I think he can block if the player is hitting, but can't block the passeur from doing a pass ? Which in that case is why LB are arguing. However, if the passeur looks like he's doing a 2nd (drop the ball directly) UCLA could've block ?? Not sure tho it looks close

thats a 1st tempo, guy jumped the same time the setter does and swung his arm when the ball was set minus tempo is setting the ball while the MB is already in swinging motion, meaning the set has to exactly arrive at the spiker's hand its like spiking the air and expecting some insane setter to place it on your hand's trajectory
