Thank you for the comments concerning the Natcher Bridge over the Ohio River..... The Natcher Bridge was one of my projects to plan the location of the bridge.... Love watching you and Bailey....
Hey, the driver at the rest stop waved at you! It would be super cool to see you, I’m in Washington so not likely but lucky guy! Love your Bailey, there are five humans and five Pem Corgs in our family, we each have our own: Winston, Jasper, Enchi (Enchilada), Ruby, and Maddie (Madeline).
That was a long stop at the scale, i wonder what they were talking about inside the scale house? Safe travels Dan, see you on the next one!🤠👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
If it's anything like ordering a truck or any other trailer, it takes time to make a slot in the production. Took over a year for a reefer. 2 years for a w990
Your knowledge of connecting highways, state borders and terrain is fascinating and the amount of data you’ve collected over the miles must be staggering. This particular trip seemed more visual and the clouds are welcome here in central AZ. Well done, sir.
Indeed. Some things settle more than others, plus bouncing on the roads can have an effect. FMCSA regulations state you have to do a load check within the first 50 miles (or 1 hour, whichever is first) after leaving the shipper, this is usually where things need retightened/readjusted the most. And then every 150 miles (or 3 hours, whichever is first).
Hey Dan. SCHIMDT 🚛 been out of service for a while. Him and his family been on vacation . Something that a lot of you 🚛 needs sometimes. B SAFE 🇺🇸 🚛💨💨💨💨💨
I haul cable reels alot and sometimes they use landscape timbers which are really soft compared to 4x4's great video people such as yourself make us shine out here..much respect sir..
Safe travels. Love ❤️ ❤❤ Miss Bailey❤❤❤. Give her a hug, smooches, & scratches behind each ear. US 67 North of Lille Rock is suppose to be rebadged into I-57 sometime in the near future, running up to the Missouri line.
Just spotted That Gorgeous Orange Super Large Car parked up at the rest area in Minnesota…. Small load of freight on the tail…. Check google maps before u leave, total disaster north of Owatonna, 35 shut down both directions… stay safe and Happy Trails 🚛🚛🚛🫡🫡🫡
Pulling into that parking spot also makes it quieter for the other guys when you run your generator. You should stay at that big casino about 10 miles west of the border on I-40.
Real 4 x 4’s are a Great Find. Glad you’re Keeping them. You are Very Meticulous with Securing your Loads so keep up the Strong 💪 Efforts. Thanks Dan! 👍🙏
looking good DAN, I always new you did not need no G.P.S to tell you where to go 😂😂 W.D. 40 stinky, I use sewing machine oil, Couple drops fixs the problem, I have always liked the scale Signs saying exit too interstate, be safe out there take care yourself DAN
I'm always concerned about the load being secured trailer hookups etc. Your one of the best when it comes to securing a heavy loaded trailer. So good I've even forwarded your videos to my niece after she went back to driving a semi. She said if nothing else keeps refreshing her training about maintaining a semi.
Good video Dan, E logs are a real pain how much time do you lose with them over all nothing like the good old book! If the book was done right, you're never out of time, it was people who got greedy!
Dan I’ve been pulling tanker for about 25 years. I’ve been wanting a change and was thinking about flatbed and leasing my truck to Mercer. But spending thousands of dollars on securement and a headache rack and buying or leasing a trailer is scaring me off. What do you think?
they may be on a fixed contract with their fuel supplier, if the have not sold their contracted amount by a certain time of the month, they will discount to sell out,
I sub to truckers all over the world. In the UK & Eu they run all thier long trailers with 6 tires on 3 axles. I think the max trailers there are 40ft. Austrailia is mad dog nuts. I dont know what thier gross is, maybe they dont have one as most trucks pull 4 or 5 road train trailer setups. Each trailer will have 3 axles w 12 tires on the back with a trailer dolly up front with 3 axles and 12 tires. Yeah, 24 tires per trailer. As a lot of road trains service the out back on dirt roads they may not have gross weight limits. So strange. !
If you have ever seen a broken chain and the outcome of a spool going through the sleeper you would be using 3 times the amount of chains and binders !
Thanks for the video. I worked on the dry dock welding on barges if you would have to your left coming across the bridge from Owensboro to Rockport. Be safe
I was wondering what noise level you experience in your truck? I'm not sure how you might measure it but it seems pretty loud compared to trucks I drove here in the UK, even allowing for the difference in speeds?
@@heaveymelt The reason I asked the original question relates to the noise level inside the cab. If the driver is exposed to a relatively low level of loud noise but for long periods then he/she is likely to experience hearing loss... I'm not suggesting Dan should wear hearing protection but I can't help but wonder whether it might be an area he needs to investigate. If he goes deaf he can't blame his employer can he...? That would be Dan!
Yeah i understand his stacks are pretty tall and he seems to have his windows up all the time and i don't see him use his engine brake alot but maybe he has mufflers under the truck don't know
Crazy to hear you say Hayti, that’s my neck of the woods..

Thanks for the extended video, Dan!!! Really appreciated knowing the routing that you took. Safe travels.

Hey Dan, haven't heard any more about the drop deck trailer you were thinking about. Is it still in the works or did that get put on hold?
I've been wondering about the drop deck trailer to
Ditto.

I'm always amazed how straps and chains get loose and need to be retightened.
Most loads have to settle then you redo the chains or straps

I'm expecting 30-40 of those Southwire reels here in Vegas in the next week, let me know if you get any of them.

If you find this- Squeaky seat fix- Use pam cooking spray on the seat that way it wont smell like wd40 in the truck. It works great.
Glad those aren’t, loose steel coils… safe travels and good health
I can't believe you didn't stop in Grayville, Il. 😯 Actually It is A pretty nice little community.
Hey 👋 Dan! You are Correct with “HAY-tie” MO as the Correct pronunciation. 👍

Hi Dan
Awesome ride along as always.
Take care and drive safe.

Oklahoma scale? Wow! guess I haven't been through there in a long time

Seen you yesterday on Interstate 40 mile marker 91 heading west

All that fur lol as you got Bailey ready lol I have a mini aussie so I know that fur game well. Lol

Grayville IL is what town that water stop is in. Always coming through my neck of the woods in the Evansville area just never see ya. Drive safe Dan
Thanks for the ride! Stay safe.
A very nice and long video thanks Dan loved it.
Keep it working Pal 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Made a lot of trip’s from southern Minnesota to Conway Arkansas picking up school buses at the factory there.
Nice when you tell the route. I like to follow along on a map and see what the country looks like.
Thanks for the video
Be safe out there God bless you and your family
Another good one Dan 🚛🇺🇸👏
That bridge really looked a lot like the main bridge between Norway and Sweden!
Two downloads in the same week. Great videos! Was that a nuclear power plant on the right after you exited the bridge?
Good morning Dan hope you have a wonderful day be safe 😊
Great video brother from the imperial county California 👍🇺🇲
I hear Bailey putting her two cents worth in
I live just south of 64 in Illinois around the 117 mile marker at Burnt Prairie Illinois
Lots of driving. Love it. Bailey looks bored 😂
Happy trails be safe👍
I seen you in Muldow parked at Littlefields facing the highway this morning. Truck looked good and clean
Sounds like Bailey is excited to go back to Wichita Falls. Stay safe out there you two.
Looks like your driving in to get heaven
Yes. Your. A real trooper. Hope. You take. More time. Off. Thanks ❤❤❤
Hi Dan, saw you rolling westbound on I 40 outside Fort Smith, Arkansas earlier today😬
Just a quick question; wouldn't it be safer to have those binder handles on the passenger side?🤠🤠🤠
I try to put all my binders on the driver side. They are easier to see in the mirror and keep an eye on them.
Thanks for Watching
I saw you yesterday, July 17. On I-55 southbound
Good video Dan, E logs are a real pain how much time do you lose with them over all nothing like the good old book! If the book was done right, you're never out of time, it was people who got greedy!
I prefer E logs. Faster and easier for trip planning. And you don't have to compete with someone willing to run 16 - 18 hours a day.
the human street map :)
It kind of looks like the J hooks could slide down the slot on the trailer when the chains are angled like that hauling coils. Is that possible?
Do you know when you take delivery of your step deck trailer?
I find it odd you only have 19 J Hooks. 20 would make more sense. If only there was a place that sold trailer parts........
Dan, try 3in1 oil on your chair. Alot better than WD40.
or silicone spray
Better yet, Triflow. IMO
Curious to if the people that don’t own their trucks pay attention to fuel cost like you do or do they just stop wherever
Hey Dan
Quick question
Did you first started out buying your truck or finance or did you ever lease program
hey Dan maybe Dorsey is watching and they will send you some J hooks. how bout it.
Dan I’ve been pulling tanker for about 25 years. I’ve been wanting a change and was thinking about flatbed and leasing my truck to Mercer. But spending thousands of dollars on securement and a headache rack and buying or leasing a trailer is scaring me off. What do you think?
I don't recommend WD-40,try some white lithium grease

Conway Twitty got his stage name from Conway,AR and Twitty,TX looking at a map. Harold Loyd Jenkins is was his real name RIP
Who asked
what company
Were those Nuclear Reactors smoking when you came into Indiana ??
When are you getting the new trailer?
What's up with the step deck😊
$3.10 / gal…..eastern Canada $6.49 / gal.
I was wondering what noise level you experience in your truck? I'm not sure how you might measure it but it seems pretty loud compared to trucks I drove here in the UK, even allowing for the difference in speeds?
Pretty sure dans truck have no mufflers and its a cat so it rumbles when working
When i drove a cat with stright pipes pulling a four axle dump people said they knew i was coming there house windows would rattle

You don’t have Pre-pass
I got a red light on prepass had to pull in. They were pulling everybody in.
Thanks for Watching
So whatever happened to new trailer you were looking at back in April?
Am I the only one that noticed the idiot parked on the ramp where there's four truck stop with his hood sticking into the lane of travel 🤔
What happened to you getting the stepdeck trailer for review?
I have been driving for 46 yrs and still dont mispronounce the towns you do, always pronounce
Big Danno…where is the new step deck at? You should have been a priority for Dorsey to get that built asap with your specs.
