      .5 oz maple syrup
      .75 oz cold brew coffee
1.5 oz cinnamon bourbon (not Fireball, but a cinnamon or cinnamon and clove infused bourbon)
2-3 dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters

It conjures the image of the jungle with both the coffee and tiger, and you said that it had more of an attack than the Blue Mountain King, so the tiger references this attack, and also the color scheme (almost black drink with orange peel) fits the colors.

As an Australian, I have been drinking and mixing Mr. Black for years.
My favorite mod for the coffee old-fashioned is as follows:
    30ml Mr. Black
60ml Single malt whiskey (Balvenie 12-year-old double wood)
    10ml maple syrup
    (NOT MAPLE FLAVORED SYRUP)
    4 dash of bitters
    Large twist if orange
    Stir and pour.

Light a cinnamon stick so it's smoldering on one end, dropped in to symbolize a cigar.
I give you "The Churchill breakfast".

@@MichaelThomas-qx8wb I think I went usually with a medium roast. But to be honest, I've done it with lots of different types of coffee, even fresh espresso. But cold brewed is the best with it I think. Oh and twist of orange in it to garnish is important too!

Thanks for the video. I made a drink with the Mr. Black I really like that I call "The Dark Between Stars"
2oz. Mr. Black (Or Jagermeister Cold Brew if you like a more botanical flavor.)
    1oz. of Bourbon
3-4 Pumps of Torani Chocolate Syrup
10-12oz. of your favorite Cold Brew Coffee (I like Stok.)
Directions: Pour everything into a tumbler with a big chunk of ice roughly the size of a good whiskey rock and stir.

Hi! I’m a participant in the ultra-niche competition “coffee in good spirits.” It’s a coffee cocktail competition put on through the s.c.a.
I got to compete in it and one of my favorite drinks I had was a riff on a penicillin. It uses all the normal base ingredients, but adds two ounces of iced coffee, an ounce of orange liqueur, and two ounces of sparkling water. Give it a shot some time.

The chiapparoni is fantastic. Ramazzoti works well for the amaro part. Using a local coffee liqueur. I've tried it with both lemon and orange, and the orange definitely has something a little extra. 0.25oz of Tuaca adds a nice little vanilla note as well!

Wow, a year since the last comment (just now getting to this episode). About the "Chiapparoni": I have to agree, you really did create something special here. I've just made one at home making some substitutions based on the fact that I haven't yet been able to get my hands on a bottle of Amaro Angostura, and keeping it equal parts more like a true Negroni (specs to follow). Even with substitutions, the brilliance of the concept comes through, the tequila being an inspired choice that just works. Thank you for creating it; it's now going to be one of my go-to coffee cocktails. Bravo!
    3/4oz Amaro Ramazzotti
    3/4oz Mr. Black
    3/4oz Reposado Tequila
    3 dashes Angostura Bitters
    2 dashes Chocolate Bitters
    Stirred. Over rocks, rocks glass.

Yes Greg! Get that Australian sponsor money 🤑 There’s an Australian bar called The Everleigh that does a spin on the cocktail ‘Coffee House’ by replacing rye with Tequila, and using Mr Black as the coffee liqueur. Somewhat like your old fashioned here but rejigged ratios so it’s 2:1 tequila to Mr Black, absolutely delicious stuff that I recommend trying!

A personal favorite of mine is a modified version of a drink called “Churchill’s Breakfast” Cocktail Chemistry made. I modified it to be a little less spirit forward and as a way to incorporate the cinnamon better.
    .5 oz maple syrup
    .75 oz cold brew coffee
1.5 oz cinnamon infused bourbon (not Fireball)
    2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
Stir with ice and strain into a Nick and Nora glass

So, this is being a quite out-there of me, but since you were mentioning how you were just trying things out and they came out better than expected, I have my own original coffee based cocktail that is frankly a delight, if you would like to try it:
    Dark Fantasy-
1 ounce cold brew (can also use hot coffee, but needs to be fresh, real coffee, not instant)
    1 ounce Kahlua
    1 ounce vodka
half a stick of cinnamon, broken into small pieces (no need to be precise, just break it into 4-5 pieces)
2 dashes Bitter Truth's aromatic bitters.
Shake everything over ice and strain into a coupe.
IMPORTANT: garnish with grated nutmeg, it really does make all the difference.
