Qurbani means sacrifice. The meat of the animal meant for Qurbani is distributed to the poor, and family and friends. The animal meant for Qurbani has to meet certain rules. Such as, it shouldn’t be underage, it shouldn’t be sick, it shouldn’t be dead, it shouldn’t be one that’s used for farming etc.
