If Bellew was on the British bake off and he was asked to describe how he made the cake, what ingredients he used and so on I'm sure it would sound like the most heroic and dangerous cake process ever. "After i had beaten the ingredients to a pulp in the bowl I summoned the last of my strength and just looked at the oven and said, it's you or me and i don't lose! Nah, AJ, Tyson, Wilder pretty much any of the elite heavyweight would beat Usyk. Usyk, indeed a skilled fighter, indeed the best cruiserweight champion, lacks the KO power you need in heavyweight. I strongly believe Usyk will lose badly at the HW division.

As Ward says the difference between Elite fighters and normal fighters a few of the 10 were - Drinking, Bellews drinks. Putting on 20-30lbs, Bellew done that. Only training when you have a figjt coming up, Bellew does that. I'm surprised he put his weaknesses on display like that it's nothing to boast about! It's the reason he gassed out in the 1st fight vs Haye

Haye was a harder puncher than usyk is. Im sure that Bellew will tank the shots from usyk. The question is more how much usyk can tank. Tony is a big puncher with a also high boxing iq like usyk. It‘s going to be a very nice fight (for me a bigger fight than Fury & wilder)
Usyk is a beast on offense. But that defense has major gaps. Great fight.

Truth is Bellew was a cut above Chelemba and beat a well over the hill David Haye so its really hard to tell how good he is right now. I hope he does it and if he does it will be one of the greatest wins by a British boxer...right up there with Calzhage vs Lacey or Benn vs Mcallum or Honeygan vs Curry IMO.

Usyk very illusive and fast if he lets Usyk make the pace it's basically written. But who knows. Big shots landing clean can always end something quick.

Let’s face facts. Usyk is easily the best in the world and Bellew is far below that. However, Bellew has the kind of fighting spirit, determination, grounding and Liverpool grit that Usyk will have never seen before. Tony Bellew is going to win the fight.

If Usyk wins this easily, then it shows bellew is just one step below elite. But if bellew against the odds wins in good fashion determination and focus and a couple of well placed shots. I agree with the determination and so forth but Usyk is very hard to hit, and the guy keeps throwing precise punches in your face, anyone who watched Usky vs Gassiev seen how this guy easily beat Gassiev, and Gassiev was no mug, he was a class act himself with lethal body punches. Bellew I admit has probably more KO power than Usyk, but the Ukrainian moves fast around the ring throwing precise punch after punch, Usyk wins this easily on points

Be realistic, he'll have to KO Usyk to win and Usyk doesn't stand still for a second, he's a larger version of Lomachenko and Anatoly trains him, Bellew will lose on points.

Wasn't Bellews fault Haye was passed it. Even Haye knew he wouldn't win before the fight and he mugged off all of his supporters for the second time as he was clearly unfit. But even the most cynical of you have got to admire that he wants to fight the best there is in that weight division.

I love Tony, his desire, honesty, emotion and dedication can't be matched by any other British Boxer. He really can connect with the fans. It's easy to see why he is loved by most Boxing fans.
He's been a breath of fresh air for British Heavyweight boxing, he's excellent when he's commentating on other fights too, he's articulate in delivering his opinions and doesn't hold back.

Hi Chris. Really Usyk is a skilled boxer, but when you say he fought the best Cubans you a not completely right. The only Cuban Usyk fought was Pedro Rodriguez but as a professional. Usyk won by a KO, but Rodriguez is not a ranked fighter. I believe in the amateur there were a big effort from Ucranians to avoid the fight between Usyk with Erislandy Savon and other Cubans (Lenier Pero, Toirac, Osmay Acosta, Larduet).
