I cannot applaud you enough for this video coverage ir is something really special.
Although i have never visited there from my early years i recall being told about Yeji and seeing old pictures of there. Sadly to this day it looks the same.
As you rightly mentioned we have to be critical of successive governments because despite it being a major hub for transportation this place has been seriously neglected by visionless leaders !
Our food, goods and so many people pass through this place, if the road networks were better and water transport maximised everyone benefits. It can keep costs down. Never mind tourism if the network is good this would be a more favoured route for our Burkinabe, Nigerienne cousins etc to get around the sub-region.
I also find incredible the sheer size of this man made lake, it is like a sea. The crossing time is about the same as the ferry journey UK to France.
Credit to the hard working people of Ghana who make this place such a thriving hub.
Also more needs to be done about children being sent in to labour, it is a serious tragedy and deplorable.
Finally, Tom Cruise (Maverick) eat your heart out. Your heroic efforts to save the drone surpass any Top Gun movie. Maybe someone should make a blockbuster about your escapades.😆
    Orekodo !

Thank you Sindaco for saving the situation. If 90% of our food comes from Yeji but that town remains in this state, I don't know what to say. As for our leaders, the slogan is "aben w'aha". They know how to chop; they don't know how to generate. The women are forceful and industrous. The many teenagers and young men can do something but they can't get anything to do. Why wouldn't they steal? Our leaders are wasting these young lives.
Man, seeing those goods: fish, smoked and dry, plantain, oil. Just name it. They have it.
Interestingly, politicians go there to campaign. Dammit man!.

We could do with this mode of transport in Nigeria . It’s cheap. It will take lot of the traders and their wares to the markets and it is big enough to take lorries. Interesting.🤔 More importantly it will take traffic away from the roads.

You were lucky with the drone cos if you had delayed it would have done an emergency landing. I could hear May Day May Day 😂😂😂
I wanted to know how the ferry is maintained and where the funds go to cos in GH that thing could be going to and fro till it breaks down before they decide to do some servicing on it.

It really fun that the ferry only goes once a day hrrrrr Ghana. They have mechanical engineers on-board.
The company is volta Lake transport company so I believe it government property. I leant they have another ferry route from Akosombo to temale.
