I would 100% recommend Parasite! It’s not really the “scary” kind of thriller at all. I consider it a masterpiece and a must watch, an incredible social-drama with some fun dark humor

This is my favourite type of content from you. I highley recommend practically everything from Christopher Nolan. Parasite was not scary in a traditional sense but it will stick with you for a while. It was well deserving of best picture. And yes, the star of Get Out was from Fifteen Million Merits, the second episode of Black Mirror.
I adore movies so this was such a fun asmr concept. This is the time of year when I try to get caught up on a lot of the films that have gotten good reviews. If you liked American Psycho I think Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, and Parasite are all great movies and worth watching even though they are a bit more on the violent/disturbing side. They do offer very unique experiences and thought provoking social satire. I bet you'll really enjoy Inception too based on your taste. I hope you get to watch a good Christmas movie this weekend and have a lovely holiday season! :)

Yeah! But it’s illuminating because she’s probably a representation of the casual moviegoing audience. This video was fantastic too. It was great stuff. Of what I can see in this list, I recommend Inception for her. Not much else. Maybe knives out.
Parasite is great and not scary like I thought it would be, I was in the same mindset as you until I watched. The Joker is amazing and definitely more unsettling than Parasite. Also recommend the movie Decision to Leave, not scary at all. And Pulp Fiction is one of Quinten Tarantinos movies, he’s very famous for his style, they are overly bloody and over the top but are very well known. out of all of them you might like Kill Bill or Inglorious Bastards cause you like WW2
Get Out is cool. I love Jordan Peele's movies, especially Nope. Nope is really emotional and awesome. Get Out is scary and mind-bending, it's kinda like a Twilight Zone episode
Has seen Barbie but has not seen Fight Club... Fail. edit: Also hasn't seen Pulp Fiction either! ffs. Your friends fail. They should have exposed you to the better 90s movies by now. You need new friends.
