but didn’t let Buster and the gang go into the big leagues because she knows how terrible her boss is and doesn’t want them to get hurt*
Seriously I got no idea why so many people I know hate him. Yes lying sucks but he’s literally doing the right thing for his friends. Many people irl do the same kind of things or have done crazy things in order to achieve their dreams. He’s so supportive, optimistic, and he was willing to even help the villain’s DAUGHTER. He also wanted to help Crystal. Even in the first movie he was kind to everyone through and through. Yeah he got angry but it’s understandable. He never did give up on anyone only when he gave up on himself. And come on the guy is so adorable ;-;
They also make a point that it wasn't the lying that ruined everything in the second movie either. That was figured out pretty quickly and he was let off with a (albeit VERY severe) warning. He actually committed to that promise and got Clay and the project stabilised, only for Crystal to snap anyway due to some dumb misunderstanding that wasn't even Buster's doing. I like how despite his flaws, Buster contrasted Jimmy well in the second film, he isn't a tyrant with lackeys, he nurtures talent and lets his posse have a role. He promotes Gunter, the goofy comic relief to his idea man the moment he shows creative abiltiies, he works with and confides in Ash, a moody teen who argued with him the whole first film, and he pushes for Rosita to get her dream role despite her phobia and the Crystals' interference (an act of trust that LITERALLY saves his life in the end). Hell, the guy was willing to DIE so his team could get their big performance.
While it's pretty understandable why SpongeBob and Sandy Cheeks have no romantic interests or spouses or kids in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise, for SpongeBob it is due to being a sea sponge that produces asexually and for Sandy its due to being a non-romance kind of squirrel and SpongeBob and Sandy have no romance with each other, and while the reason behind Po, (He isn’t even in love with Tigress well kind of.) the Furious Five, Zhen, Shifu and Gaogramry and Li Shan and Mr. Ping have no love interests, spouses or current kids in the Kung Fu Panda franchise, some of the protagontists and antagontists are kung fu martial artists who devote their lives into teaching the art of kung fu instead of starting families of their own like the Jedi and Sith in the Star Wars franchise while Mr. Ping and Li Shan also choose never to get remarried after Li Shan lost his first wife and Po’s mother and give Po an adoptive mother or stepmother.

OMG, the look on Buster Moon's face as he's riding his bike to catch up with Suki starting at 0:43 is just so funny and cute! It's like he's saying, "Hey, Suki! Wait up! I got more to tell you!" I like to call the Sing movies feel-great films!
Friends - mostly after the theatre is reopened - Buster is the dad-friend… not quite in the “dad jokes and being overprotective” way. He’s more like a supporting, inspiring dad-friend who tries to bring out the best from his friend. He would be in the first row, clapping and cheering everytime when one of his friends has a performance if he wouldn’t have to stay behind the scenes. - However, Rosita is stronger than him. She is the ultimate mom-friend, even for Buster. Which always feels strange and embarrassing for him for not being familiar with having an actual mom. - Talking about Rosita she and Norman helps Buster with calculating his finances since he was always bad with saving money (and those two are good in it. they have a lot of kids and that’s requires a lot of money) - Also, Rosita often pops in just to make sure Buster had proper lunch that day - When it’s about a new play, he often ask Rosita to design the scenery - He doesn’t spend too much time with Gunter, but when he’s around, Buster always feels energetic and motivated. He hired him as their choreographer. - Johnny is the “son-friend” for him, and he’s kind of mad at his father for not realizing Johnny’s talent sooner. However, when the father came out from jail, knowing it would be hard to find a good job with criminal record, Buster offered a job to him to help Eddie as a stagehand and help with carrying and organizing heavy stuffs. He accepted the offer with one clause: his son have to be a permanent rapporteur in the theatre. Sound like a good deal for both of them. - Ash is one of the kids he’s the proudest of. He makes sure her song writing goes well and supports her. - He wants to be the first one who hears Ash’ new songs. Often ask her to write songs for his new plays - She called him dad at some point - When it’s about Meena, he’s the ultimate dad-friend without noticing it. - They have a special student-mentor relationship which is almost like a daughter-dad relationship. - He made a “good-luck-habit” from leading Meena to the stage with holding hands. (fun fact: Meena did the same when Buster had his first singing performance on the stage) - Knowing how hard Buster tries to take care of everyone and how much it drains him, Meena often makes him cakes and other sweets. - Mike disappeared after their big show, and he’s quite sad about is, since Buster honestly loved his voice. - Since the theatre is on Nana’s name and she gives the money for the shows, if Buster has a new idea, he has to convince her at first it’s going to be good. Slowly but surely she learns to trust in him.
5:35 right here if you look closer you actually see that Moon is already where he wouldn't be able to reach Jimmy's arm the rest of the movie is just everyone hallucinating Moon's existence
I noticed recently that Moon has framed headshots of everyone but Mike...you have to wonder if they thought he bailed on them at the end of the first movie or if they heard something about him not being around anymore. Tho a clever cameo would be to have him on one of the ads in the city, but just very small so it was easily missed.
Looking up what John C. Reilly was doing around the time Sing 2 was likely being made, he probably didn't have time to voice Eddie and there wasn't a decent way to have him just make a cameo without it making no sense. The other possibility is that between the two movies he actually found something he wanted to do and moved out of his parents' pool house. Enough time has passed for Buster to have his own place outside of the theater after all.
Actually Eddie appeared on a magazine sitting on a table (I have to find the scene again to remember when) but yea I think he left for modeling jobs. But also he could’ve had like a two minute FaceTime with buster or he could’ve texted him or something just to confirm where he was
I hope Eddie reappears in Sing 3, though Sing 2 was fun for how it played with new roles when a key player wasn't there. Buster had to get Ash and Gunter to help him out in the actual production process, and we got some fun character dynamics.

This was really great. I think I took closer to 30 minutes to watch this whole video because I kept going back and watching certain parts over and over. Maybe for future videos, keeping in the theme of Sing, you could make a compilation of different characters' greatest moments. Johnny, Rosita, etc.

Colleges years, and Eddie - He met Eddie in the college where they both studied about theatre and stuff. They probably went on the same major, though their motive was different. Buster did it, because his big dream was to be a showman and host a million great shows and entertain. While Eddie was there only because his family sent him and didn’t take a “no” as an answer. - While Eddie cared a little about this school - since he wasn’t interested in theatres - and he was satisfied with getting only Cs and Ds, Buster tried his best to get only As. Not just because of his dream, but good grades was important to keep his scholarship. Since his family was kind of poor - the money his father earned was meant to be for the theatre -, the only way he could study in a good college was a scholarship - So Buster was stressed out in 24/7, to calm him down; Eddie often called him over to play videogames. - The reason they stayed together was probably because Buster considered Eddie as a way to Nana Noodleman and success at first. But realized he has much more inside when Eddie helped him out without asking, so Buster could stay in the college when he got some bad grades an lost his scholarship. (Basically, Buster wouldn’t be able to keep studying and fulfilling his dream without Eddie’s help. And he’s thankful for that.) - However, this led Buster in that idea that he can lean on Eddie’s financial support anytime he really needs - and he always “really needs”. - Eddie is the voice of reason, no matter what Buster wants to do. Sometimes it annoys the showman, sometimes that’s what he needs to find better solutions for his problems. - Not in the way Eddie wants. - Eddie’s the realist, introvert and serious friend who wants to stay out of troubles, while Buster is the whole opposite; he’s an idealist, extrovert and crazy one. - When the Moon Theatre was reopened, Buster officially hired Eddie as their stagehand, since Eddie fell in love with that job and wanted to keep doing it.

I still love how they ended the second movie as a call back to how the first movie opened. Really nice bookends, shows that Buster still has that love of theater in his heart.

The last time i saw a movie with McConaughey he was this ruthless drug kingpin. "The King of the Jungle." And then here he's... sweet... kinda charming.... and very scared for his life.
Personality - It’s his god and bad habit to do anything for his goals. Even if it leads to consume himself and the things around him. Which means: * He doesn’t care if it’s self-destructive, he’s gonna stay up late for figuring out some new, hopefully successful show, or finding a way to save some money and actually being able to buy food for himself * So yep, he doesn’t sleep too much and he got used to that. He drinks more coffee than water * Maybe you think he’s energetic and stuff, but that’s just the power of the coffee. You don’t want to deal with the tired, grumpy and frustrated Buster when he’s out of coffee. * He can get up in the morning quite easily, but he really needs coffee, please, that’s the key of his energy and sanity!! * He bottles up way too much emotions, mostly the bad and stressing one. Not just because he always wants to show his best to the people to make them believe everything is fine. He also doesn’t want to deal with those problems, he wants to make himself believe that everything is going to be okay. * Conclusion: He’s a big liar, even to himself. And he lies so well, no one can tell what’s the truth - except Nana and Eddie. * Sometimes he’s so into reaching his goals he forgets about his loved ones needs and life. He tends to get his friends into troubles, and places his needs before the others, even though he would do anything for his friends. It’s just an old habit and it dies hard. * You know he went too far with pushing himself when he actually hits the rock-bottom. Then every repressed sadness, fear and stress comes out and he’s more depressed than anyone could be. It happens rarely, but then he feels everything at once and that kinda kills him every time. - The original version of Golden slumbers from The Beatles was his father’s favorite song, they often listened it together and it became Buster’s comfort-song. If he needs to calm down or let out a little from his pain he hums or even sings the song without noticing - It happened during his colleges years too, so Eddie knew it’s an important song for him. So, when the theatre collapsed and Buster stayed by Eddie, he played the song to cheer Buster up but in that situation it only led to lot of tears and sobbing, because that song was also his father’s song. - Speaking about songs: he’s a big fan of the Eurovision. It’s a huge show, why wouldn’t he love it? He totally makes his afternoon free to be able to watch a stream and he probably calls Eddie a million times, shouting how awesome this or that performance was and why can’t Americans join to this, he would send the best singer ever, this is unfair… Eddie is a hero for actually listening him and not yelling at him to stop.
Even himself doesn’t know what’s his sexuality. But he’s probably aromantic since he’s only interested in good shows and performances. But having a relationship? Please, he has his theatre, he doesn’t need another lady in his life. - He’s also open minded. Uses the “All creatures great and small” welcoming, ‘cause ladies and gentlemen is too mainstream and he also doesn’t want to make differences in genders.
What was Mr. Crystals plan with killing Mr. Moon? Did he really think he'd get away with the very public way he was trying to murder him? The first time was off his building which everyone down below would have seen him kersplat then he tries to drop him in front of a live studio audience.
It's always as a sign of their character development with him too. Rosita saved him during her dream role that Buster had pushed to get her in (despite her phobia and Jimmy's threats), while Suki saved him after realising she had put all her chips on a total bastard.
@@e-122psi3 on the Heroes wiki it says that Buster manipulates, maybe they know this about him and yet Buster's friends and I think he's grateful for it, that's why he does so many crazy things for others, even if someone would kill him for it like Crystal. if there are 3 parts, maybe Crystal will return.
i already commented but i love how the whole 'crystal tried to kill buster' was a lasting urgency throughout the movie after it had happened the first time. i would love to see that more in sing 3 and what triggers his trauma and WHO triggers his trauma.

Sing 2 has come down to be my second favourite movie. One of my favourite parts, which I call the "Craziest Meeting world record": 0:46, on a bike racing a taxi XD. I kinda love the fact that when Crystal tried to kill Buster, he took it serious. It was not just for the joke, they where in danger. The movie didn't shrub it off, it was a real threat till the end.

Imagine a Sing franchise short film called, “Missing in Action” shown in the DVD release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 in 2026 based on the SpongeBob SquarePants episode, “Gone” where Buster Moon wakes up in his apartment one summer day in a happy mood and rides his bicycle over to Moon Theater to assemble the Moon Theater Family so that they can plan what their next big musical play should be. But once Buster arrives at Moon Theater, he discovers to his surprise and shock that none of its members have shown up, Buster Moon soon learns to his own shock and horror that everyone who lives in Catalonia and Redshore City including his own friends and all the other protagonists for the Sing franchise are gone! And that the cities themselves are deserted!

The party was not a surprise birthday party for Buster, because Buster’s birthday isn’t until next month, it was instead an appreciation day party, (So that was where everyone in Calatonia and Redshore City disappeared too during the last few weeks, they were not abandoning Buster they were just planning a surprise Buster Moon appreciation day party for him.) Buster Moon appreciation day to praise and thank and appreciate Buster for being such a great friend to all the other protagonists from the Sing franchise and act grateful towards Buster for turning nobodies into somebodies and for all the great things they have done for them in their lives:

I have no idea why his character is just so endearing. A lot of people hate these types of movies because there's no real reason they NEED to be animals and it's "just another jukebox movie", but something about Moon (and all the character, tbh) are just really wholesome and endearing. They don't feel 1 dimensional or flat even though they kind of are just all stereotypes. These movies just have that spark that makes it all work, I dunno.

- Ms. Crawly is an old friend of Buster’s father. She was already around the Moon family when Buster was just a kid, so Buster developed a kind of grandchild - grandmother relationship with her. Since she was there from the beginning, he can’t imagine his life without her.
- His father died soon after he bought the theatre for Buster (Buster was 36 then). He didn’t even have a chance to show his first performance on that stage. Buster kind of believes that his father died because he exhausted himself in work for him. So with this guilt in his heart, he’s willing to do anything to make something great on that stage that people would love, so his father’s sacrifice wouldn’t go to waste.

She's honestly SUCH a homie.
And people are crazy for not realizing that.
I like how Buster Moon and Suki Lane sorta had a difficult relationship at first caused by Suki’s haughty and pessmistic and cynical nature which prevented her from connecting with anyone which Buster disapproved of due to his optimistic and humble nature but slowly developed into a friendship as the story progressed and as Suki resolves her character flaws the two become friends and might become a romantic couple and get married and have kids to raise (If Suki returns in Sing 3, she might not.) just like Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in the Zooptoia franchise and Poppy and Branch in the Trolls franchise plus Ember and Wade’s in Elemental (2023). (Buster and Suki’s relationship is also similar to Fix It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun’s in the Wreck-It-Ralph franchise like how Nick and Judy’s relationship is similar to Flynn and Rapunzel’s in Tangled (2010))

Seriously I got no idea why so many people I know hate him. Yes lying sucks but he’s literally doing the right thing for his friends. Many people irl do the same kind of things or have done crazy things in order to achieve their dreams. He’s so supportive, optimistic, and he was willing to even help the villain’s DAUGHTER. He also wanted to help Crystal. Even in the first movie he was kind to everyone through and through. Yeah he got angry but it’s understandable. They also make a point that it wasn't the lying that ruined everything in the second movie either. That was figured out pretty quickly and he was let off with a (albeit VERY severe) warning. He actually committed to that promise and got Clay and the project stabilised, only for Crystal to snap anyway due to some dumb misunderstanding that wasn't even Buster's doing.
I like how despite his flaws, Buster contrasted Jimmy well in the second film, he isn't a tyrant with lackeys, he nurtures talent and lets his posse have a role. He promotes Gunter, the goofy comic relief to his idea man the moment he shows creative abiltiies, he works with and confides in Ash, a moody teen who argued with him the whole first film, and he pushes for Rosita to get her dream role despite her phobia and the Crystals' interference (an act of trust that LITERALLY saves his life in the end). Hell, the guy was willing to DIE so his team could get their big performance.
While it's pretty understandable why SpongeBob and Sandy Cheeks have no romantic interests or spouses or kids in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise, for SpongeBob it is due to being a sea sponge that produces asexually and for Sandy its due to being a non-romance kind of squirrel and SpongeBob and Sandy have no romance with each other, and while the reason behind Po, (He isn’t even in love with Tigress well kind of.) the Furious Five, Zhen, Shifu and Gaogramry and Li Shan and Mr. Ping have no love interests, spouses or current kids in the Kung Fu Panda franchise, some of the protagontists and antagontists are kung fu martial artists who devote their lives into teaching the art of kung fu instead of starting families of their own like the Jedi and Sith in the Star Wars franchise while Mr. Ping and Li Shan also choose never to get remarried after Li Shan lost his first wife and Po’s mother and give Po an adoptive mother or stepmother.

Friends - mostly after the theatre is reopened
- Buster is the dad-friend… not quite in the “dad jokes and being overprotective” way. He’s more like a supporting, inspiring dad-friend who tries to bring out the best from his friend. He would be in the first row, clapping and cheering everytime when one of his friends has a performance if he wouldn’t have to stay behind the scenes.
- However, Rosita is stronger than him. She is the ultimate mom-friend, even for Buster. Which always feels strange and embarrassing for him for not being familiar with having an actual mom.
- Talking about Rosita she and Norman helps Buster with calculating his finances since he was always bad with saving money (and those two are good in it. they have a lot of kids and that’s requires a lot of money)
- Also, Rosita often pops in just to make sure Buster had proper lunch that day
- When it’s about a new play, he often ask Rosita to design the scenery
- He doesn’t spend too much time with Gunter, but when he’s around, Buster always feels energetic and motivated. He hired him as their choreographer.
- Johnny is the “son-friend” for him, and he’s kind of mad at his father for not realizing Johnny’s talent sooner. However, when the father came out from jail, knowing it would be hard to find a good job with criminal record, Buster offered a job to him to help Eddie as a stagehand and help with carrying and organizing heavy stuffs. He accepted the offer with one clause: his son have to be a permanent rapporteur in the theatre. Sound like a good deal for both of them.
- Ash is one of the kids he’s the proudest of. He makes sure her song writing goes well and supports her.
- He wants to be the first one who hears Ash’ new songs. Often ask her to write songs for his new plays
- She called him dad at some point
- When it’s about Meena, he’s the ultimate dad-friend without noticing it.
- They have a special student-mentor relationship which is almost like a daughter-dad relationship.
- He made a “good-luck-habit” from leading Meena to the stage with holding hands. (fun fact: Meena did the same when Buster had his first singing performance on the stage)
- Knowing how hard Buster tries to take care of everyone and how much it drains him, Meena often makes him cakes and other sweets.
- Mike disappeared after their big show, and he’s quite sad about is, since Buster honestly loved his voice.
- Since the theatre is on Nana’s name and she gives the money for the shows, if Buster has a new idea, he has to convince her at first it’s going to be good. Slowly but surely she learns to trust in him.

I noticed recently that Moon has framed headshots of everyone but Mike...you have to wonder if they thought he bailed on them at the end of the first movie or if they heard something about him not being around anymore. Tho a clever cameo would be to have him on one of the ads in the city, but just very small so it was easily missed.
Looking up what John C. Reilly was doing around the time Sing 2 was likely being made, he probably didn't have time to voice Eddie and there wasn't a decent way to have him just make a cameo without it making no sense. The other possibility is that between the two movies he actually found something he wanted to do and moved out of his parents' pool house. Enough time has passed for Buster to have his own place outside of the theater after all.
Actually Eddie appeared on a magazine sitting on a table (I have to find the scene again to remember when) but yea I think he left for modeling jobs. But also he could’ve had like a two minute FaceTime with buster or he could’ve texted him or something just to confirm where he was
I hope Eddie reappears in Sing 3, though Sing 2 was fun for how it played with new roles when a key player wasn't there. Buster had to get Ash and Gunter to help him out in the actual production process, and we got some fun character dynamics.

This was really great. I think I took closer to 30 minutes to watch this whole video because I kept going back and watching certain parts over and over. Maybe for future videos, keeping in the theme of Sing, you could make a compilation of different characters' greatest moments. Johnny, Rosita, etc.
I hope to do just that! I'm not sure why this video preformed so poorly compared to the other one, but I hope to continue this trend with most of the characters!!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :D

Colleges years, and Eddie
- He met Eddie in the college where they both studied about theatre and stuff. They probably went on the same major, though their motive was different. Buster did it, because his big dream was to be a showman and host a million great shows and entertain. While Eddie was there only because his family sent him and didn’t take a “no” as an answer.
- While Eddie cared a little about this school - since he wasn’t interested in theatres - and he was satisfied with getting only Cs and Ds, Buster tried his best to get only As. Not just because of his dream, but good grades was important to keep his scholarship. Since his family was kind of poor - the money his father earned was meant to be for the theatre -, the only way he could study in a good college was a scholarship
- So Buster was stressed out in 24/7, to calm him down; Eddie often called him over to play videogames.
- The reason they stayed together was probably because Buster considered Eddie as a way to Nana Noodleman and success at first. But realized he has much more inside when Eddie helped him out without asking, so Buster could stay in the college when he got some bad grades an lost his scholarship. (Basically, Buster wouldn’t be able to keep studying and fulfilling his dream without Eddie’s help. And he’s thankful for that.)
- However, this led Buster in that idea that he can lean on Eddie’s financial support anytime he really needs - and he always “really needs”.
- Eddie is the voice of reason, no matter what Buster wants to do. Sometimes it annoys the showman, sometimes that’s what he needs to find better solutions for his problems. - Not in the way Eddie wants.
- Eddie’s the realist, introvert and serious friend who wants to stay out of troubles, while Buster is the whole opposite; he’s an idealist, extrovert and crazy one.
- When the Moon Theatre was reopened, Buster officially hired Eddie as their stagehand, since Eddie fell in love with that job and wanted to keep doing it.
Cool headcanons, I enjoyed reading that!! I would be cool if they gave us a section about buster and Eddie in college in the movie instead of just a few little nods to it here and there

Personality
- It’s his god and bad habit to do anything for his goals. Even if it leads to consume himself and the things around him. Which means:
* He doesn’t care if it’s self-destructive, he’s gonna stay up late for figuring out some new, hopefully successful show, or finding a way to save some money and actually being able to buy food for himself
* So yep, he doesn’t sleep too much and he got used to that. He drinks more coffee than water
* Maybe you think he’s energetic and stuff, but that’s just the power of the coffee. You don’t want to deal with the tired, grumpy and frustrated Buster when he’s out of coffee.
* He can get up in the morning quite easily, but he really needs coffee, please, that’s the key of his energy and sanity!!
* He bottles up way too much emotions, mostly the bad and stressing one. Not just because he always wants to show his best to the people to make them believe everything is fine. He also doesn’t want to deal with those problems, he wants to make himself believe that everything is going to be okay.
* Conclusion: He’s a big liar, even to himself. And he lies so well, no one can tell what’s the truth - except Nana and Eddie.
* Sometimes he’s so into reaching his goals he forgets about his loved ones needs and life. He tends to get his friends into troubles, and places his needs before the others, even though he would do anything for his friends. It’s just an old habit and it dies hard.
* You know he went too far with pushing himself when he actually hits the rock-bottom. Then every repressed sadness, fear and stress comes out and he’s more depressed than anyone could be. It happens rarely, but then he feels everything at once and that kinda kills him every time.
- The original version of Golden slumbers from The Beatles was his father’s favorite song, they often listened it together and it became Buster’s comfort-song. If he needs to calm down or let out a little from his pain he hums or even sings the song without noticing - It happened during his colleges years too, so Eddie knew it’s an important song for him. So, when the theatre collapsed and Buster stayed by Eddie, he played the song to cheer Buster up but in that situation it only led to lot of tears and sobbing, because that song was also his father’s song.
- Speaking about songs: he’s a big fan of the Eurovision. It’s a huge show, why wouldn’t he love it? He totally makes his afternoon free to be able to watch a stream and he probably calls Eddie a million times, shouting how awesome this or that performance was and why can’t Americans join to this, he would send the best singer ever, this is unfair… Eddie is a hero for actually listening him and not yelling at him to stop.

It's always as a sign of their character development with him too. Rosita saved him during her dream role that Buster had pushed to get her in (despite her phobia and Jimmy's threats), while Suki saved him after realising she had put all her chips on a total bastard.
@@e-122psi3 on the Heroes wiki it says that Buster manipulates, maybe they know this about him and yet Buster's friends and I think he's grateful for it, that's why he does so many crazy things for others, even if someone would kill him for it like Crystal. if there are 3 parts, maybe Crystal will return.

i already commented but i love how the whole 'crystal tried to kill buster' was a lasting urgency throughout the movie after it had happened the first time. i would love to see that more in sing 3 and what triggers his trauma and WHO triggers his trauma.

Sing 2 has come down to be my second favourite movie. One of my favourite parts, which I call the "Craziest Meeting world record": 0:46, on a bike racing a taxi XD. Porsha is basically my sister without the spoiled part, really XXXD
