- Here a video of my new selfmade folding recumbent prototype. The frame is build of stainless steel and the additional parts are made of alloy. On travelling I put my stuff in a backpack and while riding in the suitcase.
Hier das Zusammenbauvideo meines neuen selbstgebauten Liegerades. Der Rahmen ist komplett aus rostfreiem Edelstahl und die Zubehörteile aus Alu.
Wenn ich das Rad auf Reisen nutze, dann kommt das Gepäck in einen Rucksack und nach dem Zusammenbau in den leeren Koffer.

I think you fail to see the similarities to "Bike Friday".
Bike Friday is located in Oregon, USA.

They have existed since 1992.
Most of their Folding bikes came with a suitcase, EXACTLY, like the one used in this video.
I called them to ask if they ever created a recumbent Bike and they of course said - YES.
But they stop making them because the demand wasn't enough for them to continue.
ist das ein koffer mit 158 cm Gurtmaß höhe+länge+breite=158 cm?
wieviel zoll Räder sind das 20 oder 16 Zoll?
mit Gurtmaß 158 und 20kg insgesamt wäre es Flugreise tauglich.
This is a great bike however, let’s be honest unless you remove all of the grease assembling that bike would make you a greasy mess lol.
I think it’s a brilliant design. The suitcase reminds me of the Bike Friday Saturday. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a folding bike more of a travel bike. You’re a smart man and I am not trying to be critical but you have as a masterpiece. Thank you for sharing and please get rid of that disgusting music lol
@cdltpx and for those traveling on commercial passenger airlines too? As checked luggage (as bike parts and no bike transport fee?)?

Let's use language properly.
Folding bike is deployed or packed in a few seconds, not minutes.
What we see here is assembling a bike packed in trunk, although without tools but in a few HUNDRED seconds.
It's OK for "nothing-else-to-do" DIY addict, but not for serious manufacturer.
