This game is definitely a welcomed breath of fresh air. Its about time we get a Jaws Unleashed successor.

I kinda wish they incorporated some of Jaws unleashed bite mechanics, where you can choose a different part of a human part to bite off and it's super cool.
@@darthrevan454 Yeah, it's not really as much of a successor as it is a cheesy, half asses attempt at it, imo. The gameplay looks super...bland, and repetitive. Plus it does not look at all satisfying to kill things, and your shark doesn't actually get to be very big.
Maneater is very different from Jaws Unleashed.

Pretty interesting that the "Mass Rating“ is only like 50% on the Mega. This could be a hint that there’s something bigger coming in the future.

Sometimes I kinda wish it were possible to revert back to the smaller forms - I know it doesn't make much sense but it would be cool to just play a regular ol' adult Bull Shark again, or return to baby form for a "small fish in a big pond" experience.
Plus if they added that feature, the devs could create a much larger evolution without breaking the game and preventing you from saving and such.

what i did was basically create different save games for when i progress so I can select whatever save i want for whatever evolution to play as
This game is so much fun. I know the upgrades make it fun for non shark fanatic gamers but I really like playing as a normal skinned bull shark he looks insane as a mega with no physical upgrades I like taking them off and raising hell as my huge bullshark with a burned scarred face like jaws 2

Literally a day and people already have everything
Pretty easy to grind everything out. Those nutrient caches are AWESOME.
Nearly 100% got a bug at one location and I was too annoyed to continue xD fun game tho
You can get 100% in about 2 days of playing

@@Trophygamers it can be done much faster. I got 100% every region and Evolution in 8h-9h. Those nutrient crates and landmarks/activities give a shit ton of exp. In the Region wherr you encounter the mako for the first time I was level 18 when i left it. And it's the 3rd of 8 regions lol. Pretty entertaining game but way too short. Not enough to do though
I really like how in the elder stage we can see how the first encounter with scaly pete affected the shark, remember that scaly pete's son literraly puts the shark on fire burning the shark alive. In the elder stage we can see the how that affected the shark in terms of looks.

They can't make any bigger evolutions because they don't want people to get stuck

I've played the game and so far I loved it
Its a pretty freaking fun game. Imagine if they used the same concept far as evolving but a Godzilla game where you play Godzilla man thatd be awesome!

Finally picking up this amazing game. Sharks are my all time favourite animal and jaws unleashed was one of the most fun games I ever played and I am gonna love playing this on my PS4 and switch

They need to add Multiplayer. Like Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. I think that would be really cool.
I think this game could have been better if you were allowed to start off as a shark of your choosing a great white a tiger a bull a hammerhead and then as you go further in the game you unlock more sharks and you can change the way the look you can make them look normal you can make em bloody looking, I think that would have been much cooler cos this game is like a console version of hungry shark except you can’t pick your shark you only have the default bull shark...variety and choosing is what people love especially if it’s in a killer shark game and I am here praying that we get a Megalodon.

Bull shark is the scariest shark alive due to how ferocious they are, right next to tiger sharks. Great White sharks are scary but not nearly as intense as tiger sharks or bull sharks

Urfaust more of a large great white I think. Megalodons were around 60-70ft.
Megalodon is a 60-70ft shark. Great whites are 20ft and bull sharks are usually 10-14ft ( you are a bull shark in this game)
The Real megalodon is at least 3 times bigger than the mega in the game

I just started playing this game last night and it's so much fun it takes a lot to impress me, it's different I could say that but I love it plus I live on the gulf in Galveston so it's fun
I cant wait for updates on this game allready 100% the game and its still fun to just dart around and eat everything in the water ...... The shadow upgrades are by far the best your literally a bullet in the water
I wish this game would've taken itself more serious like Jaws unleashed had but it's still a fun game and the comedic element gives it it's on appeal to different audiences ig. Hope they update it and add onto it.

As a Bullshark is the mega size is fairly big especially if the Shark has to fight with Apex whales and alligators.
I really like this game, the human deaths are gloriously gory and satisfying! You can leave them with no legs to die in the water. 👌

The reason why mass rating is only at 50 for the mega is because that is largest great white. The megalodon is coming soon.
No it’s not, the mass rating gets to max when you put on certain evolutions. The bone evolution full set brings it to max mass

I wish with another update there is a possibility to grow one more size called super or prehistoric. One that's large as or a bit larger than the sperm whales and add new sea life like octopus and dolphins that may work alongside humans in the game, also adding more bigger whales like the whale shark and blue whale as possible regular and mutated styles like the truth seeker dlc
i think if it got any bigger than that like a much bigger meg i dont think it would fit in those tunnels that are around places lol cant waite for my shark to get that big i also i hope there are grate whites in the game lol.

I love the game but I feel as if the Mega level isn't that big, clearly it's huge when you face great whites it's nearly twice their size but it still feels relatively small. Or maybe it's just the angle you get during gameplay that makes the shark seem a bit smaller than intended. Still a great game though

Love this game so much. I’m a level 7 bull shark. Anybody have tips for what to upgrade after sonar? Or what missions to do first?

You'll stop playing in a day or two. Was looking forward to a open world like they freaking said but it's split up into different sections of one map. Your biggest disappointment will be the max size of the shark endgame.

I personally prefer the Bull sharks with no upgrades at all. It already looks so badass at the Mega stage. Giving it armour is overkill BUT if you're doing the final mission then I recommend the full body bone armour. Its better for the fight against Pete. Other than that I dislike the armour.
It'll be cool if u beat the game, u get the Option to change your Age/Stage in free roam

Check your math, 9meters is almost 30 feet. Considering the largest bullsharks grow to 3.5 meters, 9 meters is nearly 3 times the size.

That cute ass baby shark turned out to be a 9m monster with an exo-skeleton armor and some battle scars
I finished the game not too long ago took me 9 hours probably could’ve done it quicker but the teen to adult faze is the hardest to level up in my opinion after adult it’s super easy
I agree once you past that it gets pretty easy
Trophygamers yea took me a good while to go through the teen stage maybe like an hour but adult to elder maybe like 20-25 minutes
the game only lacked the addition of being able to buy and improve different types of sharks, such as hungry shark

I mean one of the problem is well the map is absolutely tiny if u were an actual mega also idk if an bullshark has a reach a length of 64 feet long and has jaw wide enough to fit a human cause apparently their going for realism but honestly we all know that is next to impossible....

I’ve been playing this game for 2 days straight stuck in the Gulf of Mexico just to realize I’ve gotta do challenges to unlock more sharks😂😂😂😂😂
Bone evolution makes mass go to max after you complete set and max it out. Anyways wouldn't be that hard to increase the lvl cap and then max size of the shark can get with patch or dlc. Also the orca has a higher lvl cap so things might be tweak as I said with a patch or dlc
About Orca and Sperm Whales being highier level - i think that was the actual intent so even though you are a big shark now there are still things bigger than you. Until Tripwire give us "Actual Megalodon" DLC that is.
