Michael and I met in Vail many years ago and told me a story about the Clock Tower in Vail. A great story and on hell of a MUSCIAN and a great guy. RIP my friend. B
Was ‘78 before I heard MJ with the breakthrough hits. It’s great to hear the collection at TH-cam. He has what Croce, Taylor, and Stevens have. Great voice.
Michael Johnson is the best guitarist/singer I've heard; no one plays as well as sings as well......this Jackson Browne song is a good example......Michael kills it.....voice and guitar.
Fear not mfing I've been searching for this track for a long time. I used to own this beauty on vinyl and me an my boys caught Michael a myriad of times. I can remember him on campus at Macalster and the U of M at the Whole back in the mid 70s
MJ is back in the Twin Cites after living in Nashville for many years. He pops up in smaller venues and I catch him when I can. The first three albums came out on CD as a combo set called "The Early Years".
There's a train everyday leading me the way... There is a world to know there is a way to go And we'll soon be gone, it's jus as well, This is my opening farewell. ❤

Michael sings and plays with so much passion he pulls you right in! Thank you kindly for sharing.

I still have this wonderful album. Without the scratch.

R.I.P. Michael. We love you.
Love the vinyl. I used to go see MJ every chance I could. What a great performer.
My husband and I have liked Michael Johnson since the 70s. We have a 45 of Rooty Toot Toot for the Moon. Wish I could get in on iTunes.

+Chris Oace the CD set is actually "The Early Albums", sorry
Love this cover......I have the vinyl, but would love to have a cd version.
It's on the double CD set "The Early Albums" - excellent. www.mjblue.com/mjcd.html
I can't believe I'm the only commenter....whatever the means. The guy is a musical genius.
Michael Johnson performed this at North Hennepin Community College in the mid-70s. Didn’t realize it was JB song til later.
I like this cover more than the original. ❤
RIP Michael! :'(

I should have never spent my music lesson money playing pool.
Although we share the same name I'm the foolish one pal.
