    I just bought this scale, my first one, and the instruction booklet was Tiny. I decided to find a video instead, and yours was perfect. I’m ready to use my scale now. 🙂. Thank you.

    Great video. Thank You. I was completely unaware of how to use the scale and the video showed me exactly how everything works.

    I bought an identical scale but under the "CestMall" brand name. The supplied instructions weren't clear or accurate but this video helped me to understand how it worked - especially counting and the meaning of all the scale abbreviations. Thanks Matthews for this excellent video! PS I've seen your other video on calibrating the scale; mine needs a 500g weight!

    Thanks for the clear video. I was too lazy to look for my scale's instructions, and couldn't remember how to set up the pieces counting mode. My scales look exactly the same, without the "AMIR" written on them. On the back it says "I-2000 Digital Scale, 3000g x 0.1g, Not legal for trade, Made in China". When I ordered it, the product description actually said it's up to 2000g, guess I got lucky. It does indeed measure up to 3 kg. The smaller clear plastic cover got a lot of cracks, despite careful handling (I also don't recall ever dropping the scales or the cover), I guess it's a very brittle plastic.

    I really like your explanation of how to use the "PCS" (pieces) function.
    However, the "auto-calibration" that you mentioned at 2:05 is incorrect. There is NO auto-calibration on this scale. What you showed was how to tare the bowl.
    To manually check the calibration on this and similar scales, after turning the scale on, press and hold the "M" button until "CAL" starts flashing on the screen.
    When ready to calibrate, press and release the "M" button again. The weight you will use to calibrate will start flashing on the screen (usually 100g). Place a verified 100g (or whatever weight is flashing) onto the weighing plate.
    IF the scale is calibrated corrected, it will then show "PASS" on the screen, otherwise, the scale is supposed to calibrate itself to the weight.

    it is not accurate unless you calibrate it for the range you want. You need to have standard weights of maybe 10g for light items and 1kg weights for heavy item to calibrate first before using

    Can I use it for counting smaller things than coins like screws. I have a box of screws labeled in 1000 pieces. I need to pack them individually in 100s. Can amir digital scale help with that task?

      3000-min 0.1 grams i think

    • @GenePavlovsky
      @GenePavlovsky 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      On the back of my scales the weight limit is stated (3000g x 0.1g), although the instruction manual lists several models with different weight limits. You can easily figure it out experimentally - turn them on, put some container on them (don't use the Tare button to zero them), then slowly add water to the container until they scales complain about overload. Stop at this moment, don't overload them much further or they might get damaged.

    • @DeWin157
      @DeWin157 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You cannot change the weight limit itself.

      Thanks! I tried, but it didn't work. So I bought Accuweight 207 digital kitchen multi function scale for only $16.99 and with very good reviews😍😍

    • @DeWin157
      @DeWin157 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Priston, you may have a calibration issue, which is easily remedied. What you do is to turn it on then hold down the mode button for 3 to 5 seconds, which will then flash CAL a few times then show a number, which is which calibration weight required, my 2Kg scale requires a 1Kg weight, which cost me less than $10 at the time when I bought it several years ago. As soon as you put the weight on it it will then flash PASS on the readout, and then your scale should be working again.
