I really like your videos because you have such a calming presence. You’re never performing or super loud for the camera. You’re just you and relatable. Thanks for making videos for us, Lindsey!
Girl! I love the fact that you're reading, but make sure you look into your local library and see if they offer Libby - free audiobooks and ebooks - that you can take out with your library card. 💜
I love the Skinfix barrier+ triple lipid-peptide cream as my night time moisturizer! Great for dryness, has a pump top, and not as pricey as drunk elephant.
sammy under the blanket while you were reading was so cute 😭😭 lindsey I wish I had one of your vlogs to watch everyday before work because you're def my comfor person on the internet!
I absolutely swear by the first aid beauty ultra repair cream. It’s truly the best thing out there. It’s super hydrating and soaks in really well, doesn’t leave you feeling gross and greasy. It doesn’t make me break out, it soothes my eczema. Holy grail product!
Lindsey! I am a super dryskinned girly aswell! And i can without a doubt say that the best thing ive ever used on my skin is shea butter! So moisturizing without any irritation from fragrance and whatnot. I can also recommend layering with a dry bodyoil directly after showering and then ontop using bodybutter or lotion. It will lock in the moisture.
Dieux angel skin has been raved about a lot and Honey girl organics face and eye cream is one of my favorite natural and heavy duty moisturizers but it does come in a pot. Thank you for sharing your meals. Happy early Thanksgiving- cant wait to see what you make the rest of this season!
I also have very dry skin! Have you tried K beauty products at all? They are the best, this is one of my faves: SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream. Love your videos 💞
Hey Lindsey! I recommend you the FaceD hydrafast 24hour cream, it is in a tube with a pump and it has spf 15, it leaves my skin super soft and hydrated 😍
Saw someone mention it already but also recommend Dieux instant angel for moisturizer! I used to use DE Protini but it wasn’t hydrating enough for me. Instant angel is at a better price point and so incredibly hydrating.
loved the vid! i don't mean this as a critic in any way, but it was interesting to me how you pointed out that you didn't want to use the drunk elephant moisturizer because it's quite expensive, when in reality most of the goods/products you recommend to your viewers are in the same price range, but you get them gifted for free. So essentially, you probably wouldn't use most of them if you had to buy them yourself, which is just a gentle reminder of how the industry works and that we as consumers need to be so aware of how "influenced" we can get by youtubers and social media people
I don’t mind, I think influencer transparency is really important and could be talked about more! Getting sent product does offset some of my spending but the majority of my daily products I still repurchase routinely
Love your videos always! Definitely trying that vegan masala tonight for dinner😋also Trilogy's ultra hydrating face cream would be so good for the winter. I got a sample of it, and my dry, sensitivite skin loved it
i use the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream and it's very rich/moisturizing. it comes in a tub/no pump, but with the drunk elephant pumps i believe you can refill them? you might be able to put the cerave in the drunk elephant pump
I just finished Foe which is also about to be a movie (with Saoirse Ronan & Paul mescal!) and it was soooo good. I just got Eileen from the library and I’m excited to start it :-)
Moisturizer rec: it’s not a pump or tube, however I love Innisfree’s green tea moisturizer! They have eye and face and honestly I get the face one because it’s cheaper and a little bigger? Where’s the logic in that, idk lol… a beautiful jar too! I admit it does have a bit of a fragrance and as someone very sensitive to scents, I was acclimated within a week.
Honestly I’m not a huge fan of any of the drunk elephant moisturizers. I find that they don’t really moisturize very well unless you add other products like their marula oil (which is a very nice but very expensive combo). My favorite is the Sunday Riley CEO vitamin C cream. Comes in a pit but has a little spoon to scoop up the product.
when you said "I usually buy fusilli, but I was feeling like spaghetti" I thought you were going to say "I usually buy fusilli, but I was feeling fu-silly" hahaha
Book recommendation: I just finished reading Family Meal by Bryan Washington and he is one of my favourites, would highly recommend his books if you’re looking for books about food, love, and queer-racialized narratives. His books deal with heavy subjects but they’re so beautifully written and engaging, I never want to put them down.

lindsey’s vlogs are like my comfort tv show
girl you need to get a library card and get whatever app your library uses for e-books for your Kindle!

Cuddling Sammy is absolutely precious.
I would love a video on what to be on the look out for when thrifting/how you know something you're thrifting is good quality!!! 🤍
I love the Skinfix barrier+ triple lipid-peptide cream as my night time moisturizer! Great for dryness, has a pump top, and not as pricey as drunk elephant.
You're the only lifestyle / fashion youtuber that i still keep up with
sammy under the blanket while you were reading was so cute 😭😭

“The Guest” was my favourite book from the past few months. So I’m excited for you that you still get to read it at some point! Also: “Ripe”

Try Cerave for the face skin

Careful of the nightshade kind of spices, they can definitely cause inflammation
Try the Illyoon Ceramide Ato Cream! Can be used on face and body :) and affordable!
As another dry-skin girly, the Dieux Instant Angel Moisturizer is incredible.
I just started reading The Island of Sea Women and i like it so far :)
Byoma moisturizer has a pump and is my fave 🫶🏽
I loved the purple one too it was so thick and creamy my only issue was that it ran out so fast for me
Very nice Sammy let you be a plus one to event!
😭
I just started The Nix and it’s also 💯 Nathan Hill is genius. Glad to see you back, Also as a fellow ibs girl, do you often suffer eating legumes?
I'll have to read that next! Yes sadly

Taking antibiotics can really mess with your gut too! Amp up the probiotics when you have to take those

i just finished the audiobook for Down The Drain by Julia Fox, it was so good. still need to read a physical book tho..
I want to read that!
when you said "I usually buy fusilli, but I was feeling like spaghetti" I thought you were going to say "I usually buy fusilli, but I was feeling fu-silly" hahaha
All I can say is that SIBO antibiotics changed my life. Fingers crossed they will get approved for you!
That’s soooo good to hear. Thank you!

you should read divine rivals by rebecca ross if you are into fiction. easily one of the best and most beautifully written books i’ve read this year.
currently reading the rachel incident, good material, and bright young women!
Try Weleda skin food! It almost made my eczema disappear. I am a human desert
wow I paused it comment right before you showed that you use it hahha

:D
Love your vlogs, specially your recipes! I have been reading so much lately, I definitely recommend the series of ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas. 😀
