when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! Thank you, Lord!

I have been a prodigal daughter for 15 years and know it’s my Father’s love that drew me back and keeps drawing me every day. Everyday he loves me even with everything I stumble in. I have been studying abroad for a while now. As a 19 year old being alone in a different country, I have been struggling mentally, feeling alone and just drowning under all the work I have to do, thinking I am not enough. I feel like a broken person, I want to be loved by the Lord but I feel so undeserving. My sorrow and hate cloud my heart, and I’ll go to bible study and church services and still find myself digging my own hateful grave. I feel so lost. The Lord is my shepherd but I have wondered. I’m struggling so much to get home when that’s all I want to do, is make it back to Him.

I was crying out to God because for the past few days I haven't felt his presence as much and the silence is killing me. I was also getting attacked with temptation and lies, but through Christ, I stood firm but It still felt like there was this silence between us. After praying to him this song started playing, I am ashamed I ever doubted my father.
I know this silence is a test and I will stand firm, I know he will not let me fall into temptation. He's given me the power to resist a sin I struggled with for years, now he is simply testing me. Whether in silence or in your voice I will stand firm.
Sometimes the quietness is not just a test, but to teach you to walk more in maturity with Him. You already know to hear Him and follow. Perhaps in the beginning it was necessary to constantly get confirmation but sometimes He is quiet to increase your trust in Him, and discern Him in different ways.
stand firm in Christ.... the commitment we make to live for righteousness is a gift from God through Jesus. Jesus paid the price and we simply thank him for that. please don't give up. just keep praying. keep going to God and take all your brokenness to him. The dryness, the desert experience is all part of the journey....it is so we see how much we depend on him that yearning....he hasnt left you, his love is unending, relentless...this desert time is where we reflect, plant, to become rooted and grounded in Christ, it is a confusing and at times a hard period but it will pass ...keep your eyes on him💕
Time in a spiritual desert can be exhausting, but it doesn’t last forever. God will breathe new life into your weary bones, and on that day, you’ll find He never left your side.
When God Takes You Through The Desert.....
God leads most believers into the desert at one time or another.
Moses spent 40 years in the desert before God raised him up to lead Israel out of Egypt. As soon as God delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt he took them into the desert. David did a lot of desert time hiding out from Saul before God made him king. ?And the Spirit drove Jesus into the desert after his baptism for 40 days.
Lots of circumstances can be “deserts.”
A prolonged sickness can be a desert. Moving to a new place or joining a new church where you don’t know anyone can be one. ?Being stuck in a miserable or boring job instead of the fulfilling career you had hoped for can be a desert. ?A rebellious child or an unbelieving spouse can be a desert.
When we’re in the desert it can feel like God’s not doing anything. ?Or he’s set us aside. ?But God is always at work. He uses desert experiences in many ways, as we see in Dt 8:2-6:
Deserts humble us
And you shall remember the whole way that the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you (v2)
Deserts reveal what is in our hearts
Testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. (v2)
Deserts teach us to live by God’s word
And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. (v3)
Deserts teach us that God can provide for us in any circumstance.

I've been away from God. But God has never been away from me. Everytime I feel alone in this world he reminds me that he is nearer and that he is never going to give up on me. When the first time i heared this song, I was really impressed for the lyrics, since all the lyrics, especially "You are changing everything, I believe it , I receice it,' This part was the answer of what i was thinking and finding for these days. The lyrics inspired me and changed my thinking. Nowadays I realize that Faith is the greatest grace but the biggest task also. And As you said, when i start to believe and receive his work, I will see his actions changing my life. I was recently baptized.....I lived a very different lifestyle that most Christian people don't understand...while on the baptism line I was nervous and came to tears , just thinking of my past and all the things I've been through after being baptized I felt a rush of peace, tranquility and a great abundance of love all around me it was truly a beautiful expierance I will never forget.........when I got home I tryed to relax I picked up my phone to listen to some spiritual music when I opened ,and went to my play list this song I AM LOVED was at the very top all ready downloaded ...ive never heard it before or ever heard of the artist...... onec I listened to it I came to tears and realized it was the holly spirt talking to me...such a beautiful song fitting for my baptism experience....its now one of my favorites.....GOD IS GOOD ,GOD IS GREAT!!!!!.....God truly works in mysterious ways.

I was diagnosed with stage 3b cervical cancer 6 years ago. It’s a scary scary challenge . 2out 3 doctors didn’t say anything but they didn’t expect me to make it even 3 years after and here I am at 51/2 in remission . I do hope she is in early stages but God is good .I pray if she goes through chemo and radiation she will feel His presence lifting her up throughout- that people will be there just to be with her. May she feel Gods warm radiant love .

I sincerely hope things are better for you some now. When I was a child I believe it was my grandma who had this picture and poem up on her wall called Footprints in the Sand. For some reason I really liked that picture and over time those words have stuck with me whenever I am going through really hard times. Your post made me want to tell you about the poem in case you haven’t heard of it. When my family all died in a short period of time and when I was cheated on and when I felt like life was just maybe too much to bear that poem came to my mind and I prayed and each time the Lord gave me hope and strength. Ofc the Bible is the best and prayer but sometimes a poem or a song also can really encourage someone.

One that most of the times can have more challenges n downfalls than oneself, but is going to complete you n make you what? Happy? I've just realized God's amazing answer to my prayer a few years ago when I asked Him to teach me how to love Him.
Months ago, I have experienced the most anxiety, fear, pressure, and doubts in my life regarding my self and my future. However, it was during this time when I truly met and became closer to God.
He showed me how there is no need to worry for He is with me every step of the way and that He will take care of me--His beloved child. True enough, it turned out that I didn't have to worry at all because everything turned out well in the end.
Now, everytime I pray, I can tell Him: "I love you Lord" from the bottom of my heart.
Maybe sometimes, we experience difficult times in our lives so God can teach us how to rely on Him, how to be closer to Him, how to trust Him, and how to love him.

I feel so alone sometimes. I have friends but they aren’t believers in God and sometimes I avoid hanging out with them for that reason. Some even mock my God and I’d rather just stay away. I wish I had more friends in Christ. Even when I feel so lonely I am constantly reminded I am loved by Him and that makes me so happy and I feel special and blessed. God is so amazing, I know one day I’ll make more friends, friends who share my love for our Heavenly Father. And I rest my heart on knowing I am never alone when I have Jesus.

In July 2022 I got food poisoning which caused me GBS/AMAN. My legs and hands went into full paralysis and I have been in hospital/rehabilitation center for 6 months. I'm now home and to be honest I know GOD has given miracles on a daily basis and continues to do so. I don't know how I would have pulled through if it wasn't for GOD. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
