when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! I have been studying abroad for a while now. As a 19 year old being alone in a different country, I have been struggling mentally, feeling alone and just drowning under all the work I have to do, thinking I am not enough. I was crying out to God because for the past few days I haven't felt his presence as much and the silence is killing me. I was also getting attacked with temptation and lies, but through Christ, I stood firm but It still felt like there was this silence between us. After praying to him this song started playing, I am ashamed I ever doubted my father. I know this silence is a test and I will stand firm, I know he will not let me fall into temptation. He's given me the power to resist a sin I struggled with for years, now he is simply testing me. Whether in silence or in your voice I will stand firm.

Lots of circumstances can be “deserts.” A prolonged sickness can be a desert. Moving to a new place or joining a new church where you don’t know anyone can be one. ?Being stuck in a miserable or boring job instead of the fulfilling career you had hoped for can be a desert. ?A rebellious child or an unbelieving spouse can be a desert. When we’re in the desert it can feel like God’s not doing anything. ?Or he’s set us aside. ?But God is always at work. The past 4 years has been very hard on me and my family. My niece and her father, a dear friend, were killed in by a drunk driver. Upon my return from the funeral, I discovered my wife was having an affair. Three years of fighting for my marriage and I hit rock bottom after a third. I sincerely hope things are better for you some now. When I was a child I believe it was my grandma who had this picture and poem up on her wall called Footprints in the Sand. For some reason I really liked that picture and over time those words have stuck with me whenever I am going through really hard times. Your post made me want to tell you about the poem in case you haven’t heard of it. When my family all died in a short period of time and when I was cheated on and when I felt like life was just maybe too much to bear that poem came to my mind and I prayed and each time the Lord gave me hope and strength. Ofc the Bible is the best and prayer but sometimes a poem or a song also can really encourage someone.

In July 2022 I got food poisoning which caused me GBS/AMAN. My legs and hands went into full paralysis and I have been in hospital/rehabilitation center for 6 months. I've been feeling lost since the start of the year. I thought I was getting better at managing my finances but I have been overspending affecting everything like a domino effect. A couple of days ago I felt that something was missing, I started listening to my praise repertoire again and found this song. Today I came to work I heard it and I felt a great need to cry, everything it makes me feel is wonderful! I love you Jesus and I thank the Father for sending you to spy on our sins.❤
When I was 13 I was in church youth camp for the first time and they said every year the Holy Ghost was shown and we felt God’s presence so I went. For the first 2 days we went to the lake had communion, read the Bible while we ate breakfast, played pool and had a great time. Then, finally we realized it was the last day there, and we hadn’t felt the Holy Ghost which was odd because every year we had. But then on the final day everything changed. Our church worship team came down and we were just sitting there praising and this song came on. It was the first time I ever felt the Holy Spirit. I was worshipping him and all the sudden my head flew straight up with my face facing the ceiling. It was so amazing all emotions were rushing through my body. I was crying smiling laughing singing sweating all at the same time it was so good I felt as if I was on a cloud with God’s amazing grace surrounding me. Then, it started a chain reaction which everyone looking at me they all slowly felt Him. God’s presence was in the room the piano player noticed it at first and started telling everybody then everyone felt the Holy Spirit. Everyone was in tears because of how great it was. Then the youth pastor came up to the front and just started praying over us and the worship team. It was so good. Then the worship team came down and the pastor had us speaking in toungues for the first time. We were praying in tongues over the worship team over the pastor over each other and the pastor and worship team were doing the same. God showed his spirit in the room and I started it. Everything felt so perfect. Later, the next time at church we came up and the pastor talked about how good it was and that we were all speaking in tongues and the pianist came up and told everybody what happened. About how he had never felt the presence of God while playing the piano before but that time he was just playing and he looked over at me, then all the sudden the Holy Spirit was rushed over him with the presence of God. All in all, this song caused the greatest thing to ever happen to me and I’m so grateful. This was the first time I ever felt God’s presence.

I was recently baptized.....I lived a very different lifestyle that most Christian people don't understand...while on the baptism line I was nervous and came to tears , just thinking of my past and all the things I've been through after being baptized I felt a rush of peace, tranquility and a great abundance of love all around me it was truly a beautiful expierance I will never forget.........when I got home I tryed to relax I picked up my phone to listen to some spiritual music when I opened ,and went to my play list this song I AM LOVED was at the very top all ready downloaded ...ive never heard it before or ever heard of the artist...... onec I listened to it I came to tears and realized it was the holly spirt talking to me...such a beautiful song fitting for my baptism experience....its now one of my favorites.....GOD IS GOOD ,GOD IS GREAT!!!!!.....God truly works in mysterious ways.
I've just realized God's amazing answer to my prayer a few years ago when I asked Him to teach me how to love Him. Months ago, I have experienced the most anxiety, fear, pressure, and doubts in my life regarding my self and my future. However, it was during this time when I truly met and became closer to God. He showed me how there is no need to worry for He is with me every step of the way and that He will take care of me--His beloved child. True enough, it turned out that I didn't have to worry at all because everything turned out well in the end. Now, everytime I pray, I can tell Him: "I love you Lord" from the bottom of my heart. Maybe sometimes, we experience difficult times in our lives so God can teach us how to rely on Him, how to be closer to Him, how to trust Him, and how to love him. Thank you Lord for answering my prayer, I love you 😊.

I've been going through an extremely difficult time in my life. My mom sent me this song recently and God ministered to my heart deeply. It's hard enough dealing with a physical issue, you start losing hope that healing will ever come. My faith was beginning to fade, but the moment I heard the words there is no disappointment in your eyes there's no shame only pride what I've dealt with for 27 years calmed down and I was at peace. I slept great!! I'm slowly getting back hope and faith. God is changing everything!!!

when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! I have been a prodigal daughter for 15 years and know it’s my Father’s love that drew me back and keeps drawing me every day. Everyday he loves me even with everything I stumble in. I have been studying abroad for a while now. As a 19 year old being alone in a different country, I have been struggling mentally, feeling alone and just drowning under all the work I have to do, thinking I am not enough. My sorrow and hate cloud my heart, and I’ll go to bible study and church services and still find myself digging my own hateful grave. I feel so lost. The Lord is my shepherd but I have wondered. I’m struggling so much to get home when that’s all I want to do, is make it back to Him.
None of us deserve his love but He desires relationship with you. His grace saves us all. Run to Him and ask for him to fill you with joy and to take all that shams and suffering away from you. You don’t need to carry it. Jesus sacrificed himself so none of needed to carry it. Bless you

I was crying out to God because for the past few days I haven't felt his presence as much and the silence is killing me. I was also getting attacked with temptation and lies, but through Christ, I stood firm but It still felt like there was this silence between us. After praying to him this song started playing, I am ashamed I ever doubted my father.
I know this silence is a test and I will stand firm, I know he will not let me fall into temptation. He's given me the power to resist a sin I struggled with for years, now he is simply testing me. Whether in silence or in your voice I will stand firm.
Sometimes the quietness is not just a test, but to teach you to walk more in maturity with Him. You already know to hear Him and follow. Perhaps in the beginning it was necessary to constantly get confirmation but sometimes He is quiet to increase your trust in Him, and discern Him in different ways.

The past 4 years has been very hard on me and my family. My niece and her father, a dear friend, were killed in by a drunk driver. Upon my return from the funeral, I discovered my wife was having an affair. Three years of fighting for my marriage and I hit rock bottom after a third. I sincerely hope things are better for you some now. When I was a child I believe it was my grandma who had this picture and poem up on her wall called Footprints in the Sand. For some reason I really liked that picture and over time those words have stuck with me whenever I am going through really hard times. Your post made me want to tell you about the poem in case you haven’t heard of it. When my family all died in a short period of time and when I was cheated on and when I felt like life was just maybe too much to bear that poem came to my mind and I prayed and each time the Lord gave me hope and strength. Ofc the Bible is the best and prayer but sometimes a poem or a song also can really encourage someone.

One that most of the times can have more challenges n downfalls than oneself, but is going to complete you n make you what? Happy? Seeing people's comments here makes me happy for them but also envious of them. I'm always at a cross roads with wanting to believe in God but at same time I feel like he isn't real because I find it so hard believe that he would except someone like me who has made so many mistakes in life and love me despite my flaws.
In July 2022 I got food poisoning which caused me GBS/AMAN. My legs and hands went into full paralysis and I have been in hospital/rehabilitation center for 6 months. I'm now home and to be honest I know GOD has given miracles on a daily basis and continues to do so. I don't know how I would have pulled through if it wasn't for GOD. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

I've been feeling lost since the start of the year. I thought I was getting better at managing my finances but I have been overspending affecting everything like a domino effect. When I was 13 I was in church youth camp for the first time and they said every year the Holy Ghost was shown and we felt God’s presence so I went. For the first 2 days we went to the lake had communion, read the Bible while we ate breakfast, played pool and had a great time. Then, finally we realized it was the last day there, and we hadn’t felt the Holy Ghost which was odd because every year we had. But then on the final day everything changed. Our church worship team came down and we were just sitting there praising and this song came on. It was the first time I ever felt the Holy Spirit. I was worshipping him and all the sudden my head flew straight up with my face facing the ceiling. It was so amazing all emotions were rushing through my body. I was crying smiling laughing singing sweating all at the same time it was so good I felt as if I was on a cloud with God’s amazing grace surrounding me. Then, it started a chain reaction which everyone looking at me they all slowly felt Him. God’s presence was in the room the piano player noticed it at first and started telling everybody then everyone felt the Holy Spirit. Everyone was in tears because of how great it was. Then the youth pastor came up to the front and just started praying over us and the worship team. It was so good. Then the worship team came down and the pastor had us speaking in toungues for the first time. We were praying in tongues over the worship team over the pastor over each other and the pastor and worship team were doing the same. God showed his spirit in the room and I started it. Everything felt so perfect. Later, the next time at church we came up and the pastor talked about how good it was and that we were all speaking in tongues and the pianist came up and told everybody what happened. About how he had never felt the presence of God while playing the piano before but that time he was just playing and he looked over at me, then all the sudden the Holy Spirit was rushed over him with the presence of God. All in all, this song caused the greatest thing to ever happen to me and I’m so grateful. This was the first time I ever felt God’s presence.

I've just realized God's amazing answer to my prayer a few years ago when I asked Him to teach me how to love Him.
Months ago, I have experienced the most anxiety, fear, pressure, and doubts in my life regarding my self and my future. However, it was during this time when I truly met and became closer to God.
He showed me how there is no need to worry for He is with me every step of the way and that He will take care of me--His beloved child. True enough, it turned out that I didn't have to worry at all because everything turned out well in the end.
Now, everytime I pray, I can tell Him: "I love you Lord" from the bottom of my heart.
Maybe sometimes, we experience difficult times in our lives so God can teach us how to rely on Him, how to be closer to Him, how to trust Him, and how to love him.
Thank you Lord for answering my prayer, I love you 😊.

I've been going through an extremely difficult time in my life. My mom sent me this song recently and God ministered to my heart deeply. It's hard enough dealing with a physical issue, you start losing hope that healing will ever come. My faith was beginning to fade, but the moment I heard the words there is no disappointment in your eyes there's no shame only pride what I've dealt with for 27 years calmed down and I was at peace. I slept great!! I'm slowly getting back hope and faith. God is changing everything!!!

Mack, I regularly get overwhelmed by depressing shame over my past sins, and this song you wrote, more than almost any other, helps me speak the Truth to that overwhelming shame the Deceiver tries to heap on me: I am still loved.
