I remember watching No.6 and falling in love with Nezu, he was a mysterious badass whose past wasn't fully understood until later, I loved how he bonded with Shion after their first encounter and helped him. It was interesting with the plot and how romance was incorporated into this anime but I loved every second of it, NO.6 is the type of anime that doesn't seem interesting at first glance but the more you watch it progress you can't help but want to watch more

What i mean by this is that he probably just left to actually start enjoying life and discover who he really were, and then he would come back to Shion whether to tell him he loves him or just to be by his side, or see him. Idk if they would have a future together but he's alive in my opinion
