Very inspiring chat - especially listening to Jodie's coping mechanisms, she couldn't be more spot on with the whole "being grateful" for what you have, and not to take set backs personally. Jodie is so down to earth, and I felt she added laughter to the chat and broke the ice with the "dance it out" suggestion too - couldn't agree more. I also must say that it was a shame the other girls didn't get round to addressing Jodie's question about how she should use her social media platform more, and what content she should post, as she's clearly a private person so doesn't use it for personal stuff. I'd love to see more content in terms of her work, way of life, her background and where she's from, because she is from a working class background and it's not often that someone like her makes it so big - so I believe she would inspire so many women even more so.
Glad this was posted on TH-cam cause I wasn’t able to see it earlier. Jodie is such a great role model. Also to add, this chat was really inspiring and they all gave really great advice.
unfortunately they didn't address Jodie's question about how she could "do more" in regard to using her social media platform... Overall great content ! And jodie is genuinely a beautiful person, very humble, very grounded it is so inspiring. I would tell her to change nothing, social media can easily be overwhelming in terms of mental health. We will in a ruthless world and people can make or break you in a flip of a switch. How she handles her platform is very refreshing to my opinion. She uses her work to inspire, and nothing else. Her focus and work ethic is enough to be mesmerized and inspired to me.
I love what this organization stands for and hope when my grand daughter becomes a young woman, she will be involved in something so amazing. Jodi Comer, I love you and you continue to aspire AND inspire all around the world ❤️ Thank you Nobel Panacea and Girl Up!
Kudos to all the ladies in this panel! Keep up the great work! Jodie was great as usual. You definitely can use your platform on social media for positivity and this is definitely a good start. Thanks for letting us know about this event! We hope to see more!
«There is also a tendency that when you see other people’s success as your own downfall, you become completely distracted by that as opposed to focusing on yourself”. Such a true statement and easier said than done to combat challenges like that when you feel pressured even though there may not be pressure there.
Was such a brilliant discussion loved the passion and drive of these young leaders and it's just fantastic that Jodie is apart of this fantastic initiative. Thank you to all of you ❤️
I’m so glad you posted this, thanks so much. I was gonna join but it was 3am for me haha. But Jodie was in my dream so I’m not complaining. She was so nice to me 🥺 and told me some really nice stuff 😂
I cannot be told ENOUGH to stop comparing myself to others. Totally sage advice and I appreciate the reinforcement. I wish the ladies would’ve answered Jodie’s question at the beginning about what more one can do with social media specifically, but it can be gleaned from the convo overall from that a good answer is “community.” Idk what I would’ve done without my Facebook groups and Instagram group chats in 2020 like *ahem* for Killing Eve and FreeBritney. (The latter is totally a human rights issue too!) I really enjoyed this video. I’m pleased you posted the whole thing, NP ☺️
Noble = Jodie ! This company knows how to grab your attention with the liverpool Goddess ! She is a model as well as having other worldly gifts . Just good to see her in the present smiling and confident ! Jodie is amazing and the future is bright with her ! All of these young women are inspiring and have a great start on figuring out what direction they want to go in . Life is a smack in the face at times and these women can take it and then dig deep to rise and overcome anything .
Very articulate young women and the Girl Up host is very helpful in leading this discussion. Glad Jodie is involved and she'll bring more of a spotlight on this organization. Anyone who can, please SHARE this video with young people, especially females. Thank You All !! Makes me hopeful for the future !!
